May Bus

Hi all! Hopping on the bus as AF late but two BFNs. AF bound to come soon 😩
TTC#1
Cycle length- god knows now, was 28
Cycle- 5
CD- 30!!

Feeling hormonal and fed up...

@clairehr I used conceive plus when ttc my daughter. First month I got pg but had a chemical, 2nd month I got pg with my daughter. So that's what I'll be doing again this time in the hopes it works again.

does b6 help with progesterone?

@ClumsyFool short LP is due to lack of progesterone in the body which results in the uterus lining not being thick enough to implant a fertilised egg. Or it may get implanted but just not be able to stay implanted -- as far as I'm aware

We used pre seed for the first time last cycle so can’t really judge it yet but I quite liked it so happy to carry on using it during fertile windows. My lp has certainly shortened since I had a chemical pregnancy in my first cycle. I tend to ovulate on day 15 or 16 and my last 2 cycles have only been 24 days. Does this mean an egg is unlikely to have time to implant if fertilised? I take a pre pregnancy multi vitamin that has B6 in it, it’s 100% of the rda but wondering if the supplements some of you mentioned have a higher amount in maybe?

Forgot to add I ovulate Saturday. When DH away. Helpful!! Going to dtd tonight, tomorrow just before he goes and when he gets back on Sunday. I have pcos and irregular cycles sometimes so exact o day is hard to predict. Trying to dtd every other all month but increase it a little bit when I think I’m ovulating

@SunshineAndRainbows6 so the Apps are 100% not accurate in when you ovulate. The rule is that a woman with a 28 day cycle will ovulate on day 14 but that's absolute crap😂 we're all different, have different length cycles and will ovulate on different days of our cycles.
If you WANT to be more accurate you can track BBT, but the only thing with that is that you only know AFTER you have ovulated. I used to do it but only to check I was Ovulation and to see if there was a pattern - which there wasn't - but I just cba doing it now 🙊😂

I also check my RHR as it tends to go alongside my BBT ... I shall post pics to show you 😊 see below.

@clairehr I haven't personally used it but I have read some other forums with good reviews! One lady had been trying for over a year and used it one month and got her BFP! So it can't hurt to try aayyyeee 😁🤞🏻

@xlauraa As this is our first proper month of TTC I haven't really been doing anything like that... I have been using the apps and checking my CM! Might start doing my BBT if nothing happens this month... I have been keeping an eye on mum RHR using my Fitbit which I wear all the time so thought there's no harm in seeing if I see a pattern...😂 What about you? Do you use anything?

Can I jump on the bus ladies! I'm a new member, OH and I decided it was the time to start trying for a baby. I came off my pill end of March, had my withdrawal bleed for 5 days or so. Using Clue app to track cycle etc.

Even though I knew it was unlikely for it to happen as soon as I came off the pill I was so disappointed yesterday when AF appeared. Promised myself that whatever happens will happen and we won't be "trying" too hard.. well that went straight out the window!!

@xLauraa it's just worth a try as the month before i had a faint bfp then af came so maybe it didn't implant properly due to short lp

@SunshineAndRainbows6 do you track BBT or are you just going by when the app tells you you should ovulate?

@clairehr we use it and we used it last time round to conceive DD. I got it from Amazon I think. Definitely worth a try IMO.

@clarehr we’ve been using it for the last few months but not made a difference yet! Always worth a shot though.

How many of you lovelies have used/are using pre-seed? Wondering whether to grab some this cycle, FW has already started (rabbits have nothing on us right now 😂) so could pick some up today if it seems worth it.

Currently 7DPO and my fingers are getting twitchy to start grabbing the tests 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ HELP ME STAY SANE!!!

But the issue I have is that I also have another two apps which tell me I ovulated at completely different times so I'm unsure which one to go by!? 🤔🤦🏻‍♀️

Been feeling bloody awful these last couple of days though... not due AF for another week but had such bad cramps yesterday to the point where I thought she might have turned up early! Felt dizzy, had a headache and bad backache... but that could be down to moving house over the weekend... so who knows ayyyeee! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@silverpenguin yes I am waiting until the morning. DH says we need a credit card for the amount I'm spending on tests (total exaggeration!).
