Af was due monday still no sign but got BFN this been crying all morning just feels like my body hates me and likes torturing me. Gonna hopfully test again saturday. Just cant take the disapointment been ten months since i came off the pill x

Cycle: 1 after miscarriage 6months since coming off the pill

This is our first month trying after a miscarriage at 10 weeks in early March. First period finished yesterday and BFP/AF due 20/05/18. I'm not sure how accurate that is due to the miscarriage messing up the apps cycle lengths however made a pact first time round no ovulation sticks would enter our house until the 6month mark which we didn't need last time and sticking to it this time round so shamelessly will be dtd from now until then 😂 exhausting!

@LP17 @ready4number2 Temping is such fun when you don't get enough sleep. I usually sack off those days and just go again the next day I'd rather have a projected reading than one that I know is off, otherwise it sends my apps and charts silly! My temps tend to be within .5 of a degree each morning until OV, then it rises in two steps for me every time, stays high until 3 days before AF and then drops, climbs, drops and AF will be the next day. You'll see your own pattern emerge quite quickly.

@LP17 I started about 4 days ago. I already forgot one morning and I've also been up in the night with my 2 year old. Although i got a 4 hour stretch before i took it today. It seems to vary a lot, but not sure how much it should??
I'm sure a pattern will emerge soon enough.
I hope tomorrow goes better for you and you get a longer sleep too.

I'm going tomorrow to get my copper coil removed so I'll be officially on the bus! Although AF due 24th April so I'm not counting it as cycle #1 until then. I keep saying to my partner NO BUT ARE YOU SURE??????

@clairehr I literally feel like my uterus is exploding. So painful. Also, absolute (hilarious) nightmare trying to take my temperature for the first time this morning. Woke up repeatedly in the night, tossing & turning, work up for the last time at 4.30am desperate for a wee....eventually took my temperature at 5.15am so I could have a wee...........husband was also awake. We ended up having a cuppa and watching Brooklyn 99 in bed with the dog until it was time for our alarms (6.30am). A really successful start to temping I'd say!!!! (@ready4number2 - when did you start temping and how is it going so far?? better than my first night?!)

@stegosauruslady this made me giggle, I'm sure you'll all be in the same boat. Hope everyone remembers their earplugs!

Morning! Hopping on. I'm feeling good about this month as we are on holiday for precisely the whole of my FW. DP and I are going to break our record for most shags in one week. I do feel slightly sorry for the friends that are coming with us, but they are TTC too so I hope they will understand!

@LP17 Hope you're doing ok today! My cramps have been more painful than I remember since coming off the pill. I assume it's something to do with age!

@clairehr I'm just having my (second) dinner then jumping in a nice hot bubble bath! My periods are significantly more painful now than they ever have been so that's just extra fun to add to this whole process!

I'd like to join. Currently on cycle 3, cd 14. Last cycle was 78 days so hoping I'm not in for another long cycle. Started temping this month to see if I can determine if I'm actually ovulating??

Hi @clairehr looks like we're in a very similar cycle now - BFP due 12th May & today is CD1. Fx for us both.

Two miscarriages last year. Had a bit of a break and now trying and hoping for a sticky bean soon. We we're going to give this month a miss due to potential due date being the same as stepson, but decided that life is too short.

Cycles vary between 26 - 29 days. Had Mirena coil removed at the start of December.

This month I will be trying temping/charting rather than solely relying on OPKs. I also need to take a serious chill pill, having convinced myself for the last 2 cycles that I'm pregnant for various reasons. We are having an extension put on the house and it is causing us both quite a lot of stress so I don't know why I'm surprised that AF has arrived...

Officially started my TWW today. Already going insane . Need to think of some things to try and distract myself. Still fairly new to this journey and it's all I can think about, but I know stress isn't going to help so am going to try and be calm... anyone have any TWW tips?

Dh has been the driving force this time as he's been desperate for a 2nd for a while. Weirdly we started trying for dc1 exactly this time 5 years ago, fell on the first month and ended up only just making it to full term having an Xmas Eve baby. I said never again do I want to risk that, and here we are!

My husband (33) and I (27) got married last June but due to a crazy 2017 with family illnesses and bereavements we only stopped taking Cerelle in November 2017 (before this I was on microgynon as a teen then the mirena for 5 years). Had a 4 day period 6 weeks after stopping the pill (December 2017) but nothing again till a 5-6 day real period (definitely felt worse than the first one!!) at the beginning of April 2018.

So I guess this is the first proper month of trying!

Using the "Clue" app to track, taking daily morning temperature and started using the Clear Blue Advanced Digital Ovulation tests (I'm one of those super organised people)...

CD 11 - negative test
CD 12 - flashing smiley (high fertility)
CD 13 - flashing smiley (high fertility)

Keeping testing in hope of seeing that static smiley which means peak fertility! And trying every 2nd day till that peak appears!

One thing that make things a little more challenging (psychologically) is that I'm actually a Sonographer! Lots of extra knowledge and introducing couple to their lovely little babies every day

First cycle post MMC and D&C in early March at 10 weeks

My period finally arrived today after an anxious wait - unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to conceive straight away. Still, incredibly relieved that my body seems to be getting back to normal. Hopefully I'll be luckier this month!

@Justwaitingforaline it's a weird feeling, being hit with sadness while holding a perfect baby isn't it. I feel guilty when I say these things, we've only been trying 6 months, really don't feel I deserve to moan.
Never say your failing though.

country I totally get what you mean. The lady I am covering on Mat leave came in with her 8 week old and after much deliberation, I had a cuddle with her and I was so overcome with sadness and jealousy. My grandmother is ill and the first time she said to me today was ‘ when am I going to get another great grandchild?’. I don’t have the heart to tell her we’ve been trying and failing for 18 months

How has ttc turned me into an emotional jealous person! Met cousins beautiful 1 week old baby today, perfect baby. And I was so jealous of them, it isn't like me.
Family also keep asking when will you have a baby and it's getting harder to just brush off. I know they mean well but I want it to be our turn so much!
Plus I'm getting a cold so feeling sorry for myself. Sorry to rant.
Fingers crossed this is all our month. Hope all you ladies are keeping spirits up better than me.

@helloworld88. Had to have a vent yesterday. AF was 2 days late and I kinda got my hopes up. Was brought back to earth with a thud the moment she showed! Currently on cycle 6 so fingers crossed x
