plummymummy · 20/04/2007 08:37

Doh, I meant a normal period!

plummymummy · 20/04/2007 08:36

Well they do say some women who get an early +ve go on to lose it and wouldn't have even known if they hadn't tested as it would just seem like a normal pg iyswim. Are there any other ultra sensitive tests that anyone can recommend?

plummymummy · 20/04/2007 08:33

Also of Scorpio as I'm the same height but nearly 3 stone heavier. Was 10.5 pre ds which was about right for me, but finding it hard to lose weight and frankly don't see the point as ttc. Don't overeat or eat the wrong foods but should exercise more. Have started swimming again, so at least have started

goingfor3 · 20/04/2007 08:31

I was getting very feint lines with the babymad test and then my period started. I'm not going to use them again.

plummymummy · 20/04/2007 08:29

Well some exciting developments on here. Fingers crossed for Lexie, Beckle, Bbabymuma (cycle buddy), Scorpio and myself . Well I have a confession to make. Been feeling extra tired this week (went to bed at 9pm wednesday night and slept right through - v unusual for me as I usually go to bed around midnight or even later)so yesterday I did an ultra sensitive test and it was blank apart from the control line. It wasn't fmu so I did another one this morning and there was a v faint line. Repeated it and same thing. Now, has anyone used the babymad tests from ebay? It's just that looking at the instructions the two lines (control and test) should be closer together than mine are. Aaaaggggggggghhhhh, why do these things always seem to happen to me! I am still 4 days early. Maybe I should buy a first response?

Lexie100 · 20/04/2007 07:42

Morning - where are you all???

Still no AF, resisted the temptation to test this am .

What's the news today?

Lexie100 · 19/04/2007 19:52

Hi all.

Scorpio - good news in a strange kinda way. Glad you'r ok.

Tiger - i'm fine just waiting patiently for AF or a BFP.

Anyone else given in and tested today?? I must resist tomorrow. I may just have to go out all day so i can't be near a test .

becklespeckle · 19/04/2007 19:48

Hiya all, glad you got some answers Scorpio, with sore boobs and tears you could still be pg you know! Just ov'd later than you thought. Would love to be tall! I am 6 1/2 inches shorter than you and don't weigh much less and people are always telling me to eat more, you must be tiny!
When is AF due BbabyMumma? Bloody nature has a nasty way of tricking us doesn't it - do you usually get sicky when AF due? I just usually get sore boobs, bloating and spots - I don't even really get cramps and never before it arrives.

tigerschick · 19/04/2007 18:02

Glad to hear you got some answers, Scorpio, and that you're reasonably happy with them. I'm not sure I like you any more tho ... I'm 3 inches shorter than you, and 2 stone (and a bit) heavier And I've only had 1 baby!

scorpio1 · 19/04/2007 17:53

doctor said just to wait:

i was on antibiotics for 20 days, strong ones for tonsilitis, he said this is what has done it.also because i was ill i lost weight, and that wont help either.(im now less than 9 stone and im 5'10)so basically just wait.im not too fussed because i know i can have babies, its just a case of when, really.thats fine at least there is nothing wrong.he was very thorough too, so thats good!

my boobs are hurting tons today so maybe af will be here soon, and im very emotional (cried whilst reading!) so she must be here soon!

Thanks all for asking

and my bag is here today!im taking it out tomorrow

tigerschick · 19/04/2007 17:52

ME? QUIET? NEVER

You OK Lexie?

Lexie100 · 19/04/2007 17:34

Hi all. What a lovely day. Looks like there are a few of us just waiting and waiting.

Scorpio - any news.....

Everyone else is very quiet!

Bbabymumma · 19/04/2007 16:19

Hi all, hope you're all good.

Went to my mum's to use the computer check for any news! Beckle - sounds like good news for you but no congratulations I promise. V.exciting.

Lexie100 - getting excited for you too. Oh fingers crossed 3 times over. My dd up every 2 hours last night. Madness. No reason for it yet again. Probably teeth (the usual excuse)

Had horrible cramps yesterday and today, 8dpo and 9dpo. Could have just been something I ate but it felt very AF crampy. Was feeling sicky and off food yesterday but not today. My body is yet again doing another Oscar nomination impression of being pg.

Cheechymunchy - these bloomin cramps!

Plummymummy - think I have the same cycle as you. Am trying to hold out testing until late next week (yeh right).

