78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

Me too tinker 😊

Re cm- I google everything ha!

So is there anything (other than the baby) you are looking forward to during pregnancy/ after? I personally hope it’s true that you lose some boob after breastfeeding. Kinda fed up with not being able to find any nice bras on the high street 😂

Tinker315b · 12/02/2018 21:42

I hope we are all looking back on this chat in a years time and remember how stressed and frustrated we were... and hopefully all have babies! Tonight I have a small bit of thick sticky CM, not sure what this mean... my bits seem to have a mind of their own 😑

PickettBowtruckles · 12/02/2018 21:31

Going to amazon them now! At this point I’ll try anything 😂

Loz604 · 12/02/2018 21:29

I heard someone on here talking about it so Google’s it. Meant to have lots of health benefits including helping the reproductive system. Got them from amazon and only took one capsule a day. As I say- who knows if it was that that worked or just my body. Maybe worth a go xx

PickettBowtruckles · 12/02/2018 21:23

I’ve never heard of starflower oil @Loz604 - What’s that?

I was taking the combination conception vitamins first cycle but when I didn’t have a period for 52 days decided to try ‘all natural’ and not use anything extra and see what happens which clearly hasn’t helped Confused

Yeah unfortunately doctor was really really unhelpful. Am really worried as I have another appointment Wednesday and am hoping it’ll go better but the last one made me feel so awful so I’m just a bit nervous!

Loz604 · 12/02/2018 21:18

Oh what an insensitive doctor! I came off pill 29.12.17 and had a period a month later. I took starflower oil almost instantly after coming off. Who knows what my following cycles will be though xx

PickettBowtruckles · 12/02/2018 21:16

@LifeOfRiley63 oh that’s so frustrating! Have yours done anything since?

Thanks for the welcoming! As rubbish as it is for us it’s kind of nice to have someone in a similar situation Flowers

LifeOfRiley63 · 12/02/2018 21:14

@Pickettbowtruckles My doctors did the same and I'm on CD115! You've come to the right place xx Flowers
So frustrating isn't it?!

PickettBowtruckles · 12/02/2018 20:38

Thanks Loz. I’ve dipped into this thread a couple times but seems you are a supportive bunch so wanted to say hi again. No supplements currently. I was on the patch but stopped in mid September. Had a period end of November but nothing since. I went to the doctors when I got to day 50 of previous cycle in November and the GP was awful. Basically told me I’m only 24 and not to come back for at least a year as she won’t look into anything until then. Finally got an appt with another doctor this Wednesday and am hoping she’ll be a bit more helpful.

@Loz604 I do love the lakes! I live 7 miles from lake Windermere in Kendal!

I've had a bad migraine this afternoon ladies so I'm going to get an early night. Think it's too early to symptom spot as I'm only 4 DPO. Xoxo

Loz604 · 12/02/2018 20:31

Welcome Pickett...

Glad you found us! Are you taking any supplements? Were you previously on a pill?

Loz604 · 12/02/2018 20:29

AH thanks ladies- yes lots of people have said about temple bar area.

I love camping in the Lake District. Went kayaking across lake windmere a few years ago. Great fun!

PickettBowtruckles · 12/02/2018 20:23

This thread was kinda in the back of my mind as ‘anything before 78 days no period is fine!’ (I don’t mean that in a horrible way, please don’t be offended!)

Today I am CD79 😫

78th day of no period....
Tinker315b · 12/02/2018 19:55

Well I’m from the North! Guiness factory is brilliant I love it, there’s Kilmainham Gaol which is a prison if that would interest you! Dublin zoo tho not sure if it would be open and it’s freezing here at the min. Obviously go to Temple Bar area which is lovely, cobbled streets etc.

Aw lovely Penny, would love to Visit the Lake District sometime, I’ve never been! Xx

LifeOfRiley63 · 12/02/2018 19:49

@Loz604 If you fancy a nice restaurant in Dublin I recommend San Lorenzos, American Italian food, so so nice!
I went to Dublin last year. Its lovely! Was very cold and windy when we went. I got on a bus tour and it was really funny as well as interesting.
Guinness tour is ace too! When you get to the roof bar make sure you try a black velvet Guinness cocktail xxx

gossipgirl28 · 12/02/2018 19:44

Nice to see everyone's real names!

I'm penny, I'm 28 from the Lake District! Bought a house with my other half who is from New Zealand in December! We may make the big move across in a few years but for now we have decided to have a baby! Xoxo

Loz604 · 12/02/2018 19:36

Yes it definitely is 😊 I’m heading for Dublin at the weekend! Any places you’d recommend to visit? Already have the Guinness your booked- will make sure I do a frer on Friday in preparation 😂

Tinker315b · 12/02/2018 19:33

My name is Francesca, I’m 28 and I’m from Ireland! I got married in June and built our own house last February 😊 Nice to have an actual name for you now!

Loz604 · 12/02/2018 19:27

I’m laura, 26- moved into my own house with DP in Huntingdonshire in July 😊

LifeOfRiley63 · 12/02/2018 19:25

Well, I'll start.
My names Liz, I'm 30 and I live in West Yorkshire

Loz604 · 12/02/2018 19:16

Tinker i know nothing so couldn’t possibly advise. I am just taking folic acid. Only my first cycle so going to try naturally before adding too many supplements. Just my own approach- others may have better advice for you xx

Lifeofriley- I am intrigued as to where abouts everyone is from haha

tinyradish · 12/02/2018 19:15

I agree lifeofriley & tink!

Tinker315b · 12/02/2018 19:08

Maybe I will stop taking them, would you advise to stop taking all vitamins apart from the folic acid?

I know me too.. and I hope we all stay in touch throughout our journeys! We have all been in this together and I think it’s lovely 😊
