Anyone just starting the TWW..?

Hi all,

Just started the 2WW (I think) as I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday/today based on Flo & the bloatedness I’ve had...just wondered if anyone was at the same stage as me and how they were feeling about it all? This is TTC #1 for me xx

Haha, I have no idea @dragon!

It is tough trying to fit all these extra sessions in when we both have full time jobs, but we’re determined to give ourselves the best shot possible! I think I ov’d Thurs too, although the other app I use said Tuesday, so we DTD Mon, Wed & last night just to be on the safe side! X

Ah milly I’m glad you are happier. This ttc business is stressful stuff!

happy where have you both got the energy 😆 I’m sure you’ve covered your bases. Your best chance is to dtd on the day of/-1 day before ovulation. But it’s hard to keep track! I’m not sure when I ovulated because I’m not tracking temps but I think Thursday.

Haha, well tired or not, we still DTD, so I think he was just trying to make me do all the work Grin I think I’m around 2DPO so the waiting can officially begin!

Pleased you’re feeling better today @milly, hormones have a lot to answer for don’t they!

Mind if I join you ladies? Have enjoyed reading and now have plucked up the courage to post! Ttc #1 cycle 1 so just getting to grips with everything. Think I only ovulated day 22 or thereabouts so only 3 days ago. Used sticks just to get my head around what was happening in there as didn’t have af for ten years on the pill. Not expecting anything this time around but still hasn’t stopped me googling everything and wondering about it all the time! Good luck to everyone!

I think I ovulated Thurs, but as I’m not temping and this is my first cycle, I’m keep panicking I’ve missed it somehow & therefore keep badgering DH into another sess. He just told me he’s tired Shock Grin maybe I need to give him a break now. Been DTD every other day for 10 days, that should be us covered shouldn’t it?

Oh, @Milly, I feel for you, Hun. You’ve been through it by the sound of it, so it’s only to be expected that you have days where you feel emosh. Don’t be too hard on yourself xx

Now (hopefully) on 3dpo. I’m an emotional mess! Keep expecting af to turn up but I think this is a side effect of ovarian drilling and my hormones being kicked into touch. Cried giving one of my line reports good feedback today. Professional.

Did a IC this morning dragon but BFN. The more I think about it the more I think I’m more like 6-7dpo. I don’t think I’d have carried on getting EWCM for so long after OV.

So I’ve had another positive opk this morning, how strange! Slightly lighter than 2 days ago but still as dark as the control.

Can I join in too?! I’ve actually no idea what dpo I am as I didn’t use OPKs this month. I had loads of EWCM for a couple of days a couple of weekends ago so thought that was it but then about 3 days later I had another few days of EWCM so I might have ovulated later than I think.

I’m reckoning either 11dpo or 6 dpo....really wish I’d done OPKs lol. Trying to chill out about it this month but not having much luck! I’ve been having reflexology too so hoping I see some improvement to my cycle lengths with that.

FX for BFPs for everyone!!

Please can I join you all for my third tww? Currently 4dpo (based on +OPKs over weekend). First month of actually trying to dtd at most fertile times but starting to worry/stress that it might take longer quite a while longer than we (I) naively expected! Spent way too much on FRER last 2 cycles so ordered some ic for next week. It's our 13 year anniversary next week (been together since we were 16) so would be a lucky surprise but that's probably wishful thinking...lots of luck and baby dust to you all over the coming weeks!

Hope I think LP stays similar each month, so if you ovulate late your cycle should be longer. I think it’s more problematic if you ovulate too early in the cycle.

I’ll prob start testing from 10dpo. Who am I kidding.. it’ll prob be from 6dpo!

Oh bless you, @hope, although no judgement here; I know I’ll probably be exactly the same! Maybe hold off if you think you can, so any positive results will be really clear for you...and enjoy knowing they’re in the drawer just in case you can’t resist!

This is only our first month of trying, so not really sure what to expect, just trying to relax and not overthink it if I can (easier said than done!). Fingers crossed this is a lucky thread for us! X

@Hopehope20 I use onestep ones off amazon, they're cheap enough but I had a stash of those, some cheap ones from home bargains and some FRER so if I get a positive on a cheap one I can confirm it

I think I ovulated late (which is a worry in itself in terms of short LP) but because of that I don't think anything would show up on a test for a while now. What tests do you use?

@Hopehope20 I'm terrible for symptom spotting too! I'll probably start testing 8dpo I'll test every other day, think I go a bit test crazy though
