Advice on negative pg tests?

Hey! Just looking for some experience! Has anyone actually been pregnant and took a while to show positive on a hpt? I have a few symptoms and in general feel like I could be! My AF would've been due between last Thursday and yesterday but took a hpt last Wednesday and yesterday and both show negative :( I'm using Superdrug's cheap make. I'm NEVER late for AF so feeling positive. Almost every post I've read seems that everyone tests positive before their AF is due so feeling a bit disappointed at the moment! Sad

I can’t see as picture a little blurry, could you take another? I can see something though.. have you downloaded the pregnancy test checker app as you can mke the line glow??

Hey girls, can I join?

My withdrawal bleed from Dianette was 2 weeks late. It finally came but was very light, hardly any red blood and lasted 2-3 days. I took an FRER last night after throwing up Saturday! Can anyone see a line?!

@sauvignonblancplz hey :) it’s been a journey!!! I’m yet to tell anyone bar dp of course. It’s going to be a busy year as we have just reserved a house to move into next March, we were expecting conceiving to take some time but it’s happened quickly, I’ve been on mumsnet for a while reading other people’s situations and we are all very different... I could tell soon on then something wasn’t right but the tests kept saying negative, it was only yesterday I really felt pregnant though... first day I felt yuck lol.
Drs are useless, they make us self diagnose and worry ourselves! How are you feeling? Are you nervous? I feel slightly nervous already but I guess that’s natural!! Xx

Was reading your thread, that’s definitely a positive , huge congratulations!! Your dr sounds like an idiot!!
If it gives you any hope I didn’t get a positive until CD 39 of a 32 day cycle & was very faint and never got any darker . Currently a very large 8months pregnant!! Every single woman is different , this is my third pregnancy and my first two I got a very strong positive before my period was due.
I’m a good bit older now and this bump took two years to appear.
Keep going and be kind to yourself , don’t judge yourself for peeeing on your tenth stick , or scrutinising every symptom during that horrible tww, everyone does it and it helps you feel like you’re in control of something that you have no control
Over . I found the fertility friend app very helpful and measuring my basal body temp helped my pin point when I was ovulating.

He says he calculating I’m due af between today and Thursday xx

Just spoken to dr and he says he think I’m due my period.. if he goes from withdrawal bleed and the test on Sunday was super faint.. there is hope Kate!!!!! He also said he wouldn’t book me in with midwife yet as I’m so early I may mc!! Charming . Xxxx

@Rose2887 lol I hate my doctor too! Had you taken another test this morning? I'd say your line is a definite positive so I'd make an appointment Smile I took a test this morning with a fr and it was negative so I doubt it! Xxx

@Kate123cl that’s exactly how I felt though.. I’ve still been having cramps, like I’m going to start af then nothing.. woke in the night with cramps!!! Not sure what I’m meant to be doing now??!!! Do I ring the drs... thing is I don’t like my doctor very much! Xxx

@Rose2887 The doctor said it MAY still be too early to test, hence the negatives. Last night I had very strong af pains so not hopeful at all ☹️ also feel like I have a urine infection today! All very weird! Xxx

@kate123cl do you? 🙈 well I’m not sleeping great which is a sign I had with my dd... so maybe I am!
My dp sat down Saturday and couldn’t work out when I had that withdrawal bleed so im stuffed really... although I’m thinking I’m very early if I am as the line is only just noticeable! How are you? X
