Just got a +OPK. 5 days earlier than usual! Bloody glad we DTD last night, had a sneaky suspicion it was gonna come early as had my acne break out a lot earlier (usually 3 days before Ov) plus all the EWCM! TWW here we come.

TwittleBee · 06/04/2018 16:03

Happysbno4 hello! I think we can all sympathise that its harder to actually find time to DTD this time round

Happysbno4 · 06/04/2018 15:30

Hello All
Sats:
Age 38
TTC#4
Cycle 5
first with DP
AF due 17/4
My older kids from 1st marriage in the house, not making this easy.😣

I'm getting concerns about my age health. Last month just before af I had leaking boobs now waiting on breast exam. Although think this is due to raised Prolactin? Regular 26-28 cycle.

Hoping for some magic fairy dust this month as I'm not getting any younger!!!😃

TwittleBee · 06/04/2018 15:14

CatRen27 oh don't! how did you even manage it, bloody terrified of them

CatRen27 · 06/04/2018 15:02

This is slightly off topic but i just had to single handedly take out a massive spider (I'm in Australia) that was crawling on my wall. I'm not even sure he's dead! Aaarrrrggghhhh

Urgh internet cheapies are rubbish may I literally wouldn't bother! Never got a positive with them in my chemical cycle but got good strong FRER positives plus digital positive!

TwittleBee · 06/04/2018 14:49

mayago I am hoping an odd cycle might mean a lucky cycle for you

mayago · 06/04/2018 14:32

Holding out on the FRER yet soda. I found some cheapies with a decent sensitivity in the cupboard.

Not holding out much hope - I've gone terribly pessimistic this afternoon. A bit unusual for me, but it's turning out to be an odd cycle Confused

sodababy2 · 06/04/2018 13:24

That's exciting @TwittleBee!

Was it a FRER you tested with @mayago? Fingers crossed it's too early - every pregnancy is different and this one could have implanted later?

CatRen27 · 06/04/2018 11:31

Exciting twittle! Congrats! You'll either have the pregnant glow or the champagne glow, either way its a glow 😉

And sorry mayago for getting the wrong end of the stick and for the bfn. Boo! Hopefully better news tomorrow

TwittleBee · 06/04/2018 10:34

mayago thank you! so excited! Sorry you got a BFN today, super hope you are just too early despite having a line with DD at 10dpo, every pregnancy is different they say

TwittleBee · 06/04/2018 10:33

newmama2018 ah yeah good point, isn't it meant to be every other day they get fully restored.

mayago · 06/04/2018 10:24

newmama that's pretty impressive! I really hope this is your month after all that!

No spotting here CatRen, just broken out in spots! It's quite unusual for me though. Feeling rather strange, but tested today (10dpo?) and got a BFN so who knows what's going on. I had a nice line at 10dpo with DD...

Twittle congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Pregnancy glow would be an absolutely fantastic addition!

Bambamber thats a rough situation, and I'm not sure what I would do. It could be a rough pregnancy, but it would be worth it? Flowers

newmama2018 · 06/04/2018 10:02

@TwittleBee the escaped spermies seem to have picked up the dried blood 😆 I'll see how he feels tonight. He has low morphology (3-4%) so I'm not sure how often is good for us to DTD.

TwittleBee · 06/04/2018 09:57

newmama2018 ah well if you feel fine then surely no reason to hold back tonight either?

newmama2018 · 06/04/2018 09:56

@TwittleBee it might have been a mistake but my consultant said "crack on" and it didn't hurt at all. I'm back at work today too so it's not like I'm ill either. I'd have been back yesterday if I could have been.

TwittleBee · 06/04/2018 09:53

Gillian1980 welcome! and good luck! FX that is implantation bleeding for you.

newmama2018 haha you managed it then?

We DTD last night, FF says Im fertile now too so FX this is our cycle! Just booked our wedding for 29 May THIS YEAR and I would love to be all happy with pregnancy on that day

newmama2018 · 06/04/2018 09:35

Sooooo.... dtd last night. Will probably avoid tonight though 😆

CatRen27 · 06/04/2018 07:39

@bambamber thank goodness no infection, but still it must be pretty rough and tiring. The acupuncture didn't really hurt, it was a sort of weird feeling, and I felt really relaxed. If they start and you hate it you can always tell them to stop, so might be worth a go? You can get some acupuncture on the NHS (mine was through NHS at the hospital when I was preggers) but not sure if it's for TTC rather than pregnancy related.

