(Think) I ovulated on Sunday. DTD several times at the right times(I think!) so it’s just a case of waiting now... boy oh boy, I’m driving myself nuts!! DH has no idea when I ovulate(don’t think he wants to know as it puts the pressure on him) so I’m flying solo on the 2ww. Which is where you guys come in Grin
Anyone else in the same boat? Fancy talking each other down from THAT shelf in the supermarket??

@igh05 it's so faint I can't see it but I believe you :) retest tomorrow or Thursday to get a stronger line. Apparently pregnancy hormones get stronger every two days. So excited for you!

Hulaballoo · 24/10/2017 07:14

I can see a v v faint one 😁 yay congrats

lgh05 · 24/10/2017 07:12

It's sooo faint on the pic. Can anyone see it?

Morning girls!! Well this morning at 3am I needed a wee so did a test and I got a very faint line on a clear blue early detection (Superdrug early detection showed nothing) woke up DH and got him to tell me what he saw whilst I covered the label so he didn't know what he was looking for and he said he could see a line down the middle! The picture I took doesn't show the line at all but in real life there was definitely a line!

Gem173 · 24/10/2017 02:51

Yeah I feel the same, although I don't know what symptoms are from coming off the pill as this is first time. Just need to get in my head that if AF comes then try not to be disappointed haha. Secretly done a Poundland test this morning bfn as presumed so roll on AF.

Lollylollypopxo · 24/10/2017 01:05

Yeah I know how you feel, I'm having so many weird symptoms ATM but I'm just thinking well is it af coming or is it from coming off the pill but I've never experienced it like this before

Somethininthewater · 23/10/2017 23:45

I honestly don’t know what to prepare myself for?? These pains I’m getting are making me wonder. Is it a really weird af due to stopping the pill(although never had this before when I’ve stopped it) or is this a good sign?

I think doing IC for me definitely keeps me sane, just so I'm prepared 😂

I know! I’m living our chats! Another IC for me in the morning. Keeps me ‘sane’... I think?!

Gem173 · 23/10/2017 22:23

Everytime I go on here, our chat goes further and further down the list, let's try keep it active ! I still want to stay in contact and know how your TTC is going!

Gem173 · 23/10/2017 16:12

Sounds good to me :) everyone has different plans or none at all haha let's hope we get our BFP soon!

lgh05 · 23/10/2017 16:08

Yeah I didn't realise how amazing having a child would be so In a way I just got on with it and then tested a day or two before my period I wasn't fretting like this time during the 2ww! She is nearly 4 now and feel ready to start it all again! I got a clear blue early detection test it was on offer in Superdrug £9 for 2 I think, says it's 97% accurate 4 days before but who knows. May just try one of them tomorrow morning, or maybe do a cheap one first. My husband is a deputy head teacher, and although I am a summer baby (June) for us we would if possible like to avoid August as we think it would be bad timing just before my little girl starts school and his summer holidays would be nearly over. A July baby would mean we get the time off as a 4 over the summer to get used to life and adjust and then my daughter starts school in the September so it will feel a softer transition. So if we try again in December we will have a September baby, so the pros of that for us are just the fact that the little ones get a head start really (academically), my daughter is November and she looks miles older than all the cute little summer babies. They are just our reasons and some will disagree being selective over birth month, if we are still trying in a year I won't care when the baby is born but at the moment feel we have a little bit of freedom with our loose planning. X

Gem173 · 23/10/2017 15:47

@Igh05 why would you like to avoid August? I don't really mind when I am in labor. We just taking it day by day. Probably will end up month by month haha your lucky to have conceived your daughter so quick! Must have been so happy finding out your pregnant like 2 weeks later!

Peanutty86 · 23/10/2017 15:46

@lgh05 I would keep it but wait for a few days until AF was due. I’ll only do mine when all the ICs show positive and the line on the FRER is so strong the I know it will be positive and I will actually see the word pregnant. More for husband than for me....

lgh05 · 23/10/2017 15:41

Yeah it's my first cycle for this this baby, with my daughter it happened straight away we decided that day we wanted to try and I know I got pregnant that night (was just luck that it happened to be when I was ovulating) so our plan is if I get a bfn this month then we leave till December as we would like to avoid august if poss,

lgh05 · 23/10/2017 15:39

5 wee's today *

Gem173 · 23/10/2017 15:28

@Igh05 well it's my first cycle ever so I don't really want to be that disappointed. Ive never had any symptoms like I got now however I started the pill two years ago so I can't even remember what symptoms of pms I had. It's weird it's like has my body always been in this much pain!? Haha I dunno had a talk with my partner and he's got annoyed that I'm spending too much money and have been told to rein it in and wait a till afs due, so got to do as the boss says (maybe do some in secret ;) ) I'm quite patient I guess because I came off pill a month ago and I know that it can take a few months so I doubt it I'm pregnant this month. Would be very happy if I was. But won't be too disappointed if not.

lgh05 · 23/10/2017 15:23

@Gem173 you are doing really well waiting I just took one after about 5 weeks already today- totally pointless and got a bfn not sure what I was expecting really!

Gem173 · 23/10/2017 15:23

Yeah get a first response early response. I've heard very positive things about it !

lgh05 · 23/10/2017 15:22

So is it worth returning the clear blue, or use for reassurance when I may need it between BFP and scans? And what is the test people recommend first response? Not Superdrug test? Read so much conflicting things. X

Gem173 · 23/10/2017 15:02

F* it I'm gunna wait till af is due :) guys you can tell me off if I succumb to the pressure of poas!! Lol not long to go and il find out x

Gem173 · 23/10/2017 14:54

@Igh05 I think we are 4 days before period

Somethininthewater · 23/10/2017 14:30

Agree about clear blue. Waste of money. So many dodgy ‘positives’ in the past for me. You end up buying a frer anyway!
