2ww: solidarity & symptom spotting

Anyone else in the 2ww?

1dpo cycle 1 post-mc, AF due 20/02 - last 2ww thread I was on got me through!

Trying to follow Kwick's rules for 2ww, no hot baths / cold veg etc, and not to react to every single twinge Hmm

Can I join?! Smile Not quite sure is I'm in the 2ww yet or still ttc!! Hmm

I had my implant out in September and my cycles have been quite irregular, 29, 31, 33 then 27 days. I've been using clear blue on tests but have had 'High' fertility for 9 days now and no 'Peak'.

I'm CD16 and not sure whether ovulation has occurred. The wait is just unbearable though!!!

Thanks @ PassTheAfterEights and @jasmin93. It's so great to be able to chat to others on these threads and not to feel like I'm slowly going mad alone Grin. You never know @PassTheAfterEights, I guess symptoms for each pregnancy could be different? Jasmin, I'm sure stocking up can't hurt!
Still no sign of AF for me but temp dipped slightly this morning so suspect she may well be on her way Confused. Doctor was nice and not dismissive. Said that although it's not normal and should have returned to normal by now, it can take up to a year. She said given my age (31) they'd wait a bit longer, but if I'm still having really light periods in 3 months to go back and they'd do bloods. Really glad I've at least got the ball rolling. She kept asking me if there was a chance I might be pregnant - if only! X

I found myself buying 3 double packs of FRER, regardless that I already had 4 at home. Is this me being pessimistic or maybe I simply have the urge to POAS as soon as I am 10dpo Hmm

I still feel bloated, which is very unusual for me.
@MamaL86, how did your doctos appointment go? Did AF (the witch) show yet?

@PassTheAfterEights, stay strong! It is not long until Wednesday Smile Until then you can think of a nice surprise for your DH.

DH just said I was only complaining of feeling sleepy in the morning by 6dpo last time and I didn't feel anything more til 8. Will stop whining. Suppose potential stingy feeling could be implantation?

@MamaL86 that's great news, fingers crossed for you too & hope they have something useful to tell you. It's good to feel like you're doing something proactive - for what it's worth I had vivid dreams before and after last BFP so hope that means something for you! x

Hi @confuddledconfudle you're in good company here Smile I think the earliest I could possibly expect not to waste a FRER (and I only have one in stock!!!) will be Wednesday but feels like long days ahead!

Feeling very unpregnant this morning Angry slightly crampy tummy but no discernible backache (it was raging by 6dpo last time) or anything else really. Nipples quite sensitive but certainly not sore - then again last BFP had no change in boobs at all and seems to be the biggest thing for many. Ah who knows.

Fx for BFP's for all this week x

Just have mild cramping which I had with my first pregnancy. However my first sign with first pregnancy was really sensitive nipples Blush

Hi @ PassTheAfterEights. It's impossible not to symptom spot isn't itConfused. Having said that, I'm 10-11 dpo and not having that many symptoms. I've had the most insane vivid dreams the last three nights but that could be anything. AF due any time from now on. I'm going to the doctors tomorrow as my periods have been super short since having mirena out 6 months ago. Not sure that they'll be very interested but at least feels like I'm doing something proactive! How are you feeling? Fingers crossed this is your month Smile x

Welcome @aaronpurrsir that's a hell of a wait, we're with you all the way! Hope your symptoms mean the right thing. I'm so not above listing mine and requesting the same of evvverybody else so we can add to our pain with compare and contrast @MamaL86 @Daisymalone how are you feeling? Hope the witch stays away for both of you x @jasmin93 hope you're doing OK too and managed to distract yourself this weekend.

Still have a few familiar symptoms here but trying not to read too much into them right now (impossible) 5/6dpo at best. @Miss83 due 20/02 so also require a bit of patience and now I just want to test

One BFF gave birth to beautiful first DC 6pm yesterday, the other BFF had early miscarriage from first round of IVF - haven't told her I had the same last month as my situation just doesn't compare but feel so so much for her. Just hope we all get there in the end x

Jumping in. Just started the 2WW, AF due on the 24/2.

Feeling very crampy at the moment, which never happens this early in the month. Something definitely feels strange in my womb, I don’t know if I’m just symptom spotting though! Won’t be able to do a FRER until next Monday at the earliest. I hate the not knowing!

Feeling a bit down today. Have started spotting today which is a sure sign af will soon be making an appearance. Had been getting my hopes up a bit as have been experiencing very sore boobs, fatigue and have been feeling a little queasy for the past two days. I know some people spot before a bfp but the cycle I did conceive (and sadly mc) I had none of my usual spotting :(. Onto cycle 7 I guess...

