Hi all,

Just started the 2WW (I think) as I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday/today based on Flo & the bloatedness I’ve had...just wondered if anyone was at the same stage as me and how they were feeling about it all? This is TTC #1 for me xx

I can see something on there too dragon. Eek!

seven201 · 04/02/2018 07:08

Dreamycat, I'd go back to the gp if I were you. I think the next step would be progesterone, but I think the gp probably can't prescribe that without a gaenocologists (I can't spell that word!) recommendation. Maybe the b6 is working already though. Also, I'm taking vitamin c as I read that's meant to help absorb the b6.

Mimilicious013 · 04/02/2018 06:19

sorry @dreamycat, really hope it's not the start of af. l'm 11dpo and have terrible pre-af pain, so just waiting on the witch now

Mimilicious013 · 04/02/2018 06:17

@happy and @mrzE, that is sounding promising. rooting for your bfps

Mimilicious013 · 04/02/2018 06:16

l can see something @dragon, fx fx fx

Dragonandthewolf · 04/02/2018 06:13

@happy this is the test however the line is thin so I’m thinking evap. Why did I run out of FRERs?!!

Anyone just starting the TWW..?
Dragonandthewolf · 04/02/2018 06:05

Thanks @dreamycat. Sorry you think your out :( I’ve got a couple of really good ttc books I could look if there’s anything recommended for lengthening LP? Books are taking charge of your fertility and it starts with the egg.

Welcome @newbies!
@MrsE I’ve been nauseous for the last 2 days although actually ate a proper meal last night. Not got a clear bfp yet. I’m only 10 or 11dpo though. Fx for you!

MrzE · 03/02/2018 23:45

Ladies! Help I'm still only in my second week (if my maths is right) of my TWW and I feel like pants. Last night I started to feel really sick when I went to bed. It didn't go until I fell asleep (no actual sickness) felt fine this morning until about 12, then feeling sick came back, then it went again after about 45 minutes, then it came back. I've been feeling like this all day. I have been trying to eat but not over done it. Can't think of anything I've eaten that's done it either.
I just wanted to know really, if anyone can relate? Is it too early to be a symptom? I did a test on Thursday which was a BFN and I'm not planning on testing again until AF is due/late which is is in about 5 days

ATP1000 · 03/02/2018 23:38

I’ve just ordered a few fertility/ conception books off amazon, seeing as I’m thinking about this all the time I may as well read some books too! I saw a reference to the Baby Making Bible and that linked to Taking Charge of your Fertility. They both have good reviews so I’m giving them a go. Just thought I’d pass it on! 🤓

DreamyCat · 03/02/2018 23:06

@seven201 I've just started on the b6 too! I think my luteal phase is about 7-8 days at the moment 😭 Think I'm going to speak to my GP again. Best of luck to you & thanks for sharing your experiences with me.

seven201 · 03/02/2018 22:50

I don't think it was as it was just long enough at around 10 or 11 days I think back then. What was a problem to begin with was that I had no idea I ovulated so late. At first I didn't use any opk's, then moved to internet cheapies for a few months and NEVER got a positive, it was only when I splashed out on clearblue advance that I discovered I ov'd so late. I'd tried temping but that didn't work for me.

My cycles are shorter these days (except for this month but I do think maybe I have a couple of random long cycles a year) so I was panicking that my luteal phase is only 7 days, but it seems it's not that short. I've been taking vitamin b6 and vitamin c to try and lengthen it, so it could be that that's worked straight away, but seems unlikely.

Do you know how long yours normally is? From my limited research it seems as though as long as it's 10 or above it should be long enough.

DreamyCat · 03/02/2018 22:23

@seven201 I see you are TTC number two! May I ask if your luteal phase was an issue before? I've been worrying about mine a bit.

seven201 · 03/02/2018 22:07

That does sound very similar dreamycat. Fingers crossed for you - It's not over yet! Although I feel the same, I really don't think it's happened this month for me. Good luck!

DreamyCat · 03/02/2018 21:55

@seven201 Hello! Welcome. We are on a similar cycle this month. I ovulated late in my cycle too approx day 25 and am now 8dpo (ish). Think I'm out for this month though, I have a short luteal phase and have a feeling AF will be here tomorrow! Hope you get your BFP soon!

DreamyCat · 03/02/2018 21:51

Sounds promising @HappyThoughts7 and @Dragonandthewolf !! Good luck Smile

seven201 · 03/02/2018 21:35

Can I join?

I'm ttc for number two, cycle number one but I have a short luteal phase. I ovulated really late this month (day 25 of a 32 day cycle) but am 9 days post ovulation (which is good luteal phase wise at least and I think it's probably just a random long cycle). I caved and did a frer this morning and it was false. I'm NOT going to test tomorrow. Bet I do though!

Last time I was ttc I literally only bought one pregnancy test in the whole 9 months we were trying and only used it when I was 5 days late (I was convinced I wasn't pregnant) but this time I think I'm going to go pregnancy test mad!

HappyThoughts7 · 03/02/2018 20:43

Oooo @dragon, have you got a pic? Fingers crossed for you!

I’ve had some cramps today, but the spotting that I hope was IB has completely stopped since about 6 last night. Trying not to get too excited, going to try and not test til AF late. Xx

Hmmm after a day of still feeling nauseous I think I see a quinter but on a blue dye test but I don’t trust blue dye ones!

Penny31 · 03/02/2018 18:54

Prods boobs. Yep a bit sore but could be normal!

LovePinaColada · 03/02/2018 16:26

Is anyone else testing on Friday? Need to stay strong this week!

DaisyMay25 · 03/02/2018 16:25

There's still time for BFPs!
Does anyone else find themselves prodding their boobs to see if they're still sore? (Mine are I just checked) or is it just me...?

@Penny31 I'm testing tomorrow but I'm not hopeful I think my body is just broken. Let me know how you get on in the morning though

DreamyCat · 03/02/2018 16:02

Looks like I'm out for Feb. Spotting suggests AF is almost here. Sad

DreamyCat · 03/02/2018 15:51

@rosieposies Or did you mean what did I use to know when I ovulated? I used an opk for that so I only have a rough idea when I ovulated as I haven't been keeping track of my body temp...

DreamyCat · 03/02/2018 15:48

@rosieposies No one of those cheap pregnancy sticks (the blue and white sticks). I think I paid about £5 for 25 opks and 10 pregnancy tests!

ATP1000 · 03/02/2018 12:57

Hi @rosieposie, i think I’ll test one week today (next Saturday) still too early but I’ll just about make it through the week. I’m really bad for symptom spotting! Last month was loads of symptoms and a BFN so I’m trying to stay rational that really I won’t know until it’s closer to AF....but that’s easier said than done!
I’ve got ICs and FRER, using opks this month really helped narrow down the window, takes some of the stress out of working away from home.
