I know a few people will unfortunately be joining me eventually so I figured I'd get this bus going.
My cycles are crazy and averaging 60 days and I don't think I've ovulated yet so I'm out for April.

Age: 27
TTC: #1
Cycle: #4 (month 8)
CD: #25

Not holding much hope for conception at the moment but I've got to wait until August anyway.
Such an optimistic person to start the new bus!

@clairehr @italianwifey well that's good to know - had a bit of EWCM but a negative OPK today as well - thought we'd better BD just in case!

Also welcome @italianwifey. I'm cycle 4 TTC #1. For the past 2 cycles I've been convinced I was pregnant, DH has had to remove all tests from the house - now I can't just POAS on the spur of the moment. Then I remember the disappointment of a BFN and decide I won't go and buy one, I'll just wait one more day Blush

italianwifey · 23/04/2018 20:49

Hi all, please can I join?
I'm due to be CD1 tomorrow, cycle 3.
Promising myself this month im not going to test until AF is due/late because its getting silly the amount spending on POAS!

@LP17 - I ov'd on CD 9 or 10 last cycle, after Ov ing on CD12 the previous one - I think its okay it just depends on your cycle length?I think FF takes into account your CM as well as temps when deciding when you ovd, so maybe the watery info is making it think it was that day?

clairehr · 23/04/2018 17:23

@LP17 How odd! Perhaps it will just take a few months worth of data to start analysing properly. Mine had about 3 months in before finding a discernible pattern. Worth checking what you have set as your luteal phase and cycle length too as that will affect when it predicts you FW. It might just be adjusting to your temps at the moment, as it does jump around if it starts to detect a pattern.

Spottyyellowdress · 23/04/2018 17:17

Thanks @Aph413! It’s a normal clear blue digital - used the same wee that I dipped the other one in as a test! Maybe just a faulty one or used it wrong? Def will dtd today anyway - on cd16 so it can’t be far off!

Aph413 · 23/04/2018 16:48

Also I'd say the cheap one was positive too since the test line looks to be the same colour as the control .
I had my positive on a digital 3 days ago that was also positive on a cheap one. However I also tested a few hours later put of curiosity and the clear blue was reading negative again.
I'd always dtd just in case and test in a few hours on another digital to see if you can catch your surge. However if thats the dual hormone one it'll read negative if you haven't used it before

spottyyellowdress are you using the dual hormone or regular clear blue digitals?

OP posts:
Spottyyellowdress · 23/04/2018 16:39

Could someone help me out with opks? Usually use cheap sticks off amazon but bought a clear blue one for this cycle - what I took as a positive on the amazon stick just gave me an empty circle on the clear blue! Have I been reading these wrong?

Hi all

Just checking in. I'm on CD8 but for some reason, FF app is saying I'm fertile yesterday & today (not projected to be fertile until this Weds up until Sat based on last months data) - can anyone give me a clue?! Is this normal? I've been temping each morning as best I can but also inputting data about my CM (which was watery yesterday and more sticky today). My temp is a little up and down (by 0.3 degrees). @clairehr sorry I carry on asking you as though you are FF app support but any wisdom you can share?

In my head over the past 2 days I've been thinking HA no wonder I haven't had a BFP we haven't even usually started (planned) BD until CD10/11 over the past couple of months. Luckily we did randomly last night. Or should I not hold my breath - I know I've seen posts about peoples fertile days being moved around??

MrsM2017 · 22/04/2018 21:38

Isn't it @flyingplum! Truthfully when we decided to TTC I never thought (nievely!!) that it would take quite this long, so even though we knew they'd be a period of him being away, we didn't think it would be an issue! So frustrating now lol!

flyingplum · 22/04/2018 21:26

We're similar to you @MrsM2017 - I'm just headed back oop north, not back down til Friday, then up again the following Monday. If things play along and stay regular, OD is due on the 1st May, when OH and I will be several hundred miles apart. V similar last month. So annoying!!!

MrsM2017 · 22/04/2018 20:40

Managed to get in a quickie this afternoon 😉 (poor hubby!) so guess this is me entering the dreaded 2ww too!

Fingers crossed @jaykaydee and @Countrygirl94 that this month is bfps for us all!

Countrygirl94 · 22/04/2018 20:15

@jaykaydee I'm entering the tww as well.

Feeling stupidly optimistic this month. Started using opks, think I got a positive on Friday (never used them before, the line was same colour as control). dtd Thursday Friday and Saturday so fingers crossed. Will keep doing the dtd every second day now just in case.

Now just have to try not symptom spot.

jaykaydee · 22/04/2018 17:07

Were in a similar situation to you Mrs M. OPK was positive yesterday a day or so earlier than expected . Hopefully it was right, as we've has a few opportunities this weekend. He's now away until Wednesday so that's it for trying for this month. 2ww starts here.

MrsM2017 · 22/04/2018 16:37

How's everyone getting on? 🙂

My hubby got back from working away on Friday night which I think luckily coincided with ovulation (according to my App as not allowed to do opks this month as still on the clearblue trial). Also noticed some ewcm since Thurs Eve/Friday morning. So we did Friday & Saturday, but he leaves again for work this eve until next weekend, so unless an afternoon quickie is on the cards 😂 I guess this will be our only chance this cycle. Keeping fingers and toes crossed just incase!

Mipha · 22/04/2018 11:00

fulanigirl · 22/04/2018 08:36

Had a dream last night that I got a positive on a first response. I'm now just itching to start testing but I'm only 4dpo!

puzzlepiece · 22/04/2018 07:38

Thank you @Ridethewaves. Good luck with the removal!

Ridethewaves · 21/04/2018 22:17

Hi everyone,
I'm new to all this- due to have my implant out on Monday so feeling excited/ nervous. Reading through some of the posts on here is so helpful!
Hope you're feeling a bit better now puzzle piece. It sounds like trying to conceive is a massive roller coaster, fingers crossed you're on an up next!
Looking forward to sharing the journey with you all Smile

puzzlepiece · 21/04/2018 20:31

@silverpenguin I am trying my hardest not to think about every little thing but I've been feeling awful today. I had a 2 hour nap this afternoon because I feel wiped. I'm probably coming down with something but trying not to think 'what if?...'

winterwarmers · 21/04/2018 14:32

cd1
ttc baby no 2
age 23

i'm taking part in the clear blue study for ovulation tests, fingers crossed for everyone

ClumsyFool · 21/04/2018 13:28

@HidCat I’ve been too poorly to be jumping on anything lately 😂 that’s about to change though, finally feeling better and fertile window has arrived!

Aph413 · 21/04/2018 09:30

@polkadot I'm waiting on an ovusense monitor since I work shifts my temperature is not reliable. I did try to wake myself up half an hour before my earliest shift start everyday but that is hard work.
I've dtd plenty around this positive opk at any rate. Will probably add one more today for luck and just keep my fingers crossed for my first realistic tww

polkadotjersey · 21/04/2018 09:11

@Aph413 Are you temping? That's a really clear way of confirming that you've ovulated.

Help201602 · 20/04/2018 22:34

@LP17 Thanks. I’ve been looking at cassanovum tablets but not sure if there’s any real evidence for their use. After reading through threads others have tried different things agnus cactus, progesterone cream. Not sure what I should be doing, think after 7 cycles at 41 I should probably go to doctors:(

Aph413 · 20/04/2018 22:27

ready4number2 I've spent a small fortune on opks chasing this damn smilie face. It's been so disheartening assuming I haven't been ovulating
