Had pale but definitely there line on FRER yesterday afternoon, came up within a few minutes. Did another FRER with first morning urine this morning and the line was barely there, much much paler than day before (I probably would have just thought it negative if I wasn't REALLY staring at it under a bright light!) and Clearblue digital was negative 😢 I'm 13dpo. Anyone ever had positive test in afternoon and negative next morning and still been pregnant?? So worried it's a chemical☹️

I have had the same and unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy.

It’s not over until your period arrives, keeping everything crossed for a stronger line tomorrow for you Flowers

I agonised for days over the tests when this happened to me. As hard as it is, it doesn’t help. It’s a waiting game and I know it feels horrible.

I hope you get a decent outcome. Happy to chat on PMs if you need to vent Flowers

Thanks for your honestly TheCatPaws, that's what I'm afraid of 😢 Thanks for the info Bursting, I'm pretty sure it wasn't an evap (I know it's not that clear on pics but it's definitely pinker and came up quickly in real life!) but I know even then it doesn't mean it will stick. Argghh Daisy May it's so hard isn't it?! I'm impressed you can wait til Sunday to re-test, I don't think I'll be able to hold out til then! Keep me posted and fingers crossed for both of us! xx

This happened to me and unfortunately, I started bleeding the day after it turned negative. Hopefully this won’t be the case for you, but figured I should be honest.

Hi, It can be really confusing sometimes. I know some tests state they can test for hcg really early but it’s different for everyone. We all have different cycles, ovulation and implantation times. I believe it’s from implantation that the hcg hormone really starts growing. So depending on when you implanted, there may not be quite enough hormones in your urine to detect yet.
If you got a line yesterday, it could be an evaporation line. My friend had this. It’s very faint but definitely there. Sadly she thought it was a positive and like you, The next day took another test expecting it to appear darker but saw less.
Don’t loose heart though as until you get your period, you can still easily be pregnant.
The first response tests are more accurate than clear blue in my opinion. On test packets it will state the number of hcg that can be earliest detected. Smaller the number, more sensitive the tests. Most expensive tests are not necessarily the best. Superdrug tests are really good too.
Try again in a couple of days if your cycle is usually 28 days. If a faint line shows in a couple of minutes, it should be positive. Best of luck x

Hi @RoseGoldEagle
I've just had the same thing! Tested yesterday afternoon and pale line and this morning nothing.
I'm going to wait until Sunday to test again
I'd say just test again in a couple of days and hopefully your levels have gone higher
Fingers crossed for you!