Awen - lots of luck for the next cycle.

Tiger - how are you?

Scorpio1 - where are yooouuuuu? any news?

becklespeckle · 19/04/2007 14:44

Oooh Lexie, looks good for you too. I had cramps Monday night and Tuesday morning - would have been 10/11 dpo. Fingers crossed for you!

Lexie100 · 19/04/2007 14:35

Oh becklespeckle they say there is no such thing as a faulse positive - yay lets hope all is good news.

Still no AF. Cramps have gone so could have been implantation (trying not to get hopes up). Am now DPO12 (2 days overdue for AF) so will wait till sunday and test again.

becklespeckle · 19/04/2007 14:20

Cheers Tigers

tigerschick · 19/04/2007 14:17

OK Beckle. I've got my fingers crossed for you but no congratulations.

becklespeckle · 19/04/2007 14:06

Hello! How are we all today? Got a confession to make (the Clearblue Fairy will be cross) AF not here yet for me so was very very naughty and did a test this morning. I was going to wait until Sunday as that is when I think I am actually due but I had an appt to look at a dodgy mole today and I was worried in case they wanted to remove it (which they do) and I was pg - don't know how local anaesthetic is with pg. Anyway - nothing showed up immediately, control line and that was it - checked it a couple of mins later and there was the faintest of faint lines - same thickness as the control line but faint. Obviously I know I was quite early to test but am glad I did now! It was only a cheap ebay test and I did another one at lunch time with the same very faint line - am trying not to get my hopes up too high but the second line definitely appeared within 2-3 minutes and I don't usually get any lines other than the control line on these cheap ones. I am now going to sit tight until Saturday or Sunday when I will test again, it should be darker by then if I am pg (if not, judging by boobs, AF will be here). Also I have a touch of Thrush (sorry TMI ) which I had when first pg with both DSs (but not with m/cs). I told specialist today I thought I might be pg so he said he would wait a few weeks, check mole again but prob not remove it until 2nd trimester. He said it does not look cancerous but also does not look quite right. Please don't congratulate me yet though, I don't want to jinx this when I have waited for so long!

cheechymunchy · 19/04/2007 12:47

Hi there, difficult to get to PC at home when DH is here - he works from home sometimes. Well, still no sign of AF. Am now 9DPO and 8DPO has been my longest in the last 10 months or so. Trying to ignore the cramps and read a book in the sun.

Hope all are well. Will write again tomorrow when I'm back at work...tsk, naughty me!

x

plummymummy · 19/04/2007 11:36

Hi all. Sorry about those of you whose period have arrived and hopeful for those who are late. I've forgotten when I'm due on but I think it's in 6 days time (for a 28 day cycle). Bought some cheap tests via internet so might use them over the weekend so I know whether I can drink Scorpio, good luck at the docs mate.

tigerschick · 19/04/2007 11:31

Morning all.

Lexi - got my fingers crossed for you. Hope you get your bfp soon.

Scorpio - What did the doc say?

Awen - Hope the next cycle is more successful for you.

Everyone else - Hi and hope you are well and happy

Lexie100 · 19/04/2007 07:38

Well AF still a no show. Did test again this am and got a BFN. I think it could be something to do with having a short DPO and may have to wait longer for HGC to rise. Well my excuse. No real AF cramps but also trying NOT to get excited. DH very calm and rational.

MamaMaiasaura · 18/04/2007 21:16

Hi honeys

Sorry for the low profile. Started back at work on Monday and been very busy. Tested as planned Tuesday and no surprise to BFN. So started provera till Sat and hopefully AF will show on Monday (please not Sunday as going sailing overnight on Saturday unless ds playing in mini rugby tournement)

Sorry to hear about AF's. Scorpio, good luck at drs xx

Fingers cross for lexie & cheechy.

I am going to say hi to the May thread and wait for old AF to arrive. Also will try and follow consultants advice of laying of internet

Lexie100 · 18/04/2007 17:04

Scorpio - glad you have booked an appointment. Just tell the Dr everything. Will be thinking of you.

All due AF's any news? Mine still not shown up so but still waiting for AF.

Hope everyone has had a fab day. DD been good after a really bad night - waking almost every hour. I am going to try her in a bed tonight for the first time. It can't get much worse!!!!

tigerschick · 18/04/2007 16:41
