I think you should try and demand them that it is. Say you've never had AF go over 30 days apart from when pg. Definitely mention the bleeding on 8dpo as well - make sure they are aware you are worried.

Lexie100 and Cheechymunchy fingers, toes and everything else crossed. We're due a BFP on this thread its been a while.

scorpio1 · 18/04/2007 16:00

i have booked a doctors appointment for 9.50am tomorrow,

i am going to tell him when my last period was and that im getting abit concerned as to what is happening in there-especially as i had that odd speck of bleeding about 8dpo.i am afraid that a baby has implanted but failed to grow, therefore not producing hcg to be picked up by a test.should i ask for a blood test to check hormone levels do you think?i will be 3 weeks late for period by saturday, its long enought to wait isnt it?

cheechymunchy · 18/04/2007 12:11

Hey Lexie, when I got pregnant last time I did 4 (count 'em) tests that were BFNs, and eventually reached CD47 before BFP turned up. it got to the point that I couldn't sleep on my stomach because BBs were too painful. Hang in there, chick.

My AF was due (on average) yesterday. Sorry BBabymumma - frantic knickerwatching today. I'm guilty!

scorpio1 · 18/04/2007 12:02

Hannah sorry bout af

My longest cycle so far has been 30 days before this one!

Lexie-good luck!

Bbabymumma · 18/04/2007 12:01

Fingers crossed Cheechymunchy. When is AF due? Avoid knickerwatching.

Bbabymumma · 18/04/2007 12:00

Shame about BFN Lexie100 - I shall be watching to see if any news tomorrow morning. It's not over till the AF sings. I had lots of BFNs when I was pg if that helps.

Colleague at work who sits next to me just asked if I was pg again because I'm being such a moody cow. I wish people didn't say things like that - it really gets the hopes up!

cheechymunchy · 18/04/2007 11:59

Hi everyone,

Hannah, so sorry to hear AF made her unwelcome appearance. Hope you've got some someshine where you are, to enjoy with that HUGE glass of wine. If it's any consolation, my mother, brother and myself all conceived in May - I think it's something to do with the Bank Holidays chilling everyone out, so enjoy May and see what happens.

No doubt I'll be joining you - still no sign of AF today but lots of twinges last night. I'm not hopeful.

x

Lexie100 · 18/04/2007 11:24

Morning all. Well no sign of AF and for the past 4 AF's it's been exactly on time (10 DPO). Did a cheap PG test yesterday and got a BFN but not first morning. Not sure i was doing the test right but what can go wrong. If no sign tomorrow will do first response test first thing in the morning.

HannahMTW · 18/04/2007 10:53

Thanks you two! You're right, mustn't obsess! Think the hormones making it worse! HUGE glass of wine for me tonight, lots of unnecessary chocolate eating today and perhaps a bit of clothes shopping!

I hope all goes well for you and that you won't need to be on a TTC thread but a BFP thread!

Loads of luck, and hope all goes well with the doc Scopio

Bbabymumma · 18/04/2007 10:50

I agree tigerschick. I'm awful when AF arrives, get so worked up. Have to view it as another month. Who wants to have dd or ds born at end on Dec, beg of Jan anyway.

Yes thats him. Can't remember why they split up. He was quite pleasant I believe.

tigerschick · 18/04/2007 10:43

Yes Bbm - Josh Lewsey plays for Wasps and England. He used to be a soldier and went to Sandhurst. When he first started playing he used to stand to attention when they played the national anthem, but I think he's packed that in now.

tigerschick · 18/04/2007 10:41

So sorry about your af Hannah. Try not to obsess too much, if you start thinking about it too closely you'll drive yourself to distraction.
Chin up and onward to May

Bbabymumma · 18/04/2007 10:40

HannahMTW sorry to hear that. I hope you are ok. My cycle was extraordinarily long last month which was unusual and eventually AF arrived and was heavy and I felt v tired but I had tested and had only got BFNs. Who knows. We won't unfortunately. Good luck for May. Have a nice drink tonight!

Tigerschick - my mate from school went out with Josh Lewsey at uni. He's a rugby player yes? quite blonde if I remember rightly. I don't think football players are at all attractive any more. Just spoilt chavs. Had a crush on Gary Linekar in 1988 though. Can't believe I admitted that.

