Bobo I'm on day 11 and usually ov
On day 14 :)

Boboelephant · 26/03/2018 22:09

Haha @Claire138 absolutely! The ninja method! 🤣
Good luck @weasledee!! I'm not quite there yet. I think I have longer cycles than you. I'm on cd10 and usually fw starts about cd12 with ov day 17. When are you due to ovulate?

weasledee · 26/03/2018 22:01

Evening ladies, my app and pee stick say it fertile time again!
Is this the same for you too bobo ? As we were at a similar point last month? :)

Claire138 · 26/03/2018 21:47

@boboelephant might not be a bad idea, especially towards the end of FW when it’s more scheduled than romantic 😂🤺...you never know, ninja technique might catch on if I get a BFP this month 🤣🤞

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 26/03/2018 20:50

@ek78 I'm hoping they sort everything out quickly for you. Having to go to the EPU because they don't accept private scans is so shit (I wish they did accept them but I guess they need to double-check Sad). I really hope you're holding up ok (as well as you can be anyway).

Boboelephant · 26/03/2018 20:23

@Martydog haha I do that too! And cringe every time! 🤦‍♀️
@ek78 yep I imagine I'll be getting about 4 scans in the first trimester too. It's so hard not to be anxious about it!
@zarala hahaha!!! 🤣

zarala · 26/03/2018 20:11

@Sloeberrygin thanks yes it is really annoying- found out about the MMC on2nd March and only just had the ERPC on Wednesday. Just want it to be over!
Waiting for 3 cycles already feels like it's going to take forever!

@Primrose16 that's not a bad response from your GP- hope he comes through. Did you have 4 MCs after your LO? They told me 3 consecutive is when they start testing- but as I said before mine agreed after I'd had my second for blood tests and US of pelvis- I forgot to mention that before...

@Llondbol I love the fact your husband finds signs !!!! I think that's the sweetest thing!
I'm sorry you suffer from anxiety- my younger sister has since a young age and I know how debilitating it can be. I hope you didn't get offended when I said to just say that to the GP- I have found that going through these MCs has really brought me close to anxiety / depression - the fact that we have absolutely no control and seemingly no solutions to these things makes them so deeply traumatising

Lol@Boboelephant Sexy high school ninja FW! Now that would be a fun one to tell the grandkids (or robots or whatever the future holds....)

ek78 · 26/03/2018 19:15

@bobotheelephant It was a private scan after a panic over a bit of brown discharge. I wasn’t offered an early scan but I didn’t push for one either. In the event of becoming pregnant again I will be there at 7 and 9 weeks!

Beck1988 · 26/03/2018 19:13

Thanks @boboelephant can't wait to start testing! Used them with my lil
Girl but not on this last pregnancy. Hopefully won't have to wait to long for a positive opk

Martydog · 26/03/2018 18:59

@Llondbol I'm as bad as your husband, I keep going on Facebook and every time I see one of those lists of names about who it be pregnant or have a baby I check to see if my name is on it. So far this year I'm having twins and will be pregnant this year and finally be pregnant in march. Not long for the last one to be proved wrong yet.

Boboelephant · 26/03/2018 18:51

@ek78 I'm glad it's helped you a bit. It really is just so shit. Yeah I had to wait a week too, then booked in the ERPC the day after the re-scan as I'd already waited 8 days. Was it a private scan you had? Did they not offer you any other scans earlier? Ahh it's just crap. So sorry again.

brodiee · 26/03/2018 18:42

@Llondbol what a lovely rainbow 🌈 I really hope that is a sign for you!

ek78 · 26/03/2018 18:21

Thanks so much @bobothelephant. Everyone on here has been so nice. It has really cheered me up on a rubbish day.
I'm going to the EPAU tomorrow morning. They want to rescan and then I'll take it from there. I'm guessing they will want to wait a week before going ahead with anything, which was the way last time.

Boboelephant · 26/03/2018 18:13

@Primrose16 I'm glad you got a sick note. I hope it's enough for you to get some rest and recuperate. It is so dependent on the GP. I was lucky to get a nice one even though I haven't had 3 MC so it can happen. I hope they are able to help you.
@Beck1988 good luck with the opks. I start using FMU on about day 10 as it's the most concentrated. I pee every hour so can never build it up during the day! Then when I get EWCM I do about 3 a day. My lh surge is short so i'd miss it otherwise. I buy the cheap ones!!
Fingers crossed @Llondbol! 🌈

Boboelephant · 26/03/2018 18:04

@Hayleyfx sorry again. Enjoy your holiday!
@Pumpkinpatch0000 sending hugs. The milestones are tough.
@MrsMac1489 so sorry your cycles are being so screwy. And you must be incredibly brave helping all the other mum's to be.
@Brodiee welcome to this lovely group but I'm so sorry for your loss.
@HidCat I hope af comes soon!!
@Claire138 haha ninja!! Perhaps you can pretend you're in high school? Could spice up fw!! 🤣

Boboelephant · 26/03/2018 17:34

Oh @ek78 I'm so sorry!! I remember you too and being so happy for you when you got your bfp. Sending you hugs and I hope you have some good support. I went for an ERPC too as my body was not recognising the loss and as soon as I knew the baby wasn't alive I wanted to be able to move on. The waiting was too much for me. Whatever you do I hope it's as smooth as possible.

