@Owlpatrol yes! I am finding it so hard to not think about if this is our lucky month. Twws are the worst! I keep thinking I’m getting twinges in abdomen area then reminding myself I’m only 4dpo so unlikely to be anything exciting lol..

Anyone else finding it hard to pass the time? I'm about 10dpo today and time is dragging till I can maybe test Friday unless I've bad spotting by then

Well I’m now 8dpo and driving myself mad looking for symptoms... said I was going to be relaxed this month lol whoops!!

I got my blood test results back and they said that I had to repeat the full blood count because of "in inaccurate reading" they said that I was dehydrated! I find that hard to believe as I drink two litres a day!

IF December brings me my rainbow baby I will tell my parents on Christmas Day.. they were Ecstatic when I told them in August .. hopefully end 2017 with good news

I’m CD24 but have a long cycle so am 7dpo. I have engagement drinks on sat so will have to test a bit early on sat morning at 11dpo. We only dtd on the first day of my fertile window though as husband was away and I don’t feel pregnant though so just using this month as a practice to get to know my cycles and start trying next month!

So I just had a wee and wiped, and got blood . I'm swaying between excitement that it could be implantation (7 days po, cd24) or upset that af has arrived early. I'm cramping though so I think it's probably af

I'm totally with you @Merrz I already know my next cycle dates, af etc before the current one is out.. it's DP birthday the day before Xmas eve so I may test that day instead . Could go either way really tho.. scary thought actually .. FX for you x

Thanks everyone, so glad I'm not the only one. I feel awful for getting so wrapped up in everything, and it was all I could talk about. So I'm going to keep all the monitoring to myself now and just keep DP on a need to know as it's really hindered things. Luckily I haven't had a positive OPK yet

kkk87 Af showed up yesterday for me so i'm next due on boxing day, think i will test either xmas eve or day. It would be soo amazing to get a bfp and be able to tell dh on xmas day. But will be extra shit if af arrives on xmas!

sparkles I'm going to test tonight. My boobs are sooo painful and DH thinks they even look bigger (not hard!!)... fingers and toes crossed for all of us. Today is CD 27.

Pinkslink I'm no expert but i think you're cycles when you're on the pill (or the pill i was on anyway) are fake they are regulated by giving you a withdrawl bleed when you have your week of not taking the pill. You don't actually ovulate while you're on the pill. So you need to go with your natural cycles which will be 26 days if that's what you've had since being off the pill but just be aware in my experience and i know from some of these threads a lot of people could vouch for this, my cycles were all over the place for a few months after coming off the pill. I would test on Thursday and take a test with you to do saturday/sunday.
Nk1605 yes DH was the same when we started ttc so now i don't tell him about my opks etc and just try to encourage dtd as much as i can when i know it's around the right time. Obviously he still knows but i think because we don't speak about it, the pressure if off a bit

@nk1605 same with my oh, I realised what he was saying, I still opk in secret etc, but to make him happy I try to spice sex up a bit try new things etc.

Dp said last night that he thinks we should put off a baby and concentrate on moving in to our forever home. We're in a stronger position to go for a bigger mortgage, before we have mat leave/childcare/dc to pay for. So we'd be looking at probably postponing for a year.

We haven't 100% decided to do this but as much as I don't like it, I know it makes total sense. I'd kinda imagined we would have a baby by late 2018 so its going to be strange to readjust that.

AF isnt due until a week today though so im still keeping my fingers crossed for this month

My husband is more into the opks and chatting than I am. It's frustrating and a lot of pressure but I'm not sure if it's just because he's being over involved in my side of it.
Had to sit down and talk to him about sex still needing to be fun and not just about the end goal.
On another note my clear blue this morning refused to work. I had 5 sticks left from last cycle and the holder just didn't accept it, when it finally did and I sat and counted to 15 dipping the stick it just didn't work. Urine didn't soak up the test stick so I have an internet cheapie with me to test while I'm at work which will be fun

@Babydreaming. Yeah it was hormone and a few other things.

@nk1605. My dh would never say anything but I'm sure it's getting to him. The problem with ttc sex is that there's no spark, it's all mechanical. That's why I tries using the bloody clearblue opk so that I could narrow it down and then we wouldn't have to dtd as much but as I posted earlier, I'm not having much luck!

@Babydreaming No lol not static yet but I'm still hopeful. I usually feel nauseous during my luteal phase too.

I've decided that if it doesn't work cycle I think I'm going to pay for one of those ultrasound scans that can look at ovulation, they are about £150 but it might narrow it down a bit?

Last month my DH told me he couldn't face it, he was busy at work and just didn't have the energy. He said he felt like a piece of meat!

This month we really tried to make it more fun, trying to get back to being sexy and not just being about making babies!
