Welcome @muffy! @paranormal did you test?
Still crampy a little, lots of dreams the past few days, not too much CM but is creamy, constipated, sore throat...

Cariad2017 · 21/12/2017 19:44

Sounding promising Rhi, Mynameis and Paranormal. I shall be keeping everything crossed for you. I know this isn’t my cycle but at least I’ll have another shot at a September due date in early January so all is not lost!

MynameisJune · 21/12/2017 19:21

@rhi I’m the same, always say I won’t symptom spot but can’t hekp myself. Loads of CM, getting heartburn, felt sick this morning and needed a nap this afternoon. All this on top of some really bad cramps has made me get my hopes up. I know I’m just heading for a huge disappointment when af arrives. Hope grows in the most barren places I guess.

RhiBee29 · 21/12/2017 19:04

Welcome to the newbies, in the nicest way possible I hope you're not here long.

Still got the sore boobs (did last cycle so discounting it as a symptom) also got up to pee last night, food & drinks are not tasting quite right and very gassy Hmm...hopes are up, why do I do it each cycle?

muffyduffster · 21/12/2017 14:44

Hello all 👋🏻
Going to join in!
I'm 38 and this is our first cycle TTC #2 (#1 has just turned one).
I'm CD21 and at the end of my fertile window according to Ovia. Got pregnant with first quickly and periods haven't been back long due to BF so not sure how accurate the data is (I was on the pill for 20 years before first baby so not good at tracking) but feeling what I think are ovulation twinges on my right side and DTD last night so in with a chance this month Grin
Will probably test on New Year's Day! Fingers crossed for everyone.

Kit1411 · 21/12/2017 11:03

Eek I’d have to do one to find out, hope it’s positive.

Paranormalbouquet · 21/12/2017 10:42

So oddly today all my PMS symptoms have disappeared. Woke up to pee overnight twice. And am nauseous this morning. 10/11DPO- probably 11 but could be 10. I’m in the airport and have impulsively bought 2 FRERs. Do I use one now or wait til morning? Or stick to my original plan of seeing what happens Xmas eve?

TTC #2

I'm 27. DD is nearly 15 months. This is my first cycle ttc again Grin. Currently on CD14 so won't be testing til Jan but I thought I'd pop by and say hi Smile

Paranormalbouquet · 20/12/2017 22:35

Oh Cariad you’ve given me hope now- been peeing non-stop today! I’m properly fat at the moment- months of stress (not just on the ttc count; there’s been family stress, stress re cervix issues, work stress) have led to me comfort eating and I need to knock it on the head.

Had yet another ultrasound of my cervix today, in preparation for my consultation re surgery next month. Asked them to look at uterine lining as well into luteal phase- it’s just under the normal range. Could be normal for me or indicative of a problem. Looks like I ovulated from both sides though so nice to know my symptoms are accurate!

Cervix looks super short- was hoping would be longer given progesterone stimulation- but still only 14-15mm and scarred looking. Risk of miscarriage/preterm labour estimated at 30-40% if I do get pregnant so will be no end to the worrying I think.

Syd has there been progress on the faint lines?

MynameisJune · 20/12/2017 13:27

@cariad so sorry you’re feeling like you’re out already this cycle, symptoms may not necessarily be the same for every pregnancy so there is still hope.

Must be so frustrating that DH is drinking more than recommended and I know it’s not the best thing for him to do but you’ve both had a shit year on the TTC front. And he may just need this time to let off some steam and get ready for more TTC next year.

I’ve also decided to rein in my eating next year and carry on going to the gym. This is whether I’m pregnant or not this month. I’ve completely not had the head space for self care in this way this year but some things have to change and this is one of them.

@kit I had a similar pain last night in bed at 7dpo and lots of cramps today. I’m not getting my hopes up though as I think these are normal symptoms for me now in the tww.

Kit1411 · 20/12/2017 12:19

Ok so I’m sat at my desk...not doing a lot as winding down for Xmas, and I had a pain on my left uterus area then totally made me stop and go ow inside. Only for about 5 seconds...first thought implantation as i’m 7 dpo....eek I really hope so!

