2ww: solidarity & symptom spotting

Anyone else in the 2ww?

1dpo cycle 1 post-mc, AF due 20/02 - last 2ww thread I was on got me through!

Trying to follow Kwick's rules for 2ww, no hot baths / cold veg etc, and not to react to every single twinge Hmm

Hi hoping you all don't mind me joining. No idea where I am in my cycle as I MC last month. TTC#1, cycle 3, CD 27 but no idea on length or if I've ovulated (came off pill in November) I've had cramps for the last 2 weeks been doing OPK but no definite as I've had a few that looked positive but days apart presuming MC has messed me up. (TMI sorry but the last 2 nights during sex my right ovary has been sore/painful when deep unsure what this means if it's a symptom or a cyst or something else) I think I'm weeing more and my nipples feel different but i could be going insane. Goodluck all xx

@vickywood3 that’s still pretty early! You’re not out yet! I think I was 12dpo before i got a faint line on a clear blue with DD.

Sorry to those who’ve had the witch turn up Sad fx for you all next month.

I had a tiny bit of brown shooting yesterday morning in my knickers, nothing to see when I wiped. I would’ve been 5-6 dpo yesterday which I though was too early for implantation bleeding, pretty sure I didn’t ovulate any earlier. I never spot or bleed in between periods and have always been regular with them. After 9 months of trying (I know it’s hardly anything compared to some) I really hope this is our month and if so that it sticks after MC & chems.
Had some strange sort of cramps, not low down like AF cramps and sharper but could’ve been something to do with my stomach as opposed to my uterus. God knows!

AF is due next Monday/Tuesday so will probably do a FRER at the weekend.

@vickywood3 Not over until AF arrives - it's still early. Fingers crossed! I've started spotting so I think that's me out - had a good cry and now trying to get back to being optimistic for next month.

Sorry to those of you having a rough time. It's so frustrating and such an emotional rollercoaster! Fingers crossed for next month.

No AF for me yet, but temps dropped again and boobs stopped feeling so tingly, so not feeling too hopeful now.

AF arrived this morning so Defo no hope of late ovulation etc :)
Back to "day 1" again.... Sad

Yep think in future (or hopefully not) I'm just going to use the FRER a couple of days before AF due as there isn't much point doing them extra early - it doesn't make much difference other than satisfying curiousity haha, especially if they aren't very reliable. At least as soon as I know my cycle a bit better!

@salsadip we are twins! Grin I’m 32, so almost right Wink and yes, this will be no1. Fingers crossed for both of us! I’ve felt a little light headed, my main symptom has been very mild period like cramps in my womb from a day or two PO. I normally only start cramping 1-2 days before AF so that was definitely new.

I’ve been reading reviews on the internet cheap tests and loads of people saying they aren’t very reliable and can be pretty shit. Has anyone found the same? I’m going to use a FRER in a few days rather than keep relying on the cheapies.

Just to add, my only symptom is feeling more light-headed than usual! Is that a normal symptom?!

@AaronPurrSir... I am also on TTC cycle #2 and due AF on 24/2!! Are you also 31 and TTC #1? I got a massive BFN this morning so was feeling very disheartened till I saw your post. It's nice to know that there are people as desperate as me to pee on things all the time! I'm going to wait until 24th now I think. Or maybe 21st... 😂

Hugs to you Owl. It is so shit but i remind myself i have a lovely Dd which a lot dont. She out the blue said to me today i am lonely because i am an only child. Where she learns this i have no idea but i felt stupidly guilty (nursery i assume - she is 33 months)

AF due on the 26th but have terrible lower back ache and my breasts are very achy which i normally only get 2-3 days before so who knows. Had small amounts of spotting around ovulation too but not holding out hope after 14 months of trying. DH and i have tentatively agreed that this is our last month of trying and we will just accept that DD will be an only child. I fell pregnant so easily with her so it has been a very confusing and frustrating time and each month the age gap grows and it is reaching the limits for us.

Still the same here for me ladies, slight brown discharge when I wipe and the cramps....
I think it's AF to be honest.....
But not out yet so I'll cling to the tiny bit of hope I have! Grin

Thanks for your advice @passtheeights I'm going to keep testing every day. I like you got a faint line at 9dpo and solid at 11dpo with my chemical. Just hoping ovulated slightly later this cycle which is why I'm showing BFN currently. Will update tomorrow with the next text currently stockpiling from amazon

No none at all 9dpo and af due Friday/Saturday but it could be as late as Monday (early ovulation this month). I do feel like tugging and pulling in my abdomin but it also could be in my head or something I get every month and not noticed. I have been having vivid horrible dreams. I definitely don’t get them every month. At my daughters dance competition gunna hold off testing till Saturday earliest xx

@loulou82 same situ although a couple of days ahead (chem last month, symptoms for the past week but series of essentially BFNs) - firstly sorry, know how you must be feeling. WRT the FRER's, they're up to 65% effective from -6 days so as early as CD22/23/24 ish dependent on normal cycle length. But lots of ladies have only had BFP on day of missed AF or after so the % accuracy varies somewhere between that 65 and 100 over the coming week, I guess. My last BFP was squinty at 9dpo and clear by 11dpo, was only guessing on ovulation based on symptoms and normal cycle this time as the early mc muddied the waters a bit and looks as though we have not been lucky. Everything crossed for you and if not this month then next xx

@imnotposhjustquaint thank you, read yesterday - was a bit low and didn't MN much but it helped clear my head. I too had very quick BFN post mc so that theory doesn't make a lot of sense, now assuming conception but no implantation this month - same squinter this morning, too faint to even photograph. AF due in 2 days, one IC left, think I'll save him for March!

@vickywood3 how are you doing? Any developments?

I’m holding off til Tuesday now, I’ll be 12DPO then so a test should be fairly clear either way. Used a couple IC’s the last few days and had BFNs on them.

Hi everyone, joining if that's ok.

I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle and on my new cycle am now CD23 and around 10dpo.

I'm testing like a lunatic every morning and getting BFN each time but I've got cramps and that milk nipples in the cold feeling if you know what I means.

When should I be expecting to see a real result on a FRER?

Experienced light red spotting when wiping last night. Thought my period started early (?) But stopped already. Implantation bleeding at 10dpo?

I usually never have Brown spotting but did last time for 3 days before AF started heavily.
I am tempted to test tomorrow morning with FMU even though I counted myself as out already....why are we doing this to ourselves Angry i have more self control when it comes to chocolate.... Cake

It may be that implantation actually took place a few days ago. That's why it's brown spotting as it's not fresh bleeding- it takes time to pass through the cervix etc. I've done some reading on it today as I'm the same! Been having brown spotting since 7dpo and today I'm 9dpo. Had cramps too. Xoxo

weasle I had 3 days of brown spotting before AF arrived this week, sorry hope it is better news for you
