Sorry @catren your comment before mine hadn't loaded when i last posted! It took me a while but i definitely see something! And you too @twittlebee FX for you both !! Baby dust xx

Pinklily1 · 14/04/2018 11:16

cariad, sorry to hear your AF has arrived. It sucks. I’m probably being dense but what’s HyCoSy? Hope the house is nice!! Are you moving area?

Pinklily1 · 14/04/2018 11:15

cat,I see a faint line! Are you going to test again soon? twittle, that’s confusing, maybe test again tomorrow with FMU?

Still no AF for me. I know it’s imminent and I just wish it would hurry up arrive and then go away so we can crack on again next month.

I’ve jumped onto the May bus too, thanks for sorting twittle.

YassQueen · 14/04/2018 11:00

I'm a bit confused. I thought AF had started but it's just brown discharge (TMI alert). There's a fair bit of it so not spotting so I don't think it's implantation bleeding, but I had this for a couple of days with the pregnancy I lost in February. I don't want to get my hopes up :(

Cariad2017 · 14/04/2018 09:59

Oooh CatRen and Twittle - I really hope this is IT for you. Do keep us posted.

AF is here (on time, as predicted), bringing cycle 20 to a close. Off to distract myself by viewing a house. We may well have to skip next cycle as I’m having a HyCoSy on CD13 (which is often ovulation day).

sodababy2 · 14/04/2018 07:06

I'll come over and join you @YassQueen!

Thanks @Pinklily1 - yes, lots of DTD. All perfectly timed - as usual.

@CatRen27 I definitely see a line! Will you try with a FRER? Fingers crossed for you.

@TwittleBee - looks like it's the start of your BFP! Fingers crossed for you

sexnotgender · 14/04/2018 06:29

Nothing planned yet twittlebee, see what happens!
Day 29 here and no sign of AF... really need to find a chemist!!!!

TwittleBee · 14/04/2018 06:24

Morning all. Hope weekend shaping up well?

CatRen27 I can certainly see something for sure! Didn't have to do anything either. FX this is it for you!!!

sexnotgender Ahoy there! (Sorry couldn't resist the use of Ahoy at mention of sea haha) happy birthday for 2 weeks time. Anything planned?

So used a FRER this morning and a pink line appeared within 5 minutes although it does look skinny in the pics... I am only 7dpo too tbf

Thanks for replying mumma its weird, it looks so much thicker and coloured in person but ill just have to wait and see tomorrow morning. I've bought some frers. Probably nothing as usual but couldn't help get excited to actually see something there.

Posted too soon!
I’m overseas and don’t have ready access to a chemist to get a test, really need to find one!

sexnotgender · 14/04/2018 05:44

I’m in.
Age 35 (36 in 2 weeks)
DC 14 (previous husband)
Cycle 3

Day 29 of cycle, which is usually 27 days

Mumma100 · 14/04/2018 00:03

@twittlebee that’s hilarious! I’ll remember that next time!

@catren27 I can see it, it’s hard to see if it has colour, looks like a shadow to me but I can see it! Fingers crossed it darkens up in a few days

SJB90 · 13/04/2018 23:46

Ah sorry @yassqueen hope you have a fantastic holiday though and FX for next time!

Has anyone got a BFP yet this month?? Whose next in line to test x

CatRen27 · 13/04/2018 23:43

Hi ladies sorry for being quiet the last few days. So i did another test this morning (12dpo) and even my dh can see it. I said "it even has colour!" to which he replied "are you ascribing it a personality now?".. Thoughts please..

Sorry AF arrived for you too soda, come and join me on the TTC#2 May bus? (I haven't seen another one anywhere yet) - May

YassQueen · 13/04/2018 23:23

AF arrived. I thought I'd be gutted but I'm not really, I'm pleased it'll be done before we go away in 10 days and I can deal with a couple more months waiting if it comes to that - I'm biased but spring is the best time to have a baby Grin

SJB90 · 13/04/2018 20:35

@pinklilly I think anything that is not as dark as the control line or darker means negative. I think ive read that LH is likely present all the time but there is a surge before ovulation and apparently can happen before AF too x

Pinklily1 · 13/04/2018 20:33

Also Soda, I think my AF is imminent, so I will most definitely be here next month.

Pinklily1 · 13/04/2018 20:31

HI ladies

So sorry to hear about AF Soda. Did you manage to DTD often in your FW? Fingers and toes crossed for next month.

I have literally no idea where my cervix is position wise. I did once try and check when we were TTC DD but it freaked me out a little bit.

With opks, I know a faint line means it is negative. However, are you ever meant to get no line at all, so for example, immediately after you've ovulated, would there be no line at all or a faint line? For no real reason other than TTC induced crazy, I did one today, when I am meant to be I think 7/8 dpo and got a faint line. It has just confused me! Via says another 14 days until fertile window, and 6 days until pg test.

TwittleBee · 13/04/2018 09:53

Mumma100 tends to be higher because of how the lil swimmers get wooshed out and fly towards the back I guess? Tbf they are super fast and if you have good fertile cervical mucus then they'll ge there no problem surely?

Oh also! I was watching this documentary when studying biology which was about penises ( Blush will lways remember this video lol) and it was saying how penises are shaped to scoop semen out of the vagina (why the bell-end is shaped the way it is) - the thought being that if a female had been ejaculated in by a rival then the next male can scoop the semen out before depositing its own. Not sure how much this applies to now considering spermies can reach the cervix in 5 minutes... But this cycle I shared that information with DP and so he didn't thrust anymore once he ejaculated lol!

Mumma100 · 13/04/2018 09:44

@twittlebee oh I didn’t realise that, thought it would make sense to be lower so soerm didn’t have to travel so far! Maybe I missed it then, although it was pretty open. We will find out in 2 weeks!

@geegeegirl I think I’m going to wait, last month I was testing from 7dpo and drive my self crazy, and spent so much money on tests! It didn’t let theb my period was something like 12 days late. I have brought loads of internet cheapies though which I know are hit and miss but at least they are cheap. I’m going on a hen do to marbs in June so I think that’s helping me feel a little less inanse about needing to get pregnant as well

TwittleBee · 13/04/2018 09:31

sodababy2 oh no Sad I am so sorry! FX for next cycle lovely xx

sodababy2 · 13/04/2018 09:14

AF for me today. Gutted Sad

Thanks for your support this month. Hope I don't see you on the May bus!

Geegeegirl · 13/04/2018 08:03

@sodababy FX that you are testing too early.

According to Clue (app I use) I should have ovulated yesterday. We will probably DTD this weekend as well to try and cover any late Ov.

AF due 26th. I really hope it doesn't arrive! I am going to try not to test or symptom spot this month as for the last 5/6 cycles I have driven myself crazy in the week leading up to AF. I will probably need you all to remind me of that in the days to come!

Good luck to everyone testing soon and hope the TWW passes quickly for you too @Mumma100. Are you planning on testing early or waiting for AF to be late?

TwittleBee · 13/04/2018 06:15

SJB90 you you could probably test in 7 days but best to wait 10 as then you'll be 14dpo which usually gives 99% accuracy (if ovulation was correct) - I was reading this thing about how roughly 20% of women think they're period is late are wrong because they haven't calculated when they ovulate correctly or they didn't realise it the luteal phase that has a constant length not the whole cycle.

Mumma100 if you see anymore EWCM then DTD just to make sure! In regards to cervix positioning, usually it's high and hard to reach during fertile window. Maybe it hasn't got round to closing and firming up yet?