Hi Guys, just starting the 2ww

TTC #1. AF due on the 21st

First month using OPK's. Don't know if we DTD at the right times this month so hope we are not out. OH was feeling tired Angry so we had to miss the day after my positive OPK and went for the day after. MEN!!

I feel with you! It's so crazy how every single change in your body can suddenly turn into a pregnancy symptom (heartburn, bloating and tiredness for me atm).
My friends who are not ttc simply don't get it. They say I can drink alcohol and coffee until I naturally feel off it and AF doesn't show. Feel like there is no suport from friends, neither my husband.
So glad to have mumsnet Flowers

Hope everyone's OK and not driving themselves too crazy symptom spotting. I feel like AF is set to make an appearance any second, been having cramps Hmm. I'm really trying not to symptom spot but have had what I can only describe as a really dry mouth for the past few days. Going to atribute it to all the herbal tea I've been drinking in an attempt to limit caffeine!

Ah @jasmin93 sorry you're having a rough time with it. It can't be torture can't it. I had a very very faint squinter with FMU at 9dpo visible to us but not clear in a photo, then a better squinter that afternoon. The line was visible at a glance the following day. The thing is though, I was using Glow app and it was our first proper month TTC so there wasn't much data to go on - I think I had a good enough idea of when I was ovulating from symptoms but it's only the app's best guess, based on information you give it. So it could have been 12dpo for all we know.

Try to be kind to yourself and have a rest from it - it's only the mc that has made me more cautious but I figure it's either in there cooking away or it's not and finding out about it early won't change our chances of having a successful preg this time.

@PassTheAfterEights, you had a BFP at 9dpo ??

The last couple of days, I watched houndreds of youtube videos of women testing from 8dpo to 12dpo, showing their BFP line progression.
I am obsessed and cant focus on anything else at the moment.
Does not help that my cousin just announced she is 12 weeks pregnant with her first.
Anyone else feeling like this ?

Hi to all the newbies, and good luck!

Last 2ww I had the bloating, heavy feeling / sort of cramping but not painful - just increased awareness of the area, lower back ache, heightened emotion, undentable one-sided headaches on and off and I was clumsy as fk. BFP at 9dpo.

Have it all again now but feeling sooo much more cautious. If dates are right it's early for AF but the symptoms could mean either. So frustrating!

@Fififiesta thankyou for your reply. Last month we thought we were as my boobs nearly doubled in size and were so sore but that happens a week before AF is due, turned out AF came a week early so that explains that one but this i just can not explain its not pain just a strange pulling sensation

Ta @fififiesta, a lovely bath is definitely on for tonight, no idea why I have shied away from ibuprofen as I got reasonably pissed last weekend 😂 I just feel that then it might not have even been fertilised, but if it was, it would be implanted by now so best to be safe?! Silly really.

Mel sorry to hear you're poorly have you tried long hot baths in a very steamy room? They are all that helps me. I think that worse thing about ttc is behaving as if you are pregnant by taking care with alcohol, medicine etc (I know a lot of people don't do this and have no issue with that but I do it) and then finding out you are not pregnant.

I'm 11-ish DPO and have had the most horrendous tension/sinus horrendous headaches all day since 9DPO. Paracetemol not touching them but don't want to take ibuprofen as well, which is what I usually would do. I occasionally get them but usually mid-month so of course I'm reading that as perhaps they are hormonal and therefore.... No other symptoms at all, though we all know no symptoms are in fact a symptom to spot! 😂

Mama I'm CD25 and have had pelvic pain mainly on my left side for 10 days now. I have bad cramps like AF is coming though had them since Monday but they are getting worse every day. I keep going to the toilet expecting to see her grand entrance. I really hope it's a good sign for you though!

Fed up with it even though this is cycle 1. I am impatient! Have pretty much counted myself out this month as have had cramps for days and also bitten DH's head off over nothing twice this week. Thing is I dont normally pay attention to my symptoms so I dont really know if I normally get cramps for days before AF. I also have a weird heavy feeling down there so I had a good bawl to DH this morning about it not being our month.

If AF is coming she'd better get here soon! Angry

Don't want to get my hopes up but since 2dpo i have had a weird feeling (not a pain) in my lower left groin/pelvic area
Yeaterday 3dpo this was joined by lower back pain
Today is the same has anyone else had this at all and possibly got a BFP at the end of it? Thankyou x

This time i used one step ovulation sticks to stay on top of my cycle.
Since yesterday i feel bloated and experience cramps.
I guess that is a sign for my egg being released?
Dtd yesterday and the day before. Fingers crossed!

Af is due on 20/02, the week I visit my family in Germany.