HannahMTW · 18/04/2007 10:29

Hi all! Hope all ok today.

I'd go to the doc scorpio, it's v long for you, how long have your cycles gone on before?

Well I officially have to give up hope now, AF came late last night so rather gutted. Hormones are definitely all over the place, haven't been so teary in ages! Never had such a long cycle before (38). Could something have been wrong? Or do you think I nearly got preg but went wrong? Think I'm looking for any reason to suggest I might have been almost PG so I know it is possible for me!

Well here's to a successful May!

tigerschick · 18/04/2007 10:22

It's up to you, Scorpio, but, if you can spare the time and the energy then it might be worth it, just so you know you've done something about it.

bbabymumma - dd much better ta. She had v last tuesday, d lsat wednesday then a bit of v everyday until sunday - mostly just after we put her down at night!

Rugby men are lovely! The ugly ones are actually really sweet so that makes up for their lack of looks and the good looking ones are really sweet too so that's just fab! It's none of your 'high-paid-greater-than-tho' footballer rubbish! At Tigers the players walk to the pitch thru the crowd and always sign autographs/have pictures taken etc as they leave the pitch after matches. It's well worth a visit - and the game is only 80 mins so it's not too long if you aren't sure about it!

Bbabymumma · 18/04/2007 10:22

Go on phone the doctor. Demand a blood test. Whats your longest cycle been? Something is going on and you need to know. How long would a blood test take them? They don't even do it themselves! Remember they are on £100k a year - get them to do some work.

Lexie100 - have you any news?

scorpio1 · 18/04/2007 10:10

so does everyone think i should ring doctor? have worked out im cd40 now-very unusual for me.my boobs arent even sore which is normally a good indicator for af arrival. tmi alert: cm is like it should be for later half of cycle but is changing alot?i just reckon i'll get there and he will say just to wait and see, but as far as im concerned its just wasting time for me to try again next cycle.

Bbabymumma · 18/04/2007 10:02

Morning ladies - last day in work for me this week - yippee!

How are you all?

Tigerschick - what are these rugby men like then? How's your dd. Has the d followed the v? Mine took a week to get over it. Nasty. Have fun in the park.

Scorpio1 - you are going to have the nicest bag at uni. Sorry to hear you got a BFN. No AF though - bizarre! You said this happened last time you were pg? Any symptoms? Sorry don't mean to encourage good ol' symptom spotting.

Fifisworld was about to be extremely dum and suggest you were pg hence tiredness and then remembered doh! Tiredness is a great sign i think. Make sure you rest. Get dp to put keys under a brick near a plant pot.

CD20 - I'm on the home run to AF!

tigerschick · 18/04/2007 08:54

Morning all! [sings "the sun has got his hat on ..."]

Fifi - glad to hear you're generally ok. The tiredness is a drag, isn't it.

Scorpio - Still no af, hey? Unpredictable cow! Are you gonna wait til Friday before going to the doc? Did you get loads of bfns before or didn't you test that much? You must be going nuts over this! I'd hate that feeling of limbo, at least with me I never know when to expect af so I'm never late, iykwim!

Hope everyone else is doing ok today. Anyone ready to test?

We're off to the park today - lived in this village nearly 2 years and only just realised there is a play park

fifisworld · 18/04/2007 08:27

Scorpio - Have you spoke to your doctor?
Maybe he could arrange a blood test or something for you???
I feel fine, just tired all the time.
Dp took the day off yesterday for us to spend some time together, but i was so tired by 2pm i had to have a lie down, and he's playing football after work so wont get home till about 10pm and forgot his key so i'll have to wait up for him.

scorpio1 · 18/04/2007 08:17

Good morning

How is everyone?

Still no af here.i don't know what to do about it-what does everyone think? i am now 12 days late and bfn again this morning.

tigerschick · 17/04/2007 21:55

I know what you mean but it is nice to dream sometimes, isn't it?

Well, that's me done for the day, 'see' you all tomorrow.

tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow
[Tiger wanders off happily bedward]

scorpio1 · 17/04/2007 21:43

tigerschick · 17/04/2007 21:40

[glances around the room whistling a little tune]
