Advice on negative pg tests?

Hey! Just looking for some experience! Has anyone actually been pregnant and took a while to show positive on a hpt? I have a few symptoms and in general feel like I could be! My AF would've been due between last Thursday and yesterday but took a hpt last Wednesday and yesterday and both show negative :( I'm using Superdrug's cheap make. I'm NEVER late for AF so feeling positive. Almost every post I've read seems that everyone tests positive before their AF is due so feeling a bit disappointed at the moment! Sad

Can I join too please? I’m 4 days late and been feeling crampy like af is going to arrive every day and still not come! Did tests yesterday so if still not here in the morning I might try testing again tomorrow. I think it’s unlikely though as we only dtd a few days before ovulation this month! I just want af to arrive so can get on with next month really. Congrats all bfps!

@Kate123cl been trying since October. Ovulated without periods a few times as was still breastfeeding at night, but then periods came back Feb. I only have one tube so I knew it would take time. It's just this limbo that's making me anxious! X

Not tried any other tests yet as people told me to avoid blue dye for false positives Confused
Really hoping late ovulation just means late period so I can get an answer either way in the next few days. Been trying for months though, so I know which result I want haha
Good luck for tomorrow! It must be driving you mad if I'm like this after 3 days x

@Pudding01 ah I see! I'm with ya, the wait is awful! 3 days is still a long time, especially if usually like clockwork! Had you tried any other tests apart from fr? I'm not sure when I'll be testing again! Trying to prolong it haha! Probably tomorrow morning! They are very expensive!Grin xx

Thanks Smile They're usually like clockwork, last month was out by a day, so didn't think anything of it when I was a day late this month... But now it's 3 days, which I guess is still nothing, especially compared to you! But I usually know when I'm about to start as I'm always worse the week before AF lol
Just wish you either started your period on time or have a BFP instead! This waiting game drives you loopy lol
When are you next testing?
I've just ordered 15 10mlU strips from amazon for £3 from amazon, as tests are so expensive! X

Just read the thread and wondered if I can join please? I'm now late too, was due 19th/20th (my last cycle was 29 days) but had what looks like a BFN this morning with a FRES. I spent ages starting trying to find something, but think I just ended up with line eye.
No sign of AF, no real cramping or my usual mood swings. Just a warm boob?!
I did ovulate late on the 9th & 10th according clear blue, but I thought something would show or happen by now!

Advice on negative pg tests?

@kate123cl yes it is but so strange trying to hide it. Will feel more real when I hear the heartbeat or see the scan!!! How are you? Testing today? Xx
