Where there’s a Yam, there’s a way

Thread numero four-o.

A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement.

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

  • Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
  • Thou shall not give advice to others when TTC for one month only
  • Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
  • Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
  • Thou shall not be offended by strong language
  • Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
  • Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

And most importantly...

  • Thou shall not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if they do so.

Waves to everyone! So sorry we're all still here but it is such a great place for support. I'm on cycle 7 and trying to stay positive. Have a sneaky feeling my boss is expecting so waiting for that delightful baby bomb any day now, bleurgh. Happy for her and all that, but it sucks for me... you know what I mean. Love and baby dust to everyone. 2018 will be our year, guys! X

@Snowyjoey. Yeah my cycles are unpredictable. In the summer they were 28-29 days long and now they are more like 36. I THINK I may have pinpointed ovulation this cycle, I think lol but who knows! If no bfp this month I'm going to book myself in for a private fertility scan so I can get some idea of what's going on. Otherwise it's just me a dh dtd every other day for 30 odd days lol!!!

Can I join please? I'm TTC #1 since the summer and not even a whiff of a bfp.

Just crazy irregular cycles thank you bloody pill so I basically have no idea what's going on every month. Yay! Hmm Never been pregnant before so this is all new to me.

I don’t understand why men don’t want to get SA done Pibbee they are literally just having a nice little tug. We have to be poked and prodded and have things shoved up our vaginas and we don’t complain!

Thanks for starting the new thread!! This is the second one of these that I have been on....

DH dropped his S.A. sample off on Friday just gone, I avoided posting about it until it had all been done cos I thought it reasonably likely he would wimp out/make excuses, cos he reeeeeaallly didn’t wanna do it, results should be back in a couple weeks...

As for me, heading into FW later in the week, can’t really arsed at this stage tbh!!

Got my first appt at the fertility clinic end of Jan. Argh.
