Advice on negative pg tests?

Hey! Just looking for some experience! Has anyone actually been pregnant and took a while to show positive on a hpt? I have a few symptoms and in general feel like I could be! My AF would've been due between last Thursday and yesterday but took a hpt last Wednesday and yesterday and both show negative :( I'm using Superdrug's cheap make. I'm NEVER late for AF so feeling positive. Almost every post I've read seems that everyone tests positive before their AF is due so feeling a bit disappointed at the moment! Sad

Same as me lol!! Any other symtoms? I've got really bad backache and loads of clear CM which I'm hoping is a good sign! I've had normal AFs since being off the pill so don't think mine is withdraw?! Ah great! When's the test coming? Lol I know what you mean about dps thinking we're crazy! The amount of times mine has walked in on me poas! Lol😂🙈 xxx

Well boobs are still tingling, cramps still there, literally could of put money on being pregnant but with this digital test being negative doesn’t look that way, I was tempted to ring drs but thinking maybe my bodies going through withdrawal from the pill, although how do some people miss a pill and fall pregnant so easily??!!!
Let me know how you get on? I’ve ordered a frer so will wait and test with that Grin not going to tell dp as he will think I’m mad if I tell him I’ve tested about 5x this week 😂😂 xxxxx

@Lilly1207 Haha oh no! I got a clear positive with one of Boots more expensive own brands but it then disappearedSad Tesco's ones were ok but not clear!

@Kate123cl mine was a cheap one from bodycare. Think it was ‘clear and simple’ or something like that. There’s nothing clear and simple about it 🙈

What is the rule? If it's still negative 18 days after ovulation it's game over?

If your hormones are high enough for morning sickness they would be high enough to give a positive.

You might just be having a funny cycle though it does sound like you are pregnant. How annoying.

Wow reading through your thread I feel like I’m in the same boat! 5 days late, 3 cheap tests all negative! I’m usually like clockwork. Lots of symptoms... all so confusing!!

I’m so confused.. purchased a clear blue digital test and it said not pregnant 🙄 not sure what’s going on, I’m convinced I am, although read instructions and they aren’t sensitive so that’s a waste of money 😠
What are we going to do? Keep worrying about a ep!!! How are you feeling? Xxx

@Rose2887 I've never used the amazon ones! Not a lot happening this end! Still absolutely no sign of AF arriving or even wanted to arrive! Sure I'm experiencing morning sickness as this morning I was so nauseated I had to get off of the bus!!
I know what you mean re buying them, it feels quite awkward! Lol especially if you keep going back to buy more Grin what sort of cramps are they? AF type ones?? I had the same happen to me yesterday with disappearing line! Such a tease! Xxx

I’m going to scrap those amazon ones as I don’t think they are sensitive enough or even work! @kate123cl, what’s going on your end?? Anymore testing?
I’m going to buy one today.... don’t you hate buying them, you hide them incase you see someone you know 😂😂
Woke up this morning with these cramps still.... what on earth are they? I don’t remember having these with dd Confused
When the urine went along the strip it came up then it disappeared.... I had one of those heart racing moments 😂 xxx

Oh wow! How strong was the line?? Grin
Still no AF which I guess is a good sign, ton of symptoms! I've worked it out in roughly about 8 days late for AF. Read loads online about certain people not even showing on urine tests and some people don't test positive until 2/3/4 weeks late! Think I'm clutching at straws!Sad xxx

I took a cheap dip test this morning saw two lines and then it disappeared!
Any af? Maybe testing too early? Xxx

Hey @Rose2887 I think cramps are normal?! You're describing all the symptoms I have lol. My boobs aren't sore they're just very full and heavy! Haha 'stock' that must've taken a few wees lol! I'm not too sure about ovulation sticks, I've never used them myself just always worked out on a calendar! I think testing on Monday is a good idea! Agree that the Tesco's ones are blurry! I got that line yesterday using a boots oneSmile I haven't tested again as my partners at work and the nearest shop ages away (I don't drive) and it's pouring with rain lol. Think I'm going to, as well, test again on Monday! xxx

Hey @kate123cl Nope... last night I had these strong cramps...expecting to wake up with af and instead boobs are super sore and have got bad indigestion Confused not sure it’s normal to have these strong cramps anyway so maybe af is coming??? Done ovulation stock yesterday and it had a faint positive line... which everyone says is normal and always has a faint light lind done another one with fmu and not a hint of one....
will be testing on Monday if nothing happens.. I’m so confused!!
How are you feeling??? Have you taken anymore tests??
I think next time I test going to use clear blue as those Tesco ones are a bit blurry Xxx
