Anyone in Fertile Week?

I'm on CD 8 and just about to start the joys of fw and OPKS again for cycle 6 of ttc #1
Anyone else approaching/in fw and got any new tips/ideas you're trying this cycle? Or anything you did different which resulted in BFP? How often if everyone dtd?

@SparkLee, the apps can be reliable but only after you have entered enough info about when you last ovulated and had periods, so that it can make a solid prediction. Like I’m on cycle 3 but have used opks since first cycle just to make sure I’m ovulating correctly and get my period on time. If you don’t use opks straight away you can use the app as a rough guide but give or take 2 or 3 days from your predicted ovulation or period dates.

May I join? :) Dh and I have just got married and are just waiting for my fertile week so we can ttc. This is the first time we will be trying so the language etc. will be a bit new to me. But nice to be part of a support group. According to my fertility app my fertile week is next week but I wonder are these apps reliable or should I also buy ovulation sticks?

Well I came off pill at end of Sep so I’m only on cycle 3 (cycle 2 actively trying) but first cycle 33 days long, second cycle 28 days long. So hoping this cycle is a 28 day long one. If the luteal phase is roughly the same nearly every cycle of around 11/12 days then this cycle should in theory be a 28 day cycle.. hopefully

Good Stuff Gem how long are your cycles? When will you poss?
I'm CD13 now, neg opp yesterday will keep testing but suspect will of around CD 16

Tested opk today, got a neg, tested yesterday and think it was negative (was in a rush so didnt wait for it to fully develop, but no line showed within time frame. So think I ovulated cd17 which makes today 2dpo

I'm with you Owlpatrol af week can feel as long as 2ww sometimes. I haven't used lube but I hear pre seed is good for the swimmers

Girls need your opinions on sperm friendly lubricants....has anyone had any success with these?

Had a positive yesterday as well as day before. Haven’t tested this morning yet but doubt I need to as had pains last night. Have done the deed weds, thurs and possibly tonight too just in case. Although last night wasn’t very good as oh already relieved himself earlier on in the day :/

Hi guys, sorry i have stopped getting e-mail notifications for MN so didn't notice these posts.
Yay Gem173 so satisfying when you get a proper positive opk isn't it!
I'm cd12, dtd last night and going to try every day and a half haha for the next week.
HellaBella you're September chart is good with the sudden dip before ovulation, that would be handy for predicting ov is coming rather than just seeing it has happened.

I think we've done all we could in fertile week haha! Now the ttw begins. Feeling really rubbish today, been nauseous all morning and was sick after my coffee. I think I'm overly anxious as I just don't feel very settled. Hope everyone else is feeling a bit more positive!

@Gem173 same here, doing SMEP. I'm on cd 14 and haven't had my positive opk yet. Anticipating ovulation on cd 17/18 so will do the 3 days in a row and see what happens!

@merzz yeah I just got the copper coil taken out a couple of weeks ago but cycle seems to be undisturbed! Fingers crossed x

Hi guys Cd 16 today and got a near pos opk :) been doing sperm meets egg since cd7, however didn’t do it last night so hopefully will do it tonight, then get pos opk tomorrow then dtd for 3 more days in a row. :)

Here are my charts so far in case you’re interested. The first one (Sept) is straight after bc so is quite long at 40 days. The second one is October (second month off pill) and was a bit shorter at 32 days.

This is cycle 6 for me. I actually have to set my alarm for 10 mins early this week between temping and opks Confused it's mental.
This is my 1st cycle temping, i also just want to check if i'm ovulating. Will be interesting to see everyone's charts after ovulation.

@LoveTheBear85 that’s what I’ve been doing. I just wanted to see if I ovulated etc as before I went on the pill my cycles weren’t very regular. It seems I am ovulating but going to carry on as there are still a little bit unpredictable. What cycle is everyone on? We’re only on #2 (although temping since Sept) so newbies really

CD12 of cycle 1 ttc#1. Totally new to this but becoming quickly obsessive! Not using opk or anything this month and seeing how it goes but joining on here to see if anyone has advice.

I'm only CD4 (cycle 2 TTC #1) but I have bought a thermometer and just want to check that I am ovulating so will be tracking temps this month. To be fair, we have literally only just start trying but with my cycles being a bit nuts, I just want to understand a bit more about me.

Hi HellaBella yes cd9 too. I'm starting using opks from tomorrow. I'm going to try and do eod starting tomorrow, I suspect I will ovulate around day 16 so don't want to wear the out too early
