Two Week Wait .... another one ....

Hi everyone! I am facing down my TWW (AF due 22nd of March) and thought, after looking at other threads of the same topics who are on the BFP/BFN now, I thought I would start another for those with their fingers crossed for late March BFPs.

I am on cycle 8 TTC #1, have used Preseed for the first time, I am taking Evening Primose Oil and I have the DH on Vit C. I am feeling really positive having DTD the day before and of ovulation, but can feel the paranoia and counting down days setting in. I feel all in the same boat can lean on each other as we try not to POAS :-/

Anyone in?

Just wondering if I can jump in on this. I'm not 100% on the abbreviations but will try my best. So last month my AF came 3 days early but it only lasted 3 days... Extremely light in volume ans dark in colour. Been having all sorts of nausea on and off and driving myself wild waiting as I decided to see what happens this time. I should be due AF on 27th according to my app and I'm trying my best to see if AF appears and if not I will test a few days after... Getting fed up of not knowing as I knew with my other two in the first couple of weeks. Any advice?

@TTCnum2 didn't you say it took you a while after AF didn't show up to see a BFP with your DC1?

@Pob13 Think so, cramps have upped a notch, and bleeding now. Sickness has gone. Felt like she was coming every time I went to the loo, but has taken all day to arrive.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed she doesn't arrive for you and it's implantation 😊 keep us up to date!

Hi @lala04 don't worry! You'll pick up on some of the acronyms quickly.

Here are some:
DPO: days past ovulation
FRER: First Response Early Result pregnancy test
TWW: Two Week Wait
TTC: Trying To Conceive
IC: Internet Cheapie (I just learned this one yesterday)
POAS: Pee On A Stick
MMC: Missed Miscarriage

I'm sure I'm missing a few but these are some pretty common ones.

It's my first day on here so still getting used to all the lingo! Dpo is days past ovulation right? I'm 8 days after so no point in testing yet. I hate the waiting. It literally drives me insane. I also pretty sure my boobs are sore today which means my period is on its way again 😔
I've had my 21 day blood test and I'm ovulating. Next step is testing my partner. Which he isn't too keen to do! But that'll be next week if I don't come on. I'm pretty healthy I don't drink or smoke my diet is varied. Although I do have a lot of diary! So maybe I'll try to cut that out...

lala04 that sounds really tough. Total heresay with no basis in science but people kept leaving the 5:2 threads because they got pregnant, intermittent fasting seems to go along with conceiving but it could just be that I noticed because I was TTC or a million other non-causal correlations.

Booked a Doctors appointment for next week as my body is doing some strange things. A good friend has suggested that I go and get checked out to make sure it's nothing serious.

Going to test again this weekend as my AF wasn't really AF Grin just a bit of spotting

Also @lala04 Hang in there. It took me about 18 months total to conceive DD1. I had a MC during that time too. What I did was change my diet to almost vegan but was mostly plant based. I pretty much avoided dairy but ate eggs and never ate meat (I'm a vegetarian anyway). I had green smoothies for breakfast, big salads for lunch and dinner. Sometimes I'd have a sandwich or something if I was craving it instead of the salad. I made sure to eat vegetables of all kinds of different colors. I also did acupuncture and used preseed. I am doing acupuncture now and used preseed during my fertile window.

@lala04 I took a test last Thursday (10dpo) and got BFN. Took one Friday and got a very faint line and then took two everyday to see if it progressed. Didn't really see any progression and the lines took a while to show up so yesterday I bought a FRER and it was a very clear BFP. The line showed before it even got to the control line. Yesterday I was 14dpo.