Cariad2017 · 20/12/2017 07:35

And for the first time in my life my BMI has tipped into the fat zone.... I’ve found that 15 cycles of hope followed by crushing despair have wreaked havoc on my waistline.

I’m determined to diet for the first time in my life and find an exercise regime that works... At this rate I feel I’m going to need all the endorphins I can find to get me through 2018,

Cariad2017 · 20/12/2017 07:30

Dropping in to say hello! 10dpo at this end and I’m 99% sure I’m out (again).... In the three times I was pregnant, I was already peeing like a race horse at this stage, and I’m not... Groan...

I have very mixed emotions about it. This month would have been terrible for a BFP for all manner of reasons (I would have missed out on SMP by a week) and I would in all likelihood have ended up with a late August baby (DS was three weeks early and I have a very good chance of needing to be induced early again so an early September due date would pretty much guarantee an August birth). On the other hand, I’m absolutely dreading starting another year still ttc.

I feel we’re hurtling head first into IVF which will be brilliant if it works but I’m gutted it might come to that and dreading the horrific rollercoaster it will no doubt entail.

DH isn’t helping matters. The only identifiable cause of our secondary infertility is the quality of his sperm, which can be helped with diet. He did an amazing job of cutting down the caffeine and alcohol for a couple of months, but now that it’s December his alcohol consumption has shot right up. Admittedly it’s not ridiculous but it’s at least double the 10 units a week recommended by our clinic...

MynameisJune · 19/12/2017 21:58

@kit I always get cramps in the tww so never think anything of it anymore. Hopefully it’s better symptom for you!

RhiBee29 · 19/12/2017 21:48

Been having twinges and bubbly sensations, probs all in my head as only 6dpo! Still undecided on the test day, ovulation was 4 days early but Ovia still has af due on 30th Dec which will be 18dpo cd31, I think af will most likely show before then.

Kit1411 · 19/12/2017 21:21

Anyone been having very very minor dull achy/crampy feelings? I’ve been having them.

Kit1411 · 19/12/2017 21:20

@Rhi I’m worried of that too, don’t want a BFN to ruin the day...I do love Brie though.

Paranormalbouquet · 19/12/2017 21:00

Yes that’s true- I’m due pre Xmas at least!

MynameisJune · 19/12/2017 20:47

I don’t normally test but we usually start start Christmas morning with mimosa’s it carries on from there until the end of Boxing Day. Seeing a bfn will be hard but getting af on Boxing Day or later and not drinking on Christmas Day just make this whole thing seem worse.

Paranormalbouquet · 19/12/2017 20:26

I don’t think I’ll test this month. Due Xmas eve and all the indications are that will come so don’t want to depress myself seeing bfn!

MynameisJune · 19/12/2017 19:15

I’m either testing Christmas Day or Christmas Eve. I’ll be even more grumpy if I don’t test, don’t drink and then af arrives Boxing Day!

RhiBee29 · 19/12/2017 18:37

@Kit1411 I can't decide if I'm going to POAS Christmas Day, would be fab if bfp and if not it means as much Prosecco and Brie as I can fit it but worried I'll be upset if it's a bfn and ruin the day.

Kit1411 · 19/12/2017 13:33

6 dpo here too. Don’t feel any different so already feeling negative. Boobs are always tender around ovulation, tailed off pretty much now, keep feeling twingy in my uterus area but that’s about it. Will be testing Christmas Day.

MynameisJune · 18/12/2017 21:08

I’m 6dpo here, no really symptoms to speak of. Although I didn’t with DD or the MC in October really so who knows.

I was really positive this month, we dtd 7 times just before and during the FW so was really thinking we had a chance but not feeling as positive now. Will be due to test Christmas Eve/Christmas Day so that I can drink my sorrows away. I have a pretty bottle of prosecco waiting and a very large bottle of gin I won.

Paranormalbouquet · 18/12/2017 20:19

RhiBee I alway got sore boobs pre period but since DD has come along they start straight after ovulation. The month I conceived DD and the month I had an early loss I had no breast pain/tenderness. This month have loads and am feeling ratty so just waiting for cycle 7 to start now.
