I know a few people will unfortunately be joining me eventually so I figured I'd get this bus going.
My cycles are crazy and averaging 60 days and I don't think I've ovulated yet so I'm out for April.

Age: 27
TTC: #1
Cycle: #4 (month 8)
CD: #25

Not holding much hope for conception at the moment but I've got to wait until August anyway.
Such an optimistic person to start the new bus!

@Aph413 so happy you finally have a positive opk. I know the feeling of waiting for that smiley face. I had to wait 60+ days for my last one. Currently on CD20 and nothing yet.

LP17 · 20/04/2018 17:53

@Help I've just switched to folic acid & a b vitamin complex to see if it makes a difference, apparently the multivitamins can affect your cycle? I'm also switching from conceive plus to pre-seed.

Help201602 · 20/04/2018 16:44

Hi I’m joining the bus. Sadly af arrived this morning.

TTC#3
Cycle 8 or 9
Cd 1
Age 41
Cycle length 28-31 days

I started on clear blue advanced fertility monitor last cycle combined with starting conceive plus, I was sure last cycle was the month. Well now I’m trying to think of other things I need to try. Wondering about more varied vitamins or supplements I should be taking other than the folic acid? Reading all the Bfps wondering what is the secret lol

silverpenguin · 20/04/2018 16:34

@puzzlepiece I'm not in TWW yet but remember the craaazy symptom spotting from last time. I'm determined to be more chilled out this time around but we'll see if that happens.

HidCat · 20/04/2018 15:22

@ClumsyFool nowt wrong with jumping on top lol.😂

Just had a dollop of EWCM drop out of me! Sitting at my desk, felt it, went to the loo and there it was! WTAF? Never had that before 😳. Positive opk was last week too. So flipping weird!

Aph413 · 20/04/2018 12:49

Omg. 8 months ttc and this is my first positive opk. Doubley confirmed with an internet cheapy at the same time, plus loads of ewcm yesterday and today. Can't believe it really.
Also weirdly excited that if nothing else I know my period is due in 2 weeks Grin

Ha yes I know it means nothing. So hard to not think about it though. I've stopped telling DH anything as a couple of cycles ago I was sure I was pregnant but think I must have had a dodgy stomach! He now isn't listening to me if I mention a "symptom" and doesn't seem to be thinking about it. Wish I could do the same and put it out of my head!

Leonora94 · 20/04/2018 09:19

Symptom spotting is the worst...last month I was so convinced because I started not liking the taste of coffee turns out was just crap coffee Grin

LP17 · 20/04/2018 08:24

@puzzlepiece I have literally convinced myself I was pregnant for the last 2 cycles due to symptom spotting. I've now started writing down every single thing that's happened as a reminder that none of it means anything! Blush

@clairehr trying to relax over here. I have an overall 0.6 temp variation over the last few days but assume O will be a bigger one Halo

ClumsyFool · 20/04/2018 08:16

*Jump on too not jump on top 🙈

ClumsyFool · 20/04/2018 08:15

Morning I’d like to jump on top please,

TTC: #1
Cycle 5
CD12
Age 34

Cycles seemed to have shortened since my chemical in January. Down to 24 days the last 2 cycles after a random long one. Not feeling hopeful this month for some reason but might just be because I’ve been ill for the last week and not really thinking about TTC for what must be the first time this year!

puzzlepiece · 20/04/2018 07:59

For those already on it, how's everyone finding their TWW? I promise myself that I'm not going to think about every little twinge but am driving myself insane with symptom spotting. I really need to stop!...

fulanigirl · 20/04/2018 07:32

Can I join? AF is due May 3rd. Currently on my 2 week wait.

Hi everyone. We just started trying this month Smile

Age: 32
TTC #2
Cycle 1
CD: 10
AF/BFP due 8th May

polkadotjersey · 19/04/2018 17:45

Jumping on here after a possible chemical this cycle (faint positive, then negative the next morning followed by AF).

Age: 31
TTC #1
Cycle: 2
CD: 2
Cycle Length: 29
AF/BFP due: 17th May

We tried SMEP last cycle but I got frustrated with OPKs after a couple of negatives a few days apart and gave up. Looking back now I was just trying to test too early so think I'll have another go this month. Using Natural Cycles to track with temping.

Good luck all!

TryingForAges · 19/04/2018 10:05

I'll be jumping on now I think.

TTC #1
Been trying for nearly 18 mths

Was on the April bus but don't think my BFP is coming this month so back on now.

physicskate · 19/04/2018 09:40

Alex, just be aware that 80% will get pregnant in the first year and 50% of those who didn't get pregnant in the first year will do so in the second.

In my experience, going to the doctor will not make you get pregnant any sooner. I find havin low expectations helpful, so don't expect the gp to be of any help.

Even ivf has only about a 30% success rate (on average, depends on a range of factors).

Alex2790 · 19/04/2018 07:30

Think af on its way 3 days late again 😞 had some spotting yesterday. Got an appointment with dr friday gonna say its been a year cos i dont think two months will make a difference seen as its been ten months since i came off pill x

Leonora94 · 19/04/2018 07:29

Hi can I jump on?

Age 23

#Cycle 2
#TTC 1

Was supposed to properly start trying this month but DH was sick for pretty much the entire window when I was ovulating (selfish 😂) so I highly doubt I am, AF not due for another 2 weeks though...long cycles!

clairehr · 19/04/2018 07:00

@LP17 I'm currently using Flo and Fertility Friend. I have used others too, but found these ones most accurate.

Try not to be too concerned about the ups and downs, without the temps being at the same time every day and there being the exact same conditions there will always be peaks and troughs. What you're mainly looking for is a positive shift to a higher temperature over a period of at least three days around ovulation. Even when my pre O temps are a bit all over the place due to not sleeping well it's clear to see the shift in pattern.

starsandstuff · 18/04/2018 20:01

Rats, couldn't get my coil out today cos there was no doctor in the clinic. Have to go back tomorrow morning. Shaved my legs and power hosed my foof for nothing Grin

LP17 · 18/04/2018 10:27

@ready4number2 yeah I guess you're right I will never sleep properly again if I'm fretting about getting it absolutely right at the same time each day. Definitely going to use OPKs this month as well so I don't miss anything.

ready4number2 · 18/04/2018 08:50

@LP17 I was up in the night again with the little one. Managed to go back to sleep at 4am and took temp at 5.30 and 6.30. Both different. It was lower earlier. I'm using the one at 6.30 for my chart. Don't know if it's accurate but I'm more looking for a big shift around ovulation to determine if I'm ovulating. I'm using opk's as well.

Alex2790 · 18/04/2018 07:54

@LP17 thank you im keeping my fingers crossed to test again sat x

LP17 · 18/04/2018 07:42

@clairehr @ready4number2 awake again at 4.30am so took temp at 5.15 for consistency Grin but did actually fall back to sleep and took it at 7.05am and it was .6 difference. Do we think that is ok/normal?? I'm going to leave the chart as it currently is but might discard one or both depending on how I go over the next few days. Which apps do you use @clairehr?

Welcome @spottyyellowdress fx for you!

@2018isanewyear welcome and I'm sorry about your MC. Make sure you get plenty of rest in preparation for your FW!

@Alex2790 I have found TTC very hard, mentally, and am only on cycle 4. You're not out until AF arrives - I've read a lot of threads and heard stories of people not getting a BFP until they were 6 weeks or more along. The waiting is the worst but best to know one way or the other. Fx for you x
