Anyone in TWW?

Can I join please? I’m due af on 18th. Think I’m 6 or 7 dpo. Feel as though we have it our best shot this month (have been a bit lazy last three) so we will see. Of course dh is going away for a week tomorrow and so I’m torn as to do a cheeky early test or not. Don’t really fancy a) telling him over FaceTime or b) having to keep it a surprise until he gets home. Not that I’m getting my hopes up of course!

Hi everyone. I'm 9dpo (according to ff tracker) ovulation tests dont work for me and dont get ovulation pains.

Was taking temps for last 3 months but found the bloody thermometer was unreliable and not a bbt one, damn it. So started again with the proper bbt tracking in last 3 days.

Af due 17th but we'll see what happens, had alot of pelvic pain yesterday so not sure what that was. Desperately trying not to over symptom spot! Xx

Have just got a very faint line today at 14 DPO! Fingers crossed.

AF arrived a day early . Now into cycle 5 TTC

I hate the TWW. I go between not caring (or claiming not to) to being wildly optimisitc and then end up upset at the end of it.

Completely rediculous based on how many dpo I am but never mind I’m just going to drive myself mad, but...... I’ve been having this pain on my right side on and off it’s sort of like when you sneeze and it catches you, if that makes sense.
I’ve also been having really vivid dreams and had a migraine the other day which isn’t usual.
I’ve had two cups of coffee today and I usually have decaf tea!!! So to have coffee again is a bit strange, I could sleep for a week I’ve come to my mums for a lay down.
My boobs aren’t particularly hurting though....
Just sending myself crazy as we do!

We’re in a very similar situation, I have a short LP but I’m only 5dpo, my cervix is high I can’t even reach it. I don’t do temping though.
I’ve been having the most vivid dreams however.
When would implantation take place?

Hi, I’m 5dpo however I only have a 10day LP. We only managed to dtd once around the fertile period on the day of my peak. First time tracking. But this month I had really bad ovulation cramps to the point I nearly took painkillers.
Think I’m out but I’ll see clutching at straws.

BFN at 11 DPO

Just waiting for AF so I can try again. Had no symptoms though so that was a bit of a give away.

How's everyone doing ? Still no AF here (due yesterday so unusually late) but BFN Friday at at lesser 12 dpo and out of tests !

@onefortheroadplease To check your cervix, wash your hands, put one foot up on the edge of the toilet and insert your middle fingers as far as they will go. You will feel something at the top. If the cervix is very high (you can barely reach it), soft and open, it indicates ovulation as it is open to let sperm in.

Just before and during AF, it is low, firm and closed. In between ov and AF, it often varies or is somewhere in between.

It's really important to remember that the cervix can change a lot even in just one day and that everyone's behaves differently.

During pregnancy the cervix is high, very soft and closed but in some women this happens in the first weeks and in others, it takes much longer.

So mine is high, soft and closed right now and has been since just after I ovulated, which is why I'm wondering if I'm pregnant. But it's perfectly possible to be pregnant with a lower cervix that has not yet raised up and softened.

For those checking the cervix, how do you do this and what does it show?

Thanks Daernerys and Banda, that's good to hear, I have a shy early summer born DC1 who sobbed at my leg today in nursery so feeling wobbly about her going to school next year. I don't want to stop TTC so will probably keep trying... fingers crossed for everyone

I wouldn't be too worried. My son is an August baby and all I wanted was a healthy happy child. I'm a teacher and some summer born children (especially boys) start off lower than their peers but most catch up.

Ohno are you worried about them being the youngest in the year? I've thought that too but some of the most successful people I know are August babies

I might add that I also had implantation type pains on Tuesday so if it was implantation, I guess it would be too early for a BFP yet. Time will tell.

I'm 12 dpo today but I have a short L.P. and AF was due on Tuesday. No sign of it and no cramping. Am pretty sure I'm pregnant due to physical changes (lotiony CM, high soft and closed cervix, soft, swollen and padded vaginal walls, sore boobs and what felt like implantation on Saturday at 7 dpo). Got a BFN this morning but as AF is non existent, I'm still hopeful.
