I definitely see something in the first pic. How many dpo are you? Get a frer now and test with fmu tomorrow morning. Good luck!

I think I've convinced myself there is nothing there...

I think so. If there is a colour in it it's definitely not an evap.
Try and wait till Friday morning till testing again but it looks promising for now.
