December Bus - Christmas Wishes

Hi all,

I’ve decided to take the plunge and make a December Bus. I know it’s still early in Nov but for those of us whose cycles fall early in the month it’ll be nice for us to have a new thread!

I’m 23
TTC #1
Cycle: 2

Had so many symptoms in October (unusual for my regular AF) so felt so disappointed when it wasn’t meant to be.

Anyway let’s hope December is our month and hope for that Christmas surprise! SmileHalloween GrinStar

@Babydreaming have you thought about getting a first response putting your mind at rest? X

Babydreaming · 02/12/2017 06:18

Little bit darker! Not a huge difference but I guess that’s why they advise waiting a few days before testing...don’t think I’ll trust it til I’m past AF date though (tues)! I think could still go either way!

Sparklesdontshine · 02/12/2017 06:01

Fingers crossed @babydreaming it gets darker

Babydreaming · 02/12/2017 05:42

I’ve just woken up as my baby is waking and I have a long work shift today...going to do a quick test and see if that line has dissapeared! Dreading it already.

Babydreaming · 02/12/2017 05:41

@impatientmama my hisband is away loads too! Usually about 1-2 times per month he has to go to Africa as he is a lawyer in oil and gas and does lots of work out there.

This month he actually went for a whole week over my fertile week except for the 1st day according to Ovia! We dtd on that day before he left and somehow got that BFP!! I think I must have ovulated a day early or something?

It’s super annoying though. I remember when TTC our 1st there were 3 months coming up when I was potentially in my fertile week and he was away. I was desperate for a baby and actually cried to him about it!!! Luckily we managed to
Conceive before those 3 months but it’s really frustrating when the opportunity is taken away by work!!

Gem173 · 02/12/2017 05:29

Just too my temp and it’s plummeted! My chart just does not look right now :/ this mornings temp was 34.83 degrees which is really low :/ I am snuggled up in a big duvet tho, usually I only have a few blankets so not sure if that makes a difference? Let me know what you think..

Im stevenage soph. Potters bar is a few towns south of me.

ImpatientMammy · 01/12/2017 22:19

Love the Christmas decks it's nice to see the chat a bit happier.
I'm on a night shift tonight should I still temp and OPK at the same time? I got a positive today but I want to keep doing it till it clears so I don't blame myself for not BDing enough if I get a BFN. My OH works away half of every month so he won't always be here for ovulation need to know we've done our best when he is. Anyone else's OH work away? X

FruitandNutty · 01/12/2017 22:01

Ooo @HoneyCake86 - love that we’re cycle buddies! Let’s keep each other updated Smile

AJ89 · 01/12/2017 21:56

@surreygirl1987 yes! Mine is saying 99 despite bfns!

sophherts · 01/12/2017 21:46

@HoneyCake86 oh whereabouts? I'm moving to potters bar!

surreygirl1987 · 01/12/2017 21:38

Oh but just want to add my annoyance at fertility friend... anyone have the VIP version of the app? You know the points bit in the pregnancy monitor section... It's giving me 95 points at the moment!! Which is ludicrous given my temps dropping and my many bfns! Definitely not to be trusted!!

surreygirl1987 · 01/12/2017 21:34

So many posts today I've only just got around to reading!! Congrats @babydreaming - lovely to hear the exciting news and gives us hope! :) bfn today for me and temp dropped so af def on the way, but feeling much cheerier about the whole thing today... at least it's the weekend and no bfp means I can drink as much as I like and eat tons of camembert at my Xmas party tomorrow :) hope you're all doing okay.

HoneyCake86 · 01/12/2017 21:08

I caved in and bought some cheapo preg tests. I may regret this after ive wound myself up 🙈😂

HoneyCake86 · 01/12/2017 21:04

Aw cool. I live there myself :)

sophherts · 01/12/2017 21:03

@HoneyCake86 I'm moving there in January!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 01/12/2017 20:55

@Owlpatrol. LOL my dh said the exact same thing to me last night about dtd every night - you should have seen my face. I definitely cannot dtd every night! We have been doing it every other night since cd 4, bar last night because I was so shattered! I think every other night is exhausting enough!

I can agree with this being a shit year. I thought having open chest surgery would be the hardest thing I had to live through but losing the baby was the worst most horrible thing that's ever happened to me.

HoneyCake86 · 01/12/2017 20:50

Fruitandnutty cycle buddy!! Im 7dpo too 😁
Sophherts im curious are you from herts or is it just a name?

LostMyBaubles · 01/12/2017 20:35

Ooo loving all this Christmas talk

This will be our first Christmas without our grandma. She loved Christmas.

I had a dream of her a few months ago.
She was helping me look after a baby girl

Owlpatrol · 01/12/2017 20:19

peterpanwendy · 01/12/2017 20:14

Gem173 · 01/12/2017 20:03

Pictures of my opks taken twice a day, shows that opks can darken and become lighter at any point in the cycle ! How confusing lol

@ImpatientMammy I’m 28 and it’s been 4 months ttc my first, which I realise isn’t long compared to some, but everyone in my circle has managed it in first or second month tops.

I did my tree last weekend and spent the day watching Harry Potter with DH! I plan to do the same this Sunday!

Fia256 · 01/12/2017 19:52

We did our tree this evening! Then dd has her dance show all this weekend so at least I won't have a second to breathe or think about testing! Or that's what I'm hoping anyway Grin
