Who’s TTC a Christmas Baby. March 2018

Not that I specifically want a Christmas baby. But my LMP was the 20th March so that means, going by a 28 day cycle, if I fell pregnant this month, Baby’s ‘estimated’ due date would be Christmas Day!!!!!!!!

It’s the first month that I’ve felt ready to start trying again after a miscarriage and my cycles haven’t been completely regular.
Ranging from 27 - 30 days. So I’m using OPK’s and Temping to try and pinpoint ovulation.

Should be ovulating within the next 4 days.

Anyone else actively trying this week?

Cakelaur haha I have no idea.
I was like that last time I fell pregnant. Was POAS every day for a week just to watch the line get darker but after everything, I just don’t feel the need too.
I know it’s because I’m nervous and even though the line was there this morning, it still hasn’t quite sunk in. Probably because I’m worried that if it does sink in and I get excited, that it will all end in tears again.
God, I am so depressing about it all aren’t I. I want to jump for joy at how lucky I am but I’m really holding back.
Is that normal?
Do you feel like that after your loss?

Thanks @Cakelaur just excited I am actually ovulating had good news regarding my eldests primary school place so fingers crossed for a lucky weekend

Got my first ever peak on my clearblue monitor this morning so lots of sex this weekend and fingers crossed it works. If not hubby has a form to go for semen analysis as we have been trying for 18 months but think it is more my crappy ovaries as we already have a child together

Thanks everyone. I’m just so nervous. And I know every pregnancy is different but it leaves such an anxiety behind when you lose one.
I am going to wait til Monday to test again. And I’ll use another FRER.
I’ll let you all know how it goes. But the line is definitely there and it showed within a minute.
I hope this is a lucky thread.

Haha just moaned at hubby for not showing an interest and he said he's quite honestly shutting himself and doesn't know what to say 😂 and that he's spectacularly excited and will go and get me a FRER. Will it show up today do you think? Supposed to have ovulated on the 29th!

I think I see the two lines on the FRER too @MagicalCreatures don't worry about it being faint, 9dpo is still v early! Maybe wait and test again on Mon and the line will be darker! Fx for you x

@Nillynally I'd test again, that sounds as though it could be implantation bleeding. Fx for you! X

11dpo here and no AF although I've felt like she is on her way all week and is due today according to FF...If she hasn't shown by Monday I'll test then. Don't feel pregnant at all though so think I'm probably out!

@Nillynally Defo frer!! Don't use anything else! I didn't show up on ICs which I used up until bfp. Took two more days to show up on that. So defo frer. Omg I'm so excited!!

@Cakelaur oh god! When do I test? Just told my husband, he would honestly be more interested if I told him my car had made a funny noise! What test shall I use? Posh one?

Goodluck everyone! According to ovia if I have conceived this month the baby should be born between 27th Dec-31st I have a regular 29 day cycle with my last AF on the 20th March AF is due in 5 days do I take a test now? I have the early detection ones only symptoms I’ve had has been heavy breasts and feeling dizzy yesterday I am not wanting to get my hopes up too much as this is only the second month ttc and it will be my first child

So I'm back. Was expecting AF on Tuesday Wednesday as I think I usually have a 26 days cycle. On day 28 (Thursday) I had brown discharge in the afternoon which in the past year or so has been pretty normal for me. It's now Saturday and I still have brown discharge. I've used 3 panty liners since Thursday (sorry TMI) and they've little got a smudge on them. Just been to the toilet now expecting to see red and still nope. What on earth is going on? Surely it can't be implantation bleeding this late? Unless I ovulated a lot later this month? I tested BFN on Wednesday. Any ideas?

I’m scared to death. I’m 9dpo exactly the same as last time but the line was slightly darker and that ended in a long horrible miscarriage.
I’m happy that I’ve been given another chance but I now have this sad view that I should never get too excited because anything can happen x

Morning everyone

So, last night my boobs started to hurt abit. So this morning, like usual I checked my bbt. I had another little temp drop. Then I read Cakelaurs post about how her bbt was all over the place and she was pregnant.
So even though I wasn’t very hopeful I decided to do a test.
I used one of my heap one steps from the internet which are very good and within 30 seconds the slightest shadow appeared.
So I cracked open a FRER and this showed up. X

Well @Monopo1y I was getting negatives until 15dpo, when I finally got my bfp!!! So don't lose faith!! I had really low temps (around 36.55) where normally im around 36.8 when pregnant. And at 12dpo and 13dpo I had a dip above coverline but down to like 36.35. So weird charts can bring bfps!!

I might add that day 26 I did an opk and it was negative though so I really don't know!

Taking another look at it, the only other possibility could be cd 26. That would make me 9dpo. My temp never dropped as low as the earlier temp shifts but that would explain the lack of af.

Thank you :) that was between 15-18 days ago! So that makes me think I'm unlikely to have ovulated (despite having high temps ever since) then as I only got a bfn this morning and surely that should of have shown up on a pregnancy test by now?

I continued to do ovulation test daily from cd 19 though and didn't have even a faint line!

MrsY87 Thats really funny. A psychic told me and and my auntie on separate occasions that there was going to be another set of fraternal twins (1 boy and 1 girl) born Into the family within the next 18 months. That was 3 months ago. Fraternal twins run in my family so I’m looking forward to eventually one day finding out if she was right. Whether it’s me or not.

Monopo1y Welcome to the group. I would say that if your temps are staying high then yes you’ve ovulated and surely you would get AF.
How many days past the temp shift are you that you had cd17-19

Hi, any advice please.

BFN this morning so feeling rather negative.

I was rubbish at testing on opks this month so not sure if or when I ovulated. Temp shifted cd 17-19 and has been high ever since which is why I tested this morning. I also did opks From cd 19 (as I usually have very long cycles) and they were all negative for a week before giving up again.

I have very sore boobs and have had usual af symptoms all week.

Anyone have any ideas? Can you get af if you didn't ovulate?

@Help201602 last time I had bfp it picked it up on 11dpo, this time round I kept testing negative until 15dpo. So obviously late implantation.

@Mimilicious013 it's going ok. Had blood tests all come back good. So I'm a little more relaxed. Picked up our puppy today so now I'm trying to focus on him and forget about the baby until the 6 week scan!