ApplesTheHare · 26/03/2018 17:19

Primrose16 I've got everything crossed for you. The sick note sounds positive. Hopefully you can use the time to relax and take it easy.

Claire138 · 26/03/2018 17:07

@primrose16 that’s sounds fairly positive. Glad he agrees you can’t continue like this. I hope he comes back to you with more positive news next week. How do you feel?

@llonbol I do the exact same thing. On 1st January I saw a double rainbow, so I have my fingers crossed it’s a sign that 2018 will be our year 🤞

Just wondering if anyone has experienced a cyst on their ovary? My last ovulation was really painful...more painful than it’s ever been, the pain then continued and there has been a constant dull ache in that area since. Not sure what it is but google (I know, I know) is leading me down the line of potentially a cyst. Any ideas?

Llondbol · 26/03/2018 16:52

4dpo... is it a sign? 🙊🌈 My OH is getting his signs from the car!! The day we found out we'd lost the baby, he heard "Bye Bye Baby" on the radio driving to work. Yesterday he kept seeing "Baby on Board" signs... so he's convinced this is our month. I'm enjoying his optimism!

@zarala I hope you get some answers - glad you don't actually suffer from anxiety because it's absolutely horrible; I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

TTC after pregnancy loss - Thread 18: Christmas cake for Christmas babies
Primrose16 · 26/03/2018 16:34

@ek78 I had medical management too. I decided to stay at home, it was horrible but glad I was at home.

I have a sick note until the 6th. The gp didn’t know if I could have tests. He is asking colleagues what the protocol is. He said 3 then support (which I have had 4) but because I carried a child to full term he doesn’t think I’m entitled. However he agrees that I can’t keep going on like this. He is going to contact me within a week with a answer.

Beck1988 · 26/03/2018 16:05

Just ordered some ovulation tests! Was gonna just leave it but couldn't help myself! 🙈Think I should be ovulating around this weekend so will start testing as soon as they get here! Is it best to check in the middle of the day? Read it wasn't good to do it first thing in the morning? How many do u guys do a day? 😬

Sloeberrygin · 26/03/2018 15:24

@zarala it must be so hard with things dragging on. The limbo tome when you're waiting for your cycle to regulate is just rubbish.
@Kingy2910 fingers crossed for a sticky bean.
@hayleyfx really sorry for AF. At least you have your holiday as a good distraction. hope you have a wonderful time.
@MrsMac1489 I'm really sorry you're having such a tough time. And being a midwife too, it must be so hard. After my mc I had to go back into hospital briefly and I saw one of the midwives who I'd seen a few times in the previous few weeks when I was having some complications with the pregnancy. She was so kind, didn't bat an eyelid when I burst into tears on her, and just commiserated with me about how awful and unfair the whole thing was. I obviously have no idea whether she'd experienced mc before but her kindness and compassion made the biggest difference to me, and is one of the things that stands out when I think about that time, even though she has no idea how much she helped me. I'm sure, like you say, everything you're going through will reflect in how you relate to women experiencing loss.
@ek78 and @brodiee sorry for you losses Flowers

Claire138 · 26/03/2018 14:41

@ek78 I am so sorry to see this! Hope you have plenty of support! I had an ERPC so no advice on medical management but if you have any questions on ERPC, ask away!

@primrose16 it can be so dependent on what kind of gp you get. Some are just arseholes no matter what you do. Just be really honest with them about how you are feeling and don’t leave until you have said your piece and you feel you’ve done everything you could. Let us know how it goes!

ek78 · 26/03/2018 14:20

@zarala Thanks for the thread tip! Loads of good suggestions there. Really helpful.

NoCatsHere · 26/03/2018 14:19

ek78 I had medical management at about the same stage as you for my last mmc and it was fine. I went in the night before and then got the doctor to insert the pessary for me so I didn’t balls it up. Then I waited, about lunch time it started and it was over a few hours later. It was a little grim at times but personally for me felt cathartic to pass it myself. I was allowed home that eve. I ate a lot of chocolate drank loads of tea and sat in the ward bed reading the crappiest magazines I could find. It was ok and I’d opt for it again if I had too.
