Who’s TTC a Christmas Baby. March 2018

Not that I specifically want a Christmas baby. But my LMP was the 20th March so that means, going by a 28 day cycle, if I fell pregnant this month, Baby’s ‘estimated’ due date would be Christmas Day!!!!!!!!

It’s the first month that I’ve felt ready to start trying again after a miscarriage and my cycles haven’t been completely regular.
Ranging from 27 - 30 days. So I’m using OPK’s and Temping to try and pinpoint ovulation.

Should be ovulating within the next 4 days.

Anyone else actively trying this week?

I’m still on flashy face opk getting bored of them now, hope tomorrow is solid! Always waiting to do something when TTC

I’m now thinking that too. I had another rise this morning back up to 36.61
So let’s hooe I’m now in the 2WW. I think this Is going to be a long cycle x

Hello everyone! Hope I can join!! Ttc#1. Cycle 4 and I’m 6 or 7dpo. So every cycle I’ve had since ttc I have been sure I’m pregnant, symptom spotting is a curse 😩. Every month ends in AF arriving! So far this month, I’m feeling nauseous as of this evening and feeling like burping and this feeling goes away when I eat(yes I know it’s only 6dpo). I have pain in my thighs and lower back like I’m getting AF. Now before trying to conceive I only got these pains 2 days before I was due on, but it feels like my body is playing tricks on me. Also people say it’s your mind playing tricks on u, trust me it’s not in my mind.. I can feel these twinges and dull aches and back pain every month! Fingers crossed for everyone! It’s so hard because we haven’t told anyone we have started ttc so no one to speak to apart from dp, but he’s abit clueless 😂

Magical I think your chart looks as if your ovulation could be taking place on CD17 - you had the OPK+ as well as a dip, so if it rises again then you'll know. I am pretty sure it's impossible to get an OPK+ after ovulation so maybe assume you're uber-fertile now and get busy!

My temp has now spiked up and FF has changed my ov date to the 2nd so I'm 4dpo now. Thankfully we dtd in the 3 preceding days plus ov day and 2dpo so we've given it our best chance!

@MagicalCreatures thank you, I only had a couple of hours sleep when I get home so that I’d still be able to sleep properly tonight, which means it wasn’t long enough to properly take my temp, I took it still and recorded it but I just made a note about it and then at least tomorrow morning should give a more accurate reading.

I’m in that couple of days where it’s annoying because it’s too early for any symptoms and I get impatient, but also nice because the hope that this is the month is still there.
Fingers crossed for those testing over the next couple of days.

1 week until AF is due...

Not feeling any sort of symptoms so far - don’t know if that’s good or bad 😂 blood test on Saturday- maybe I should have let them test for hcg 😂

Hi. Yes I’m using fertility friend. I’ll update my chart from this morning.
I weirdly had a little drop in temperature and then a really strong positive OPK yesterday so not sure if I did ov with the last temp rise and whether to expect another rise in the next couple of days.
Has anyone experienced a positive OPK shortly after a rise in temps. I thought OPK’s predicted ovulation and shows a few days before. So confused.

I did read up on something about temping when working shifts. I was looking up about testing at different times and whether it makes a difference but I can’t remember what it said (eye rolling) my brain can’t handle too much info at one time. But there is information about it on google.

Can I join in? I think I'm 3dpo today. Would give an EDD of December 21st if I remember rightly based on my cycle. I'm 23, TTC #2, had a miscarriage in early February. DD is 4 next week so I'm really keen to get going with #2 haha!

We DTD every day during the supposed fertile period this month - so annoying that there might not be an egg anyway!

I'm 10dpo today.
We got our bfp in November after almost a year of ttc. And lost the baby in Jan. So it's the third month since mc. Was hoping it was 3rd time lucky

@Nillynally how you doing today? Bfn for me sadly.
@Knittinggurl trust your bbt (as long as your take it same time every day) you can get an LH surge and not produce an egg. Keep testing opks because you're likely to get a second surge.

10dpo... bfn here, not likely to change but my temps are sky high (more likely due to the progesterone cream rather than pregnancy)

Can any seasoned tempers help with BBT advice? I use Clearblue OPKs and got my peak at teatime on CD 15. I thought I was OV on CD 16 or more likely CD 17. Now it's CD 19 and my BBT is still as low as before - does that mean I'm not OV this month but just had the LH surge and no egg? This is only my second month temping but last month my temp went up immediately so I'm feeling a bit disheartened

Hi, can I join? If we conceived my due date would be christmas day. We've been ttc for #2 for two years now, so not full of hope but there's always a chance!

MagicalCreatures I saw your post about your temps. Are you using fertility friend or an app to help with the analysis? FF identifies ovulation when you have three consecutive days of high temps so it could be that the temp rise is your 1DPO and you'll just need to wait a couple of days to see if it stays high. Looks promising!

Day 28 14dpo. Normally 27/28 day cycle. Period type cramps since yesterday. Even had to take ibuprofen at 4am was sure would wake up with af but nothing all day. I normally get pain and af starts right away. Last tested last night bfn.

Currently 5dpo and on a random night shift tonight, it’s a one off and will be back to days after so I’m just wondering about temping? I took it as normal this morning, but tomorrow do I take it when I’ve got home and had a few hours sleep or will the difference in time from when I would usually take make the reading useless?
