TTC #2 - March BFPs

If you’re ttc #2 and due your AF/ BFP in March then this is the bus for you.

For my sins, I’m a bit of a veteran of the ttc circuit, and ironically if we get a BFP this month, my EDD is likely to be DS’s 3rd Birthday. Stats are as follows:

Age: 35
Cycle: 18 (without a hint of a BFP - yawn)
AF due: 15 March
DS: Aged 2

Desperately hoping to invoke the law of sod this month as we have a fertility clinic appointment on 26 March to get the ball rolling on IVF. You have no idea how much I’d love to cancel it!

It's slowly disappearing but I think it will freeze overnight. Lots of fun had! Poor DS could hardly walk in it!

@TwittleBee it's DH who is ill bless him. We're good here, got about a foot of snow so having a chilled out day at home! Hope everyone is doing ok with the weather. Had a vvv faint line on hpt this morning so calling it negative (post MC). Now I know that if I get a clear positive it's a new pregnancy but if AF shows up that's ok too.

HidCat glad your having a nice relaxing weekend and hope you aren't to ill! Stay wrapped up if it's snowing where you are. Hopefully the levels will go down soon for you and your ready to TTC again with success

Nice weekend for me so far. Hubby has been worked no today but also ill so we're having a chilled out night on the sofa. I've given up on TTC for this month, figure if it hasn't happened yet then residual hcg is still too high and no point stressing about it just yet. Still testing daily just in case though lol.

Thank you yass I feel I need to clarify I have also bunged out on food too, even treated myself to 3 coffees in town (don't tell my OH he'd be pretty disappointed!). Feeling a lot better now though. Spoke to me OH about how I'm feeling after he woke up (he's on night shifts atm) and he really calmed me down.

How are all you doing? Good weekends I hope xx

Twittle Try not to be so hard on yourself Flowers look at it this way - positive mental attitude; you are going to need all those clothes. When I have a shit day (and I've had a lot recently) I eat chocolate. I'm going to need maternity clothes without even being pregnant at this rate Wink so you're doing something positive and productive.

The insensitive comments are tough. I wish I had some words of advice for that but I don't, they're shit and it's horrible :( but please know you're not alone. We understand Flowers

@cariad2017 why I’ve only just been notified of your response I don’t know. Sorry for the delay in responding to your very informative post. I’ve already had transvaginal scan for antral follicle count and I’ve had my tubes flushed with that foam stuff to see if there are any blockages which there aren’t. I’ve had blood tests for thyroids too. All come back OK for my age. I need to get my husband test but he’s really digging his heels in. Think it’s a pride thing. I’ve since started to having some random bleeding so the Drs have referred me for some scans to check for fibroids and polyps. These never came up on scans in December so can’t see it being an issue now. They are moving fairly quickly though. Next step after scans will be colposcopy. Dr has advised we work on trying to stop bleeding for now and then come back to fertility, which makes sense. So we’ll just have to see how things go...

HidCat thank you. Haven't felt this shit about TTC yet. Just has smacked me so hard. Not even sure why as I'm only 5dpo so still in this month for sure.

@TwittleBee don't do that to yourself. You'll need them at some point! Just put them somewhere out of sight. When I feel shit I end up in McDonalds. Your method is far more productive! People do come out with the most insensitive comments without having any thought about what's going on inside. Big 🤗 XX

I'm an emotional wreck today. Think seeing my sister today who had 2 under 1 years and had no trouble conceiving either didn't help. Plus I had my dad ask me how comes it's taking me so long.

Went shopping and bought a load of new born clothes ad maternity wear. Fricking stupid of me. Feel so crap.

Got my Bfp today for #2 eek! Have ds who is 2.5 and have been trying for a while had given up hope as ds was conceived in cycle 1. Keeping everything crossed this Evan sticks

I'm not generally anxious, it's just a specific anxiety! I don't seem to have problems conceiving especially, which is in a way lucky. Just staying pregnant. So I'm both terrified of being pregnant and of not being pregnant if that makes sense!

CatRen sorry for the BFN! Maybe you did ovulate later? Not out yet! Glad you're feeling okay about it though.

My birthday is on NYD and I used to hate it, no one is around and barely anything used to be open, everyone too busy celebrating NYE etc too. But i quite like it now I'm family focused and I'll never have to work on it at least haha.

If cycles stay regular EDD will be on my sister's birthday if I fall next month haha.

@cat DD was due 10 days before Christmas but she was two weeks early. It’s not the best time for a birthday in my opinion but we aren’t going to skip a month at this point. Lots of people have Christmas birthdays and love them.

Af due today, big temp rise this morning, bfn on frer.. argh! Pretty sure at 14dpo a bfp should be showing up so I'm now waiting for af. Again surprisingly okay with all this!

Re Christmas babies, my dh is on the 21st and my edd would be 24th dec but we're still going to give it a whirl!
