@rosieposies My cycles have been a bit all over the place since August (stopped taking the pill end July) so it's hard to tell what "normal" is! I never used to spot but I think I may have last month or the one before so it could just be AF! I'm also feeling sick but that's probably just from lunch lol - way too early for morning sickness!!

@lovesrunning I agree with Daisy, it does sound like test time. And congrats on the marathon! My DP is doing a half marathon end of Feb and he's constantly training at the mo (save for a weeks break for man flu).

@dreamycat You're not out yet!! Do you usually spot before AF turns up? fx you get your BFP in the next couple of days

@lovesrunning interesting, have you done a test yet? If the OPK was positive, although they track different things apparently) you could be. I'd highly suggest testing!

@DreamyCat I don't think you are, it could be implantation bleeding. To count as AF it has to be as heavy as it normally is I think. Fx for you!!

Well rosieposies I figured for the first month I should probably wait until a week had passed because AF was a week late two months ago but now I’m mainly just holding out cause I don’t want to be disappointed! And don’t worry I was already symptom spotting like a mad thing but they all seem to have gone away except sore boobs. I was really bloated for two weeks but that’s died down, and not sure if it was around the time of ov or not. I’ve been really tired - but I ran a marathon last week. And I’ve had a stuffy nose but I had a cold 😂so trying not to read in to any of those! Sore boobs could easily be AF.

One thing I was going to ask - I had a tiny bit of brown spotting yesterday at what I think was either 10 or 11 dpo so I assumed AF was coming but absolutely nothing since. Also, I did an opk last night (not really sure why - because I’ve read they don’t mean much just before period!) and it was positive - does that mean that either a) I’m ovulating (again?! Did I even in the first place? B) I’m about to come on or c) I’m pregnant?

So that’s all going on in my head... time for big girl pants and a proper test perhaps.

Excuse TMI but I could do with some advice. I thought AF was here on Sunday, which would be 8dpo approx. But I've only seen a few drops of dark brown blood on a pantyliner over 2 days. One tiny drop today too. Does this count as AF? I tested again this morning using internet cheapie (as I clearly like to torture myself) and of course BFN. I'm now 9dpo (or 8.5!). Am I out this month?

Haven’t told anyone in real life yet, just keeping it between me and DP for now. Did another FRER this morning and the line was a bit lighter than yesterday evening :( I drank a lot of water last night after 11, a couple of pint glasses, then went to bed, then did the test this morning at 6:30. Hoping my FMU was just diluted

BFN for me this morning. Still 4 days untill af is due. Gonna try really hard not to test again.

wow @lovesrunning! That's some amazing resolve. Have you got any symptoms? (don't mean to encourage you to drive yourself mad symptom checking).

I'm 7 DPO today (that's using Flo, not an OPK) and have had quite a bit of periody type pains. Longest week of my life. My FRER says I can test on Thursday. I think I'm going to FRER tomorrow with FMU because I just need to get it out of my system.

Did another this morning and the line is still quite faint, hmmm. I would have assumed it would need to be darker. However yesterday’s line has turned into a very dark pink line! Although I know you have to discard. I NEED frers!!

Some promising symptoms from people this morning! Fingers crossed.

I'm 11 days po and cd 36 (usually 32 days but think I'm having a random long one due to very late ov but this is my first month tracking) and BFN this morning on first response.

Stupid ic test has a tiny indent where test line would be, so if a turn at a certain angle I can convince myself there is a hint of a shadow. Pfft. Tomorrow is another day.

12dpo here and hoping to only test if the witch is late. my cramps have died down today after a horrible weekend. fx

Quick update from me - AF now 5 days late but trying not to think about it as I’ve only had 3 AFs since coming off the pill and one was a week late AND it’s only month one so chances are tiny. Just gonna wait two more days then test if she’s not here. (Trying not to think about it = thinking about it ALL the time.)

Update: Not done any other tests, but my nausea has now escalated to actual sick (sorry if tmi) it comes and it goes throughout the day so my gut (ha) says it's not a bug. But I've no idea - not been in this position since it's only our ttc#1

I was feeling so proud of myself all day for not testing but just caved with a dilute wee and an Internet cheapie - BFN unsurprisingly!

Got an upset stomach & because you I so rarely get stomach-sick I am now trying to convince myself I'm pregnant in spite of the witch showing signs of arrival! Oh dear. Why do I torture myself this way!

@Dragonandthewolf I can definitely see it, I think it's promising that the outline of the squinter looks as thick as the control line. I think it's looking good!! Get some rest and test again tomorrow maybe? X
