Hi guys, been reading loads of threads over the past few days. I am now 2dpo on my first cycle of ttc #1. I've created this thread to see if anyone had any success In conceiving in the first month or so. Really trying not to be crazy or obsessive but this is all new to me! I came off the pill last month so I know there's an unlikely chance of getting pregnant due to hormones. But if anyone has any comments, feel free to share!
Flowers Good luck to everyone xx

Me! I conceived 5 weeks after having mirena coil removed. I had a one day period about 4 weeks after removal and conceived the following week. Baby is due in 9 days. I get the impression it happens more often than people realise (although that's my experience from a group of us aged 26-30). Hope you get your bfp quickly!

Fell pregnant one weekend without protection for first DC, same weekend as we decided to start trying with DC2 and one drunken night with no protection for DC3. Needless to say, I am very careful with protection as we don't want any more DC.

No.1 took two cycles, no.2 took one.

Before we went into this we thought we would have problems and thought no.1 would take years to conceive...!

I was pregnant from first time of not using contraception for 4/6 pregnancies. Second month for other two.

DC1 took a year. DC2 took 1 night. And I was still breastfeeding No1.

Oh and for DC1 I’d been thinking n the pill for 16 years. Didn’t go back on it after, so that may be a factor.

Marmite27 · 15/10/2017 18:43

DC1 took 5 months, DC2 took 1. We were surprised, we thought we’d have a few more months so DC1 would be on 3 year funding st Nursery. So it’ll be more expensive than expected. But we’ll be fine.

I’m 37.
