SMEP - Any success stories?

Ttc #1 month 13 here and willing to try anything! Been reading up on Sperm meets egg plan - anybody had any joy??

Sorry to jump on your thread ladies. We used SMEP with pre-seed and our DD is now 8yo.

Month 1 - came off pill so not really ‘trying’
Month 2 - just having fun trying
Month 3 - SMEP & pre-seed pregnant!

I think I might give that a go. TBH I’m not much of an alcohol drinker anyway but I probably do need to drink more water x

The only thing I really did this month was I started drinking 2-3litres of water a day because I read a article about how dehydration can affect your fertility (don’t know if it’s true) and cut out chocolate, crisps and alcohol... not saying it worked but worth a try xx

We dtd last night and got a positive opk today so now need to start the 3 days in a row Confused . Need to try to find the energy from somewhere! Haha

Thank you! Well we tried haha.. we didn’t it every other day from CD10 got a positive OPK on cd 17 so dtd then. But DP couldn’t ‘finish’ on CD18 so we skipped it and did it on CD19. Then didn’t do it for the next 5 days Hmm xx

Sorry about AF @shhsecretenclosed it absolutely sucks.

I got my static smiley on clear blue digital yesterday so in the midst of the 3 days dtd. Already knackered. Also having the most horrendous ovulation cramps Sad which doesn't help with the libido!

@shhsecretenclosed I’m sorry about AF! I think it worse when you have done SMEP because you feel all that hard work had gone to nothing. I Get how I feeling I’m on cycle 14 x

Af is just starting. I feel devastated. Month number 13 done. It never gets any easier, just harder. Pregnant women everywhere. Sorry for negativity. I just feel really low but tomorrow is a new day.

Thanks, I am really happy but very nervous due to previous mc so I think it will be an anxious wait till I am holding our rainbow! x

@Filzma I tested at 9 and 10 dpo with frer and they were feint but defo there. 11dpo frer darker and today 12dpo very clear pink line plus my internet cheapies which are less sensitive are showing light lines now as well. AF is due on Wednesday so will do a clear blue wednesday or thursday. Last month was chemical and I never got anything more than a light line on frer and no other test picked it up so hope this time it is looking better and my hcg is rising.

I did smep this month and got my bfp. It was exhausting but seemed to do the trick! Hopeful that this will be my rainbow baby!
