Anyone else in the 2ww?

1dpo cycle 1 post-mc, AF due 20/02 - last 2ww thread I was on got me through!

Trying to follow Kwick's rules for 2ww, no hot baths / cold veg etc, and not to react to every single twinge Hmm

@PassTheAfterEights sorry to hear about your MMC xx

cookiesaurus · 14/02/2018 11:01

@PassTheAfterEights really hope you get a BFP! It's really hard not knowing for sure! Test again in the morning - or this afternoon, this evening and tonight! 🙈

I swear TTC makes us a little crazy! I've actually kept my POAS habit a secret from my DH as he'd think I was irrational - he'd be like "10dpo is still very early - just wait until the day after your period is due like it says!!" Easier said than done!!!

Rmad6716 · 14/02/2018 11:00

Thanks @PassTheAfterEights !

I will just wait and seeSmile.

My other symptom was struggling to get my jeans buttoned this morning so maybe more than likely AF! I always thought it would be like the movies where the women just throw up one morning and then that's it lol (naive I know!) but im realising so many people hardly get symptoms.

Good luck to all Thanks

Congrats to all BFP's Flowers so pleased to see all your visible lines!

I am 7dpo today. Could not drink my morning coffe for the first time.
Symptom spotting at it's finest Confused

Happy Valentine's to everyone Flowers

@Rmad6716 it could be either, it's certainly possible to conceive straight away - very hard to tell between symptoms of AF and early preg and without any cycle data to go on the best thing you could do at this point is test. FRER seem the most reliable but they're expensive - worth looking for a deal on Amazon. In my experience anyway I didn't get any "symptoms" as such of my body adjusting to not being on the pill - my body felt normal. Only developed the symptoms you're having ahead of AF or BFP. Good luck to you!

Ahhh fab fab news @melamine and @cookiesaurus no doubt about those lines!! Delighted for you both x such lovely update to wake up to!

No progress here boo now trying to convince myself it's just early and not random leftover hcg from miscarriage and steadfastly trying to ignore the three FRER's sitting next to the loo *nods

hello and good luck to the newbies and all still waiting to test! x

Hi ladies, thank you all for your posts. I now feel slightly less crazy as been symptom spotting like mad.

AF due today/tomorrow i’ve had tingly boobs but not sore and also feeling slightly nauseous if I don’t eat for a few hours but that may just be the stress of it all. Today i’ve Had normal type period pains so given up hope a bit...Planning on testing on Friday if AF is late.

Congrats Melamine Smile

Rmad6716 · 14/02/2018 10:22

Hi guys,
I'm very new to the TTC thing. I came off the pill at the end of January and had no bleeding at all since. Very much thinking I'll need to wait till at least I'm in a regular cycle till I would start testing etc but over the past few days I've been feeling nauseas when I've been leaving home to drive to work (so in the morning) then sometimes if I need to pee during the night I'll get out my bed and feel a little sick. It's probably unrelated totally but obviously I'll probably be paranoid that it's something else but not going to get my hopes up! Last night my nipples were stinging and almost to the point they itched. Most recent symptom over the past 2 days is a weird pulling feeling in my left side as low as where I would feel period pains. Did feel a bit crampy over the weekend too and was so sure AF was coming but nothing. Could this all just be my body adjusting to no pill after being on it for so long? I would be pretty shocked if I ended up pregnant as I was almost 100% sure it might take a while.

vickywood3 · 14/02/2018 10:04

Congratulations @melamine so excited for you 😍😘

@cookiesaurous - I can definitely see a very faint line, can’t wait to see the line getting darker 😊.

Still trying not to symptom check but it’s soooooo hard not too xxxx

cookiesaurus · 14/02/2018 09:53

Thanks! I'm 10dpo today. I only started using OPK this month and I ovulated 3-4 days later than the predictions in all my apps!!! No wonder it hasn't worked before!

@Daisymalone keep trying!

This month I embraced the glass of grapefruit juice a day - I hate grapefruit - who knows if it worked or not!!

Melamine · 14/02/2018 09:48

Congrats to you too cookie! It’s def positive! Thank you everyone. So exciting.

Daisymalone · 14/02/2018 09:47

Wow this is turning into a really lucky thread for everyone (except me!!!) fingers crossed for loads more bfps 😀

AaronPurrSir · 14/02/2018 09:44

There's definitely faint lines there @cookiesaurus! How many DPO are you?

cookiesaurus · 14/02/2018 09:26

Congratulations!! @Melamine 🎉🎉

cookiesaurus · 14/02/2018 09:26

@vickywood3 I think I got a BFP. But it's so faint I want to wait another day to see if my hcg levels increase!

I've done three (oops🙈) but they all gave a faint line! 🤞

I don't want to tell my DH until I know for sure as otherwise he'll get really emotionally invested just to feel disappointed - no point in both of us feeling like that!

Baby dust to everyone! It is Valentine's Day after all!! xx

Congratulations melamine!

vickywood3 · 14/02/2018 08:16

I know @AaronPurrSir, why do we do this to ourselves. I have everything crossed for you xxxxx

Melamine · 14/02/2018 08:15

So an update on my posts earlier in the thread...no doubt here!!

Thought I’d share my spotted symptoms in case it helps anyone.

I dried up almost completely - you usually hear about increased CM, I’ve been the opposite!
Horrible headache over the front of my head for 5 days solid.
Moody & emotional, but not extremely, just a little bit more than usual PMT.
Vague feeling of being aware of my womb but no real cramps or twinges.

It was all very mild apart from the headaches & if I’d got a BFN I’d not have been surprised as most of the ‘symptoms’ can be put down to being hyper aware & overthinking things! But you never know. Good luck everyone else!

AaronPurrSir · 14/02/2018 08:05

@vickywood3 I’m getting a bit obsessed, which isn’t good! This is only my second cycle TTC. Last month I had no symptoms whatsoever so I’m clinging onto everything this month. I’ll only end up really disappointed when I get a BFN or when period arrives, but I can’t help myself.

Why do we do this to ourselves Grin

vickywood3 · 14/02/2018 07:55

@AaronPurrSir - I am so bad for symptom spotting. I have literally become obsessed with it and I know it’s not good. It’s like, bloated, nausea, cramps. burning boobs, oh dear I dropped a glass, gotta be a pregnancy symptom 😂😆

Hope everyone has a good day today and baby dust to you all x

AaronPurrSir · 14/02/2018 07:13

Woke up at 2am and hurled myself out of bed as I had the overwhelming “going to throw up” feeling. I am not a sicky person! I never puke unless I’m really drunk Grin

The symptom spotting continues!

vickywood3 · 14/02/2018 04:30

@cookiesaurus how did the poas go? How many days Dpo are you? X

cookiesaurus · 14/02/2018 03:53

@vickywood3 I just find it so emotionally draining! I'm awake in the middle of the night when I usually sleep no problem!! 🙈

I've just poas!!

Hi @Rachie1986!

vickywood3 · 14/02/2018 02:16

@cookiesaurus I know, you are absolutely right. I literally am thinking anything is a symptom. I need to stop ASAP - plus on a medical level, I absolutely know that it is to early to detect symptoms. @Rachie1986 it is my #4. I never had to try for the other 3, so TTC is new to me. Xxx
