Does anyone actually know in person someone who has conceived naturally at 45?

I'm 45, have two children aged 3 and 18 months (both conceived naturally when I was 41 and 42) and lets just say we had an irresponsible moment shortly after my last period and now I'm a few days late and too scared to test!

I'm having a HUGE wobble!

I keep telling myself it is very very unlikely because it was very early on in my cycle and chances of conceiving are very very small at 45.

I know I should just find out but haven't got the courage to atm. If I took a test and it was negative it would put my mind at ease but if it's not....oh my gosh.

I know of a woman who conceived naturally and accidentally at 52 (and had the baby). Take a test.
And let us know!

A friend had her second child naturally aged 44.

Yes, two. BUT both were actively trying and my social circle is mainly expat/professional women of that age, so my sample is biased.

My Grandma conceived my uncle at 47. She mistook pregnancy for the menopause at first.

My aunty had her first at 46. She found out after splitting up from her husband (for unrelated reasons). I think you should test.

My mum conceived my brother at 44 naturally, first try. She still had regular periods though at that point.

Best thing to do is POAS to be sure x
