I'm 12 days late today, last test was 8 days late and I went to the doc who was no help.

I took an OPK today to see if the missed period was a fluke and hopefully get a line as (if I had had a period) am due to ov early next week. well I took an IC for the hell of it and this has happened...

Line eyes please I'm shaking x

@Bitsandbobsalot wow you must be just beaming right now, so lovely to hear! I think I will have an early scan probably 9-10 weeks if I can wait, there's a private clinic near here that my best friend went to several times and rates highly. I feel so happy today! X

I was 6 weeks exactly when I had my scan on Friday. I honestly went into it expecting the worst and burst into tears when she said “I can see a sack, I can see a yolk and I can see a heartbeat” she even gave my tubes and ovaries a good inspection.
I wasn’t expecting such a early scan at EPU so I’d booked a private one for 7 weeks which will be this coming Friday as I’d read that’s the best time to see a heartbeat so I’m very lucky too of seen everything is ok.
Yes definitely trust the frer much more reliable. 12 weeks a day after your birthday is lovely.

@Bitsandbobsalot oh hopefully I will see you on the August boards! I've definitely 'felt' pregnant since my spotting at 7dpo so gonna assume I'm 6 weeks at my first scan (I'm 12 weeks the day after my birthday!)
So happy your scan went well and you got to see a heatbeat! How many weeks were you when you had it?
I have heard that about those tests so will disregard it but I don't even need it after seeing the FRER Grin

I’m the 10th so not far behind me at all and had my early viability scan at EPU due too previous mc’s on Friday and baby was perfect size with a lovely heartbeat.

Those digitals are awful and not 100% accurate. I had my 1-2, then 2-3 and then 3+ which turned into 2-3 the following morning and I won’t lie I panicked, convinced myself it was etopic (stay away from Dr. Google ) only for everything to turn out fine (touch wood) so I wouldn’t trust them least if all if it’s out of date. Women’s hcg raises at completely different rates so you may just be a slow riser. So I wouldn’t worry about it at all.
I’m chuffed you got your strong bfp on a frer

Well the online calculator says 14th as I have 31 day cycles which makes me about 6 weeks (I tracked ovulation and had spotting a week later around implantation which all point towards being 6 weeks) but then my BFP came so late and also I did a clear blue (it was out of date by a month don't ask Blush) and it only said 1-2 weeks so now I'm not so sure! Grin

It's official! Got a strong BFP this morning on a FRER, I am beyond ecstatic. Thank you all for your kind words and speedy replies!

I know the difference between the opk and the hpt and can definitely see the line on the hpt. I’m sure you’ll get a good line on your frer with fmu.

Defo a line on both. I dont even need to squint to see it either. Faint but more than just a squinter.

@LisaSimpsonsbff sorry I was in such a hurry to get a second opinion, I have a FRER that I'd saved for Sunday so will take that with FMU tomorrow and update! Shock fingers crossed!

I meant by including it in the photo, not by taking it in the first place! It's just I think you're getting a lot of 'definite lines' from people who think the OPK is an HPT - as I said, the line on the actual pregnancy test is a real squinter - fingers crossed it is good news for you, but I'd definitely want to see a clearer line on a FRER to confirm.

@LisaSimpsonsbff I didn't take the OPK to see if I was pregnant. I skipped a period and was told after 8 days of a BFN that it would most likely stay a BFN. I took the OPK to see if I my cycle was going back to normal and if I was ovulating. I did the IC on a small chance i might be pregnant after all.
