Hey BeckleSpeckle,
Let's both hold off the testing together! I've not bothered telling DH yet that I'm late. It'll make it more exciting when I tell him. Look at me getting ahead of myself here.

My LP is usually 5 days, and the maximum I've had in the last year is LP8 so I'm nervous as hell, particularly since I've got a big party to go to at the beginning of May and will have to hide the non-drinking.

I should be doing work but I keep Googling "early pregnancy symptoms" and getting all excited whenever I need the loo AGAIN.

I just know in the back of my mind I'll be trotting over to TTC May by Monday...

Congrats Furrymummy

Scorpio, looks like I will be joining you on the May thread. Spotting started just after my previous post and now not red yet but lots of brown discharge on the pad so period inevitable. Not that sad. Can drink without feeling guilty. My last few periods have come around 22-25 days so my cycle is getting shorter. Will have to start trying earlier in the month I reckon.

becklespeckle · 20/04/2007 12:48

Sorry 1wish, don't do supplements either!
Cheechy - Well done for getting to 10dpo, is your LP usually a lot shorter? Anyone who is holding off testing is doing sooo well. Am glad I tested yesterday because of the anaesthetic thing but now I am worried it was tricking me and inventing loads of symptoms for myself! Still haven't tested again though, I AM going to wait until tomorrow! I had absolutely terrible backache on Wednesday night which I put down to stupid chair was sitting on at work (too low for me, shortarse that I am) - fingers crossed it is going to be good news for you!

becklespeckle · 20/04/2007 12:43

1Wish · 20/04/2007 10:53

Hi sorry to butt in,
does anyone know anything about evening primrose and starfolwer oil. I've been taking 1000mg evening prim and 500mg starflower oil for a few days now but it says on each bottle 'not to exceed the recommended daily dose'

Wondering if taking both could be too much

Sorry for tmi but it seems to have made my af 3 days longer, not heavy but really, really dark. Wondering if its a positive thing, abit of a clear out maybe? sorry tmi

cheechymunchy · 20/04/2007 10:46

Hi everyone, very busy at work today, but couldn't resist popping in as soon as I could. Still no sign of AF but have got godawful backache today. I think it's just stress at work and these dreadful chairs that is doing it. Still getting the twinges too. On 10dpo now, which is amazing for me. Am trying to just get through to perhaps Monday before I start testing.

How's everyone else?

Lexie100 · 20/04/2007 10:19

I agree with the hold off on the testing- oh it's hard but you never know how accurate these tests are. Plus there are so many stories on MN about evap lines etc. It isn't over till she arrives and i think it's better not to get BFN's for my mental health. Waiting seems to be easier, i think [humm].

3 days late now and DPO 13. So many of us so close now. I am getting excited for everyone.

scorpio1 · 20/04/2007 10:10

plummy-if you want wine, have a glass or 2.it will be fine

Tiger-yeah they did tell me,i had to have them though,i was so ill!

becklespeckle · 20/04/2007 09:54

Morning all! Looking good for a few of us now! Would be lovely for a few more of us to go over to Dec a/n thread! Was really good this morning and didn't do another test, am going to do one tomorrow cos it should be much darker if am pg. Feel sick this morning but I think that is nerves TBH. What are babymad tests? The ebay ones I used are these ones.

tigerschick · 20/04/2007 09:53

Then relax and try to enjoy the weekend - the odd glass of wine will not make any difference (please don't shoot me!) and test on Tuesday if AF stays away

plummymummy · 20/04/2007 09:48

I think my period is due tuesday.

tigerschick · 20/04/2007 09:30

Morning all!

Plummy - I really would wait if I were you. It's really disappointing to be looking at evap lines then get a bfn, trust me, I know! Fingers crossed for you - when is af due?

Scorpio - I think Awen has moved over to May. She seemed quite philosophical about it really.
You OK? It's strange about the anti-biotics, didn't they warn you when you were given them that they might mess with your cycle? Hope you have a nice lunch/

Dh and I had a row this morning coz dd was awake from 3.55 til 5.15 and he had to go to work at 6.00. He said I should just feed her but I don't want to get into that habbit. It's so tricky trying to balance both of their needs. But he's just texted to say sorry for being grumpy

plummymummy · 20/04/2007 09:20

Hmm I suppose you are right (as usual). My excuse for early testing is to know whether it's ok to have a glass or two of wine - but I doubt whether that would do much to the pg anyway. I think I'm just using it as an excuse!

scorpio1 · 20/04/2007 09:16

Plummy-hold out on the testing!they are the devil in disguise.

buy a first response to do on the day you are due-if you are pg you will still be pg in 3 mornings time sweetie!(i know how hard and terrible it is waiting though)!

still no af here, sore boobs still.very confused but not bothered IYKWIM?TBH,not sure if im ovulating soon?the doc explained that because of antibiotics its basically an exempt cycle,so in theory i could and prob will ovulate without having a period.im starting to get signs of impending ov-and dp home all weekend!! if its not ov though, thats fine too, i'll just wait!

its so sunny and beautiful here today.meeting some friends for lunch today

everyone else, how are things?where is awen?is she ok?

plummymummy · 20/04/2007 09:16

Oh and my nipples feel like glass. Don't usually get this pre period.
