Is testing at 9/10 dpo really too early? This is the stage i am at, tested twice...both bfns, once today once yesterday.

I remember with dd i was at least 4 days before af when i got my bfp so i am feeling pretty much out..when i had high hopes this month.

Countdown to pregnancy site says 47% bfp by 9dpo and 66% by 10dpo.

Im feeling some symptoms but duno if im over spotting. Had tiny tinge of brown discharge today when i wiped, af due in four days.

@lp17
I’m so sorry to hear all that. You really do need to be looking after each other at the moment. Your health is most important!

Good luck with the build moving forwards - hope it all gets sorted out smoothly!

LP17 · 30/07/2018 09:12

@glera hello and congratulations on your news! How are you feeling? Had any appointments yet??

I've been better. DH was in the hospital for a few weeks it was scary, he's out now and back at work. I sacked the builder and the replacement is costing us more money than originally planned now so that has been quite stressful too. Still living with ILs 10 weeks later...neither of us are in the right headspace to be trying for a baby at the moment so we aren't...it all feels a bit doom and gloom at the moment I'm afraid!

Glera · 27/07/2018 19:17

@lp17

How are you doing? I’ve been thinking about you and your busy, busy life. Are you looking after yourself? X

Glera · 22/07/2018 07:14

@babyhopeful2018 @lookingforadvice15

Thank you ladies. Genuinely didn’t think I was pregnant! We barely dtd and I wasn’t tracking my days at all. I was so convinced AF was coming that I went out on Friday for a works do and got far too drunk!

Woke up Saturday and threw up - I never get sick after drinking. I had a test squirrelled away so did it and got the shock of my life. Definitely not how I imagined the moment being at all!

Will steer clear of the wine now though ...

Lookingforadvice15 · 21/07/2018 20:01

I think I'm about 9 weeks!!

I'm one of the lucky ones with no symptoms at all except jeans are starting to feel a tad tight at times! Although I wish I had some kinda symptom to feel pregnant as I'm not at the moment lol

🤞🏻 it's your month @Glera xxx

Hey all.
Just checking in as it has been so quiet.

I’m day 26 of something between a 31-34 day cycle. Only DTD twice last month as was so busy so don’t think I’ll have the BFP. Just thought I’d message all the same anyway.

Hope you pregnant ladies (babyhopeful2018 and lookingforadvice15 ) are looking after yourself. Any updates for us? And @lp17 I definitely hope you’re looking after yourself!

Glera x

LP17 · 08/07/2018 10:40

@glera @babyhopeful2018 we didn't try last month and won't be this month, DH is poorly in hospital, ongoing issues with builders etc. Still living with ILs if you can believe it.
Trying my very best to be happy for other people, but I have got to the point where I just feel a bit nothingy about everything...

So good luck ladies but I'm off the buses for now!

Glera · 08/07/2018 07:27

@babyhopeful2018 @lookingforadvice15 @LP17

Hi ladies, sorry I’ve been off the grid a bit.

@lookingforadvice15 Sorry to read the sad news about your Gran. Hopefully you’re looking after yourself after what sounds like a very stressful time.

@babyhopeful2018 how are you feeling? Excited for that scan I bet?

No update really from me. I found AF arriving (early) last month tougher that I thought I would. Staying positive though. Not really trying this month as it’s such a busy month so if it happens, it happens. Unsure what’s going on with my cycles now either, i had gone to 34 days but last month was 31 days.

Feel like at this rate it’ll never happen, now on our 8th cycle attempt.

Keep in touch :)

babyhopeful2018 · 02/07/2018 19:12

Hi All

I had my 'booking' appointment today with the midwife and I found it soo good that you could talk about literally anything with her.

🤞🏻 in 4 to 5 weeks I should get to see my little bundle of joy in my first scan!!

How are you getting on @Lookingforadvice15 ?! You should be about 12 week mark now?!

