Ttc #1 month 13 here and willing to try anything! Been reading up on Sperm meets egg plan - anybody had any joy??

I haven't DTD anymore!! We were knackered from work and it was killing us being on a schedule. I don't think we have a chance as DTD like we have done historically but I guess I need to be positive

Okay so I have this EVERY MONTH and it's really annoying! I've started temping vaginally and thought it might make a difference but it hasn't (apart from higher temps)... I never know if I'm ovulating on CD 14 15 or 16. I got a positive opk then a little temp rise then ewcm then a bit temp rise over those few days... not sure if I believe FF. FF said I ovulated on CD16 last two cycles but this time CD14.

Any ideas? I know I'm covered either way as dtd plenty on SMEP but would be good to know for future months... and obv to know when I can realistically start poas!!

@Mizz why are you out?? Is it because you've not had a positive opk?? You can def ovulate and not get a positve opk - they're not foolproof!

I think we might do this next month if no BFP this one.

This month we DTD on CD14, 15, 16, 17 (+OPK), 18 and I think I ovulated on 18/19. We really should have DTD last night (CD 19) too but honestly after all that, we were both bloody knackered and couldn't be bothered Grin

I think next month we will do SMEP and just do three in a row after positive OPK instead of so many before so we don't run out of steam Blush

Think it's safe to say I'm out this month... Faintest of faint lines on opk today and it's day 19 so implantation wouldnt be possible even if I do ovulate in next few days... But good luck to you all!

Whaooo finally got poss opk cd14 pm so not quite made smep as dtd on cd11 14 and now need to today and tomorrow for the 3 days! Hoping for lots of energy!

We did what my gyn joking referred to as ‘SMEP plus’!

Sex every other day that I didn’t have a period (long periods) and the. Everyday when I thought I was ovulating/ due to ovulate.
I temped, used preseed lubricant and we did this for 4 months!

I spoke to him after 2 and expressed issues with fatigue and performing so often.

He gave us some syringes (kinda the same as preseed ones’ and told us to do ‘at home turkey basting’ on the days we were tired. It is not romantic, but it does take the pressure off! And it works. Our dd is definitely a turkey child, I had a hideous cold the month we conceived and barely had sex!

Lol Surreygirl, sometime back when I was a prude... I remember a lady claimed to 'empty her OH's testicles' before he travels for work by bding 3-4 days in a row. That's the only way she was sure he'd be repulsed by the thought of anything sex related. I was like whaaaaa 😱😱😱

Ha guys I can totally sympathise... told my oh earlier we're going to bd later and I've never seen him look more miserable at the prospect!! Ha the madness of ttc...

My cycles are a bit all over the place since coming off contraception but agreed with DH we're going to give this a try cycle (waiting for AF to show currently but not pregnant!). Seems like there is lots of positive stories about it :)
