Two Week Wait .... another one ....

We are TTC #2, only 2nd month of trying so it’s early days but #1 was first month and I thought I was out (turned out to be implantation bleeding) so I got around to taking a test about a week late and got an obvious positive.
This time I’m symptom spotting like a nutcase. I am due AF in 2 days according to Ovia and am having significant cramping but no sign, this is what happened with #1 so I’m getting all excited but am probably going to be horribly disappointed in 2 months!

Thanks ladies. I didn't know that about IC's. I didn't even know what IC meant until I googled it just now :) I will for sure get a FRER or CB digi sometime today.

@Pob13 Exactly how I feel. Just want it to come so we can try again...again!

Got a low ache now, but still nothing when I go to the loo. Couldn't resist testing though... BFN. Hurry up AF :(

I have always gone for asdas own after using ICs then the Digi weeks if asdas own was bfp which they always have been after a bfp on an IC.

Yeah @browneyedpeanut I agree with @dboo I think once you get a line one an ic that’s all you need as line progressions isn’t that reliable on them, Fodor frer it detects hcg From 12 and clear blue from 25, I’ve seen some good things about Asda and tescos own brand to of you want to save form money 😂.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm thinking is going on too DBoo. The only symptoms I have are a slight tingly sensation in my nipples. I usually don't get too much cramping before AF shows up either so it's hard to tell. But I have no cramping whatsoever at the moment. With DD1 I started to feel some morning sickness around 5-6 weeks as well.

I would get a frer and some CB digits if I were you peanut. The ICs aren't that reliable but you definitely have a line. It could be that your HCG is higher later in the day, I've seen on threads that that can happen too for some people.

Do you feel any different? My symptoms never really kick in till 5-6 weeks but u never know haha.

These tests are driving me mad. I took one this morning with fmu and it's lighter than the one from last night. I suppose I need to call my Dr and get checked out anyway. AF due today or tomorrow and no sign of her yet so that leaves me hopeful. Oh, and I shall get a FRER sometime today and hopefully the line will be dark enough to not doubt it. I guess I am happy but somehow in denial that I am preggers. So many months of TTC with failure will do that I guess.

If AF is coming she needs to get a move on so it can be over with and we can start again.

@Pob13 Snap! In exactly the same boat here. 2 days late. BFN. No symptoms of ANYTHING. So frustrating.

2 days late but BFN this morning. No real sign of anything happening.

@browneyedpeanut - I can definitely see something on the bottom 3 :)

@TTCNum2 - your friend sounds like a right cow. Even if you hadn't had the MC, asking you to go round and check on her baby because you're a midwife is a bit of a cheek! Not to mention the circumstances around the conception...

I'm sat here all confused. I was so certain I was out after yesterday, but AF (if that's what it was) disappeared as swiftly as she appeared. So that's 4 days of cramps and light spotting (plus a bit of heavier spotting yesterday), 2 days of lightheaded-ness and me just sat here being super confused at 13dpo.

@BrownEyedPeanut congratulations! Lovely to see that progression too - don't forget it doubles in 48hrs so you wouldn't expect much difference morning to night.

@TTCnum2 your friend sounds like a complete narcissist. I don't know what her background is when it come to pregnancy / family but to blatantly lie and trap a guy like that is wrong! As for her insensitivity with your after your MC that's poor form and sounds like she's just trying to abuse the fact that her friend is a midwife. Hope you're doing ok.

Not sure what's going on with me, bfn this morning but have a blood test on Wednesday to check for residual hcg after my MC in January so hopefully that will be right down now. Thought I'd ovulated already but blood test showed HCG at 50 last week so ovulation unlikely which puts me back at the start of TWW (maybe even longer?). So fed up of this wait (hitting week 9 after MC), was told 4-6 weeks to get back to normal. Ugh.

@TTCnum2 I got these from Amazon but in the states. They're called easy@home. Super cheap! And one box has 25 tests

And they are defo positives Brown eye!! I’ve seen other pots on Instagram with those kinds of tests and the do seem to take ages to get good line progressions so if you do a frer tomorrow it will probably not a bit darker I’d have thought, better get buying that T shirt! Where are they from? Need to stop spending a fortune on tests!
