Going insane!! BFP/Miscarriage

I had a BFP on 14/11 and posted it on here for clarity (pic 1)

I started to bleed that weekend, it was heavy and I had cramps so naturally assumed it was a chemical pregnancy but I was still having BFP (pic 2)

Bleeding stopped on Tuesday. Obviously now is Friday and I have just had my strongest BFP to date. (Pic 3)

I have been to the doctor who told me bleeding means miscarriage and to just accept it basically.

But should my tests be getting stronger? I know I’m probably torturing myself but I read that you shouldn’t TTC again until you had a negative test?!

Anyone been in the same situation or can provide insight? Thanks in advance!!

So sorry OP. Hope you're ok and it's not an ectopic. Thinking of you!

kirinm · 02/12/2017 12:43

So sorry you're going through this. Have they explained what will happen next? I was fortunate to be able to avoid surgery and was able to use methotrexate. It took a long time for my HCG levels to drop but I was looked after really well by the EPU.

I have been pregnant several times since. Unfortunately I went on to miscarry but that was all totally unrelated to the ectopic. Don't lose hope.

MrsDoyleFallingOutTheWindow · 01/12/2017 20:58

So sorry albus. Glad you have support but sorry that you need it. I hope it doesn't prove to be ectopic. Bless you.

itshappening · 01/12/2017 20:55

Oh (( Albus )) I am so sorry.

I hope they are looking after you. After this roller coaster anything you feel is fair enough but try not to give up hope. Maybe when the immediate situation is clearer you can get some more advice, as whatever has happened might shed light on where any issues might or might not be.

DT2016 · 01/12/2017 17:41

So sorry to hear that op Sad Hoping for the best for you. Ttc is such a tough road to travel for so many of us xx

Albuspotterdumbledore · 01/12/2017 15:57

Not too great bendy the pregnancy definitely isn't progressing. My HCG levels are static and as they couldn't see anything on the scan they are now worried about ectopic pregnancy. So going back tomorrow for more bloods. In addition I've been bleeding more, not lots just little bits when I wipe.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts ❤️

Not the best way to start off our Christmas but DH is being a massive support and keeps reassuring me it will happen for us just unfortunately not this time. After 11 months TTC though I'm not as optimistic.

How are you OP. Been thinking of you Thanks

WishfulThinking27 · 30/11/2017 10:32

Hoping all goes well today OP.

kirinm · 30/11/2017 08:22

Good luck for today OP (am assuming you'll have your bloods done again today). Based on my experience don't be surprised if you are asked to come back again in a couple of days for repeat bloods regardless of the result.

Mrstobe90 · 29/11/2017 07:47

Fx your hcg levels double! Xx

MrsDoyleFallingOutTheWindow · 29/11/2017 07:07

Oh bless you. At least they're seeing you again and hopefully you'll get some answers. Thinking of you OP.

itshappening · 28/11/2017 23:54

Well, I guess no one said it would be easy....! So glad you went and I really hope it is a case of late ovulation, whatever happens though at least you are being monitored now. Hang in there!

Appuskidu · 28/11/2017 22:17

Glad you got an appointment:)

LostMyBaubles · 28/11/2017 22:09

Glad you went epu

FML2017 · 28/11/2017 19:30

That's good, at least you'll know one way or the other in a couple of day - even if it isn't the news you want it's better than being in limbo for god knows how long

Emz01 · 28/11/2017 19:15

Hi OP, glad you managed to get seen by EPU, really hope you get some good news in a couple of days! 600 HCG sounds promising, I remember being told that they would expect to see something on a scan when it reaches 1500 which might explain why you didn’t see anything today. Got my fingers crossed for you!

Albuspotterdumbledore · 28/11/2017 18:32

Update! I went for the scan today and they couldn't see anything. The midwife wasn't sure why I was getting positive tests and said I may have ovulated late into my cycle and it was too early to see. She said with the clear blue 2-3 result they wouldn't expect to see anything on the scan this early.

So she took my bloods today and I have a HCG level of 600. She asked me to go back in two days and see if they have doubled. So even though I've got some update not much really. Just hoping they double now and it was just too early for anything to come on the scan.

Oh and if they don't double they've got to find the pregnancy apparently because it's there just not sure where at the moment. Confused

Surprisingly I'm feeling much more hopeful now. Just keeping everything crossed.

Thanks for all the well wishes and thanks for giving me an outlet as DH wants to keep this between us at the moment.

Emz01 · 27/11/2017 19:41

Good luck for tomorrow OP! Signs are definitely looking good so far so really hope you get some positive news tomorrow! Fingers crossed for you!

SaturdaySauv · 27/11/2017 17:29

Best of luck for tomorrow OP Flowers

FML2017 · 27/11/2017 17:26

With my last miscarriage, a day after the bleeding started my tests had gotten very very faint, and were really slow to get darker before that, took longer than it should have to get from 1-2 to 2-3 weeks. Good luck! X

RaeCJ82 · 27/11/2017 17:18

I really hope that this isn't the case OP but I think levels can increase if all pregnancy tissue hasn't been passed or if it's an ectopic pregnancy. You really should be referred for a scan.

NimbleKnitter · 27/11/2017 17:18

It should be happening if you have a uterine pregnancy.

Generally with ectopic, the hcg rises more slowly, so this could be a good thing.

Best not second guess it though - wait for your scan
