Anyone just starting the TWW..?

Hi all,

Just started the 2WW (I think) as I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday/today based on Flo & the bloatedness I’ve had...just wondered if anyone was at the same stage as me and how they were feeling about it all? This is TTC #1 for me xx

@ATP1000 😂 it's so frustrating isn't it!! DP has been really poorly with man flu bless him. How long do you think you'll wait to test? I'm 6DPO today and my FRERs are glaring at me.

@JuniperKane Sorry you're in the same boat! I'm trying to have trust that everything will work out as it's supposed to. Baby or no baby. But hopefully baby!

So much for not testing, only 7 or 8 dpo and I've already got 2 BFNs on the cheapie sticks! According to the app I use AF is due today but as I ovulated so late in my cycle I'm hoping that's not the case as it would be a very short luteal phase.

Well its a BFN for me today. Im going to try and wait until AF is due/late (5 more days).

@daisymay25 I’m not sure....I’ve got loads of cheapies so might start tomorrow. I know it’s too early but I can’t help myself! I think af is due around the 9th. I got my last bfp 12 dpo. 12dpo this time would be Tuesday. When are you testing?

@Penny31 tell me about it! I'm 9/10 dpo but I think AF is due in a week (if she turns up this month) I'm trying to keep myself occupied! When will you be testing?

Hello, can I join please? I’m cd17, 3dpo I think. Got positive opk on Tuesday, think I ovulated on Thursday.
@rosieposie we only dtd once this week too, day after the positive opk and used pre seed. I work away from home during the week but took the train back on Wednesday because of the opk!
I’m 36, TTC #1 and on cycle 2.

I actually think it’s a sickness bug happy! Projectile vomiting still. Hopefully a one or two off!

@Dreamycat I have the same feeling, the not knowing is hard, but I think the sense that it hasn’t worked this month is worse

Hmmm, that’s strange @dragon. Are you feeling okay?

Looking forward to the POAS results in the morning, fingers crossed for you all. My bleeding had stopped, so I’m trying to not be too hopeful, but also thinking that much have been IB as still 6 days before AF due & 9DPO...here’s hoping! Xx

@eatingthoughts Yes, it would be number one. We haven't even been trying long (I only stopped my contraceptive pill in August) so nothing to complain about really! I suppose I worry because I held off on TTC for several years (partner really wanted to since 2014). Maybe I've left it too late. Going to have a bath now and try and forget about it for a bit. DreamyCat are you ttc nr1?
I know it's hard not to be negative knowing that getting pregnant is not so easy and you don't know what to expect. Some couples get it right the first time, some have to wait longer which is unfair but mother nature is never fair is she.
You'll get there!

I'm feeling a bit down. My intuition tells me I'm not pregnant this month even though we did everything right. I wish I could just know one way or another whether a baby will happen for us. It's the waiting and uncertainty that gets to me. Sad

We were dtd once before ovulation for both of my pregnancies so it's quite possible to catch the bean the first time round!
I've had weird pains today and more cm but not having my hopes high although can smell like a dog, asked my husband if he had a shower lol. The problem is the bloody progesterone that gives us the same symptoms as pregnancy!!!

rosie I only dtd once for my DD - on the day of ovulation. Timing is everything!! A day before ovulation is as good timing as it gets.

penny I think increased cm before af is quite normal something to do with increased progesterone from memory?