How are @Glera and @LP17 getting on this cycle?!xxx

babyhopeful2018 · 28/06/2018 08:39

Hi @Lookingforadvice15 sorry to hear you've had such a sad time recently!! Send my love to all the family

Aww big hugs to you @Glera - ive my fingers and toes crossed for you next month xxx

Lookingforadvice15 · 24/06/2018 21:03

Hi @glera and everyone,

Sorry for just getting back. Had a lot going on the past few weeks. My gran died two weeks ago today very suddenly. Its been a huge shock to all the family. I had the funeral last thurs then flew out to spain on fathers day, just back today. It was a holiday i booked last july. Just a lot going on. Im glad to be home and im just going to relax.
Hope everyone is well xx

I’m out!

LP17 · 21/06/2018 12:26

@glera stay strong, don't test until Sunday! You just never know what's going to happen.

I have carried on temping this month and it looks like my body tried and failed to ovulate so far. Apparently, this can be caused by low progesterone....which can be caused by......stress!! Shocker.

Glera · 20/06/2018 21:37

@babyhopeful2018
I would’ve gone to the doctors first as opposed to a midwife don’t worry.

I’m 11dpo but still not tested. Slightly nervous AF is on her way as had light brown CM, been exhausted and incredibly moody - like incredibly moody.

AF not due until Sunday and as we all know, it’s not over until the witch arrives. Intuition speaks for a lot though I think.

Thinking of those of you with bfps and those of us with bfns.

babyhopeful2018 · 19/06/2018 07:00

Morning @LP17

Went to my dr appointment last Thursday to be told they don't do anything with pregnancy and I had to contact midwife directly!! (My first baby I didn't know 🤷🏻‍♀️) so phoned them straight away and have that appointment 02/07

So it's just a waiting game until then xxx

LP17 · 18/06/2018 13:06

@babyhopeful2018 that's great! how was your appointment??

@mrssnootypants2018 fantastic! how are you feeling???

@glera - neverending doom & gloom it feels like!!! Unfortunately, we had more bad luck last week in the family, with work & there is something wrong with DH.....he's been referred to a consultant so I'm fretting. That said, we ended up DTD on Saturday which was the day before predicted ovulation. So will probably end up having to take a test this month as AF is due the day I go on a hen......so much for not trying! 34 days seems like an eternity to me but if you have a long luteal phase it's more time for a little sticky bean to make itself at home :) I almost feel like having no symptoms is good because it makes it easier to tell if something is different??? I've realised I feel really shitty after I've ovulated - headaches, spots, backache etc etc which I initially mistook for signs of pregnancy!

Glera · 17/06/2018 17:33

@mrssnootypants2018
That’s wonderful news. Big congratulations to you! Hope you’re resting up and soaking in all the excitement.

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 17/06/2018 14:58

Had faint bfp at 13dpo then definite bfp on first response x2 and three digitals.

Glera · 17/06/2018 14:50

@mrssnootypants2018

How did you get on lovely? Was it a bfp month or are you back on the TTC wagon?

Glera · 17/06/2018 14:49

@lp17 @babyhopeful2018 @lookingforadvice15

Happy Father’s Day to the daddies to be!
How are you ladies-with-child feeling?

How are you feeling @lp17?

I think I’m around 7/8dpo now, not 100% sure. Not really got any symptoms either way which doesn’t help so much. Wish the next week would hurry up, 34 day cycles suck so much - it’s sooo long!

babyhopeful2018 · 14/06/2018 12:56

Hey @LP17

I'm feeling great thanks!! A little tired and bloated but that's all!! I had a few IC lying about and there is no mistaking that very strong line (it's actually darker than the control line and came up near enough straight away)

Got my dr appointment this afternoon so maybe I'll manage to find out more then ☺️☺️

I've got everything crossed for you and @Glera and I'm sure it'll be your turn to post your BFP soon 🤞🏻.

DH decided to stop actually trying last month and just take things as it comes so we were both more relaxed (although I did drink grapefruit juice, temp and eat pineapple core just to see) and our BFP arrived 3 weeks later xx