OP posts:
Bambamber · 06/04/2018 01:33

@CatRen27 I certainly am, but luckily no signs of any kind of infection so that's a relief at least. So they have put me on a low fat diet for now and got to go back in a couple of weeks and if I'm still in considerable pain then she said the best option will likely be removal. I'm not sure to be honest, I did mention to the consultant that I'm TTC but she didn't seem bothered. I think because I'm otherwise healthy and no signs of other complications they would just keep me on an extremely low fat diet until I gave birth if I was pregnant. I have heard of women having it removed during pregnancy but I think that's more extreme cases where there is complications. I'm kind of in 2 minds with it. 1 half of me thinks just keep TTC and we will worry about it later, and the other half of me thinks maybe it would be good to take a break, get the gallbladder sorted have treatment for my endo again and by then I may have actually started ovulating. But I don't know, I desperately would like to be pregnant but I'm honestly scared I wouldn't cope with being in so much pain on top of looking after a young child while pregnant. I'm already struggling to pick up my DD sometimes. But we will see, it will come right in the end.

Did the acupuncture hurt? I have always heard good things about it but have always been too scared

@newmama2018 good luck whenever you decide to go for it!

newmama2018 · 06/04/2018 00:39

@CatRen27 @Bambamber I will see what OH wants to do. I have stopped bleeding, the pain is minimal and I was busy today doing the garden, washing, shopping, softplay duty even before my 24hrs were up. All my incision points have stopped bleeding and my neck/shoulder pain from the co2 has subsided. Although after a 52hr labour when DS was born I was home within 8hrs and shovelling snow off the drive and getting the dinner on 💪🏻

The consultant said "crack on asap" when I asked about ttc again but not sure he meant "tomorrow night" cracking on 😆 OH will probably chicken out as he is terrified of hurting me

Gillian1980 · 06/04/2018 00:09

Hi all, can I join you? 😊

Age: 38.
DD: 2.8
Cycle: 2

Was on the pill since dd was a month old and came off it in February to try for number 2. Took 3 cycles with dd, but who knows this time round.

Had spotting today and some cramping so thought it may be implantation.... but that could be wishful thinking! AF due on 13th.

CatRen27 · 05/04/2018 23:28

Hey @newmama2018 I also was told to wait a couple of weeks before having sex after my lap. I was in considerable pain every day for those two weeks and I was noooooowhere near dtd. I was also bleeding for most of that time (plus the dye). I think maybe give your body a little rest to recover? And as @bambamber said, the GA is still well and truly in your system - I was in bed for a couple of days sleeping it off. But I'm probably a massive wuss when it comes to this stuff!

Hi bambamber! Sorry to hear you're going to have to have surgery, that sounds rough. Are you in pain with gallstones? If you get your BFP what will happen then? Fingers crossed for you!

We're 3dpo.. I'm already feeling the crazy setting in soda.. and mayago you had spotting?! That's kind of interesting, no...?!

Think I'll book in for some acupuncture next cycle. I had it during pregnancy with DD to bring on labour and I quite enjoyed it. It had zero effect but even then I felt it was me 'doing something'. (turns out I needed a pessary, gel and drip to induce me at DD+13... she was waaay too comfy in there!)

Bambamber · 05/04/2018 23:16

Hi ladies

Age:27
DD: 12 months
Cycles: still not here!

May not be around long, looks as though I now need my gallbladder out! So will be testing in the next couple of days and then will have to think about having a break until we know more Sad

@newmama2018 when I had my laparoscopy for endo I was told not to have sex for at least 2 weeks. It sent my cycle doolally and had a fair bit of bleeding. Give your body a little break if you can, one of my incisions opened back up after 10 days as I tried doing too much too soon. They say it normally takes at least 48 hours to fully recover from the GA alone

Pinklily1 · 05/04/2018 23:03

That’s interesting soda. I obviously meant reiki too and not reek in my earlier post!!

newmama, if I was me I’d probably skip DTD tonight because I wouldn’t want to with the pain! But totally understand you don’t want to miss the opportunity either! I’d be telling OH he needed to miss the golf though!

may, embrace the crazy!!
