Hi girls

Thought it might be useful to start a thread to get all those of us who are down to our last week of the tww together and who are going to start testing soon!

Let the symptom sharing etc begin and let's pour all our best wishes in for plenty of bfps this coming week!

Who's with me?

Yeah now I know how it works I don’t think I’ll keep on with it -just another thing to obsess over, which is never healthy! Sounds like you’re def still in with a good chance though...

Owlpatrol · 29/01/2018 19:18

Yep it should go down however mine only dips drastically one or two days before af so usually I stop temping because it stresses me out too much so I only temp cd7-cd27 roughly xc

Mollydog88 · 29/01/2018 19:04

@owl that’s exciting! I’m cd 30 now, loads of pink spotting and cramping so af def on the way! This is the first month I tried it, more out of curiosity then anything - opks never seemed to work so it was comforting knowing I’ve ovulated if nothing else. Am I right in thinking that temp should go down before af starts?

Owlpatrol · 29/01/2018 18:37

@Mollydog88 yes still technically in cd29 here so I am expecting af any minute no spotting at all today. Trying not to get hopes up. I've looked back and I'm usually between 28-30 days so I'm expecting it next couple of days. I hate waiting I'd be completely gobsmacked if it doesn't turn up. I've stopped temping argh as was getting obsessed but thinking I might temp in the morning! Omg how are you? Xx

Mollydog88 · 29/01/2018 07:17

@mamabear If nothing else,it’s positive that you’ll start to get some answers. Keep your chin up!

@owlpatrol are you still in? I’m clinging on to the last shreds of hope - 13dpo, some spotting, heavier this morning BUT this is the first month I’ve properly taken my temp and they’re still sky high. That’s the only thing I’m holding on to!

Owlpatrol · 28/01/2018 20:59

@mamabear05 awww sending big hugs mama and fx for some answers this week! This was a lucky thread you started so many girls for their bfp's so it has to be yours soon! Xxx

mamabear05 · 28/01/2018 20:50

Haha nature has a funny way of showing you the way eh! I'm off to the GP this week hoping to sweet talk her for thyroid and progesterone tests! There HAS to be a reason why this is happening all of a sudden. Once I could put down to chance but twice after healthy pregnancies years before I'm struggling to accept. At least I know I can get pregnant...all systems go for next cycle lol x

You can message me anytime you want @mamabear05 ino how hard it is and you have no reason to feel selfish at all people can't make you feel guilty for hurting everyone had the right to grieve they don't no your struggle or your journey I was you all the luck in the world Flowers

mamabear05 · 28/01/2018 19:08

Thank you @JLamb89 and @ontono3 for your kind words. I am very lucky as I already having living children however my husband and I very much hoped for one last baby to complete our family. I had no problems conceiving my others so I'm now panicking about secondary infertility etc. It's hard to find people to talk to about the emotions you go through when struggling to conceive when you already have living children too as it seems almost selfish and ungrateful to show any pain and boy there are people out there who most definitely know how to make one feel guilty about it too.

Thank you to everyone for your support on this thread. It would be nice to keep it going.

Congratulations again to everyone who's had their bfps and to those still waiting I wish you all the very best of luck x

JLamb89 · 28/01/2018 18:30

@mamabear05 oh I’m so so sorry lovely 🙁. I really wish you all the luck in the world on your next cycle lovely ! Big hugs xxxxxxxxx

mamabear05 · 28/01/2018 17:27

So I've started spotting 😢😢😢 Nevermind, was nice for the 3 exciting days it lasted. At least it was quicker this time. 4 weeks 4 days.

Has anyone had back to back early losses and still gone onto succeed without medical help? Xx

@Mollydog88 thank you and yes I agree! I'm trying to be mature and not let it consume me but it's soooo hard!

mamabear05 · 28/01/2018 15:38

@Celebelly thank you and im sorry to hear this has happened to you too. I'm just starting to panic a little that this means there might be something wrong with me since it's happened straight after an early miscarriage last month too. I never had any problems with the children I have now though I was a lot younger then. Interestingly enough my excema has kicked off big time since I got my first bfp this time around so I'm going to my GP this week and going to plead with him to do blood tests to check my thyroid etc incase it's an autoimmune thing. He's already advised me to take baby aspirin from bfp since I miscarried last month which I have done but it doesn't seem to be making much difference!

