@chocaholic1. I was convinced that I would be one of the lucky ones and conceive first cycle. Clearly that didn’t happen and the frustration has kicked it. Even although it’s only cycle 5 and I really shouldn’t be complaining!

I’m finding that dtd revolves around ttc now. Rather than being spontaneous!

bubblybrit · 26/03/2018 20:33

@owlpatrol. Yeah I think it’s the main thing that is frustrating me at the moment. Want to enjoy life whilst ttc but I’m feeling as life is on hold due to this journey. Will be totally worth it once baby arrives though so shouldn’t really complain....but I will anyway xx

Chocaholic1 · 26/03/2018 20:13

@bubblybrit dd is 18 months and I know that we were very lucky to conceive her first month and I knew if we tried for another it wouldn’t be as easy...but...I still deep down hoped to get that bfp first time again so was really disappointed when I didn’t. But it’s only cycle 3 so still hopeful! Fingers crossed you can get work sorted around ovulation.

Annoyingly dh started to feel better towards the end of fertility week and got his enthusiasm for dtd back however I found myself being like ‘well there’s no point now’ Grin

Owlpatrol · 26/03/2018 19:43

@LookingAtTheStars89 oooh sounds positive though? Cycle length sounds better? I've come down with a sore throat today Sad

OP posts:
Owlpatrol · 26/03/2018 19:42

@bubblybrit yeah same here we've put off decorating, holidays, booking the wedding, both financially and whether we get pregnant or not it's just so annoying

OP posts:
bubblybrit · 26/03/2018 19:16

@LookingAtTheStars89. Yeah ttc is really frustrating. I’m worried about booking a summer holiday ‘just in case’.....there is a great job opportunity but scared to apply as the mat leave is poor and only pays a decent rate once you have been at the company for a set period of time. I’m kinda getting fed up putting a lot of things on hold ‘just in case’....

Owlpatrol · 26/03/2018 18:26

Forgot to add that my boss managed to "guess" that I was ttcing today it felt really odd them knowing and I don't know what to do because I've been trying that long that to me I don't care but they reacted pretty oddly and I feel like I've been pigeonholed into a ttc woman category Confused

OP posts:
Owlpatrol · 26/03/2018 18:16

@Kentishgal same here and same here twice. I'm not enjoying work but been putting off finding a new job for a whole year due to mat leave pay but then I'm stressed in my job

LookingAtTheStars89 · 26/03/2018 17:25

@Owlpatrol Fairly sure I'm out too as the dreaded insomina started last night and I don't feel tired anymore.

@bubblybrit If I ovulated when I got ewcm then I am about 9dpo. This TTC is a real drag :-(

bubblybrit · 26/03/2018 15:14

@LookingAtTheStars89! On day 3 of flashing smiley face!! Will need to hop on to the April bus as AF/BFP due 11th. How’s you?

bubblybrit · 26/03/2018 15:13

@chocaholic1. My DH is getting rather grumpy with all the comments recently! I’m keeping my fx this month as I’m away again in April and really think I’ll miss my ovulation date. Trying to move some things around but it’s quite difficult to do in my line of work! How old is your DD? It must have felt amazing conceiving her on your first try!

flawal123 · 26/03/2018 14:31

AF is 10 days late and every test i take is BFN! I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing still. If I'm pregnant it'll be amazing but if not I wish it would hurry so I can move on to the next cycle!

Kentishgal · 26/03/2018 13:14

I just want AF to hurry up now so we can start a new month! I'm convinced that, for me,
it's stress that is stopping us falling pregnant; it was the same with our daughter. Really difficut to tell yourself to relax though isn't it!

Owlpatrol · 26/03/2018 12:53

Not much to report here fairly certain spotting will start tomorrow. Most symptoms have eased now Sad

@owlpatrol. How is it going? x

@bubblybrit How is it going? x

I'm on cd 33 now. I haven't tested as on my day 21 test I hadn't ovulated. If AF hasn't shown by Sunday then I will test.

DBoo · 26/03/2018 09:06

Think I'm out. Af due today took an Asda test which I've found to be reliable this morning and nothing.

I'm usually spotting a good few days before now so my body is being a bell end!!!

Keiki · 26/03/2018 09:03

AF was due on Saturday but hasn't made an appearance yet. I'm not terribly surprised as I had a terrible lactose intolerant bowel upset a week ago. I have no symptoms of anything though, oddly. I also only have one test in the house and am unable to go shopping for any more until next week so I want to use it wisely, and would rather have AF than BFN, so I'm not sure when I'm going to test.

Kentishgal · 25/03/2018 21:23

I don't blame you owlpatrol! Fingers crossed for you woody.

Woody096 · 25/03/2018 19:34

Congrats on the boos! Sorry to hear it was a bfn @owlpatrol, but there is still time. Only 4dpo so nothing to report!

Owlpatrol · 25/03/2018 12:57

@Kentishgal aww lovely we are walking with the dogs and stopped for a cheeky gin

OP posts:
Kentishgal · 25/03/2018 11:17

I agree - would prefer to know sooner rather than build my hopes up! Although once I know it's negative I just want af to arrive so the next month can start. I still tested again today in the hope a line might appear! I'm off for a walk too - taking dog and daughter to the forest!

Owlpatrol · 25/03/2018 10:29

How's everyone doing? Af due Wednesday so expecting spotting to start at some point! I think I'm ok with being out this month (if I am) it's definitely easier testing early and softening the blow. Off for a lovely walk today and try and enjoy some of this spring weather!

Owlpatrol · 24/03/2018 16:48

@RavenPaw congratulations lovely lines!!

Well my cm hasn't dried up yet but just normal amounts. Boobs sore but cramps eased. I only tested on a ic test this morning so I suppose I could still get a positive but it was really v v negative

OP posts:
RavenPaw · 24/03/2018 11:42

Thank you! I still don’t believe it. I’m going to buy some more tests and try again tomorrow and see if it’s the same. It’s a shock because I was expecting my af. Just goes to show you’re not out even if you have af symptoms.

Tefiti2 · 24/03/2018 10:25

@RavenPaw that’s a BFP! So pleased for you xxx
