ps - there's no way I'm starting the Jan 2008 thread. I'll hide for a bit. xx

Bbabymumma · 24/04/2007 09:39

its been quite a lucky thread I think. I like to think it was daisyboohoos fertility charm that helped.... and the grapefruit juice. We have been trying for ages so quite shocked.

Ambi · 24/04/2007 09:37

Come and join us in due in dec, it's not scary honest, (not sure if there's a due in jan thread yet)

Morning ladies

Okay - I couldn't wait to test on Wednesday so I woke up at 5am this morning desperate for a wee and did a test and got a (she whispers very very queitly) bfp. Haven't been back to sleep since.

Very early days. Can I hide in here with you for a bit? Feel very anxious (but a little sick too). xx

Lexie100 · 23/04/2007 17:25

Anniemac - DPO is from day after ov to day before AF. I hope she's not here.

And talk about every cramp etc meaning something. I have decided to just keep very busy and not think about it. Well trying to

we'll drive ourselves stark raving mad by the end of the day. Who knows. Lets see. Shame we can't have a drink (just in case!) to calm the nerves. Where's that camomile tea?

ohhh I'm just symptom spotting and analysing every twinge as usual. I was really really hungry at lunch time, stuffed myself and then felt really really sick. Can't drink tea either - but then again, couldn't drink tea last month either (it was a dv bug impersonating pg).

You never know Anniemac- it's still not here is it!

I think I will test Weds am if AF still not with me. Its excruciating waiting.

Anniemac when did the cramps start? Could it be implantation pains? I had funny cramps at 9 and 10 dpo as well but they appear to have passed. Is it true tests don't normally show a +ve till 10dpo? I might be wrong.

At least AF has not arrive yet.

Got it (I typed that as "go tit" first ) in my diary to chase them up at 4 weeks. Hopefully won't get that far, they are pretty good at our surgery.

Glad it wasn't af.

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 12:39

That was close - phheww! No, just cm. Gross sorry.

Do chase the doctors if it goes over the 4 weeks. They are very good at being useless (apologies for generalising if any good gps are out there).

tigerschick · 23/04/2007 12:29

Yes, it's always been like that tho, as a teenager I 'controlled' it with the pill. I went to the doctor about 3 weeks ago adn he said he'd sort me out a scan and it'd be about 4 weeks so it should be some time next week - I'm just waiting to hear. I've also had some blood taken.

Hope that's not your af showing up ... ?

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 12:26

How very rude of her! Am sorry to hear that your AF is like that. Do you have a scan booked to see whats going on? Is it a long wait? Has it always been like that? I had a friend who had a similar problem at College and we were always jealous of her lack of AF's. I now realise what a mixed blessing it was.

Am going to have to run to the loo. Something is going on down there.....

tigerschick · 23/04/2007 12:18

Well, fingers crossed for you all. It's getting exciting again after a week or so of disappointments I hope we get a few more bfps around here!

Bbabymumma - My af shows up every now and then with little or no warning, hangs around for any where between 5 and 14+ days then buggers off for a few months again. She was last here in January, so it's anyone's guess when she'll show her face again. I'm just mooching along waiting for a scan to see if there is a reason why she's so unpredictable. It's good in as much as I don't have many periods, but bad as it means I have less chances of getting pg. Also it's a pain to be so unpredictable!

Bbabymumma · 23/04/2007 12:13

You last tested on Saturday? I got a BFN for ages with my dd if that helps. This bit is the worse bit I think. You feel like you are going mad imagining things. I'll be glad either way when its over. If its a BFN I hope AF arrives quickly so I can indulge in a nice bottle of wine and loads of pate.

Am on knickerwatch just in case. Remembered not to wear black ones today!

Lexie100 · 23/04/2007 11:43

BM - sounds like we'll be testing on the same day! I'm actually really nervous about doing it just incase i get another BFN. I think that's why i have waited so long!

Anniemac - i hope she stays away.