Fingers crossed it's still just all early days but I highly doubt it x

Sorry @mamabear05. Same thing happened to me this month - it's horrid. But try not to worry - they are so common. It's a good thing you can get pg easily - all it needs now is a stickier bean.

I'm on day 3 of AF now - it's a lot heavier than usual and more painful but glad it's here and hoping my cycle carries on as normal so we can try next month.

Mollydog88 · 28/01/2018 11:59

@mamabear05 wishing you all the luck in the world - really hope your instincts are wrong and it’s just taking its time to show.

I can’t quite get my head around how all-consuming ttc is - I feel like the rest of my life’s on hold until it happens!

mamabear05 · 28/01/2018 11:56

@Mollydog88 you're not out yet. I have my fingers crossed for you but if she does show then it's onwards and upwards for next month. I got another v.v.faint bfp this morning but I know in my heart its a chemical and will be bfn tomorrow. Just want AF to start now so we can start trying again.

Mollydog88 · 28/01/2018 11:51

@jessabean thank you so much for this. I wasn’t too worried until he kept saying it was ‘very unusual’ to not see it! He also said I had a small cyst on my right ovary which was normal but obviously I’ve gone away thinking I’m completely broken 😂

Pretty sure I’m out this month anyway, due af in two days, still bfn and cramps and a bit of spotting over the last couple of days - roll on the next one!

Jessabean · 28/01/2018 11:38

@Mollydog88 just read your message about your ultrasound scan. Try not to worry- I'm a radiologist so do a lot of pelvic Uss scans and we frequently can't find ovaries- they have a tendency to tuck themselves behind bowel loops which can't be scanned through! Also would be exceedingly rare for there not to actually be an ovary there unless you've had an op down there in the past!
Also you can't see any pregnancy sac on abdominal ultrasound until like 5 weeks at least if you're in 2WW! Try not to worry!

Owlpatrol · 28/01/2018 10:16

Yes definitely and sending big virtual hugs honey. Take it easy today. Still nothing for me....decided to start spring cleaning to take my mind off things! Xx

Mollydog88 · 28/01/2018 10:15

Just had an ultrasound for painful periods and been told he couldn’t find my left ovary at all! :( completely terrified that it’s never going to happen and there’s something wrong.

mamabear05 · 28/01/2018 09:47

@Owlpatrol you're still not out yet but even if AF does show her ugly face that would be an amazing birthday next month...maybe that's what bubs is waiting for!

I am 99.9% sure I'm having a chemical :( Whilst I appreciate these things are common in starting to worry that this, along with my miscarriage last month, means something is wrong with me. Obviously I can get pregnant quickly which is fab news but my body obviously keeps rejecting them which is not so fab news.

I did another test this morning, FRER again and it was about the same if not a little fainter than the bfp on Thursday. I have read somewhere though that fmu is not great for some people though so clinging onto that thought (thurs/fri where evening urine) but I'm sure if it was going to be successful they would have got darker anyway with it being 3 days since the first test.

Nevermind eh, onwards and upwards!
Fingers crossed next month will be our month instead xx

Any updates mama?

Woke this morning to really sore boobs I was going to test this morning but fairly certain I'm out anyway. Af due anytime today or tomorrow x I feel ok though but my 30th is looming and I said I'd go to the doctors when that comes and goes so I don't want to face up to thay reality Sad

Went shopping yesterday and saw the most gorgeous independent yummy mummy shop in the world I felt so odd and a bit numb but oddly I was like "my time will come" almost like an ephany really weird! But I often listen to my instincts so fx for next month would be amazing birthday present x
