tigerschick · 13/04/2007 17:18

Hi Lexie. I'm TTC no2 as well but found a comfy spot on this thread instead. Don't know what I'll do next month

Have you been ttc long? Hope you get your bfp soon.

Hope everyone else is ok this afternoon.

fifisworld · 13/04/2007 17:16

Hello Lexie

April has been a very lucky thread i think theres been about 8 of us with BFP's so far and its only the 12th, plenty time for more
I keep hanging round this thread as well, everyones really supportive on here and there hardly ever seems to be anyone around on the Due Dec thread either.

I hope everyones ok today.xx

Lexie100 · 13/04/2007 17:09

Can i join. Been on the TTC second but there doesn't seem to be anyone left to talk to so thought i'd join you. Lots of BFP's which is fab.

DD17 months. Been trying for 5 months and no joy. CD17 but due on in 5 as have very short cycle. DPO maybe too short to conceive?

tigerschick · 13/04/2007 12:50

Sorry you were right Scorpio, IYKWIM!

Just been to a garden centre with neighbour who happens to be a trained horticulturist! Handy when we've been given £100 of vouchers to spend! Only managed to spend £25 tho! Never had so much trouble spending money before! It's hard to explain to someone about us not wanting something that they have, isn't it? I said I don't want any plants with berries coz of dd, neighbour replied, 'oh that never bothered me!' I didn't know what to say without it sounding like I think she's a bad mother - which she definately isn't! I blamed dh in the end, saying he's a bit paranoid

Hope everyone is ok today and that the afs that haven't turned up, don't!

I cut my finger on a blade from the food processor - daft bat!

daisyboohoo · 13/04/2007 12:32

Well I still have my fingers crossed for you xx

Maybe you should go back and check it incase you missed a line?

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 12:26

it probably would have showed up on a test that sensitive

daisyboohoo · 13/04/2007 12:22

Oh Scorpio why did you test? You know you've said so many times you dont get a BFP til you're 7 wks +. Just go easy on the beers until you know for sure...
Still have fingers crossed for you all and fertility charm by computer.

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 11:57

oh and i just tested with a 10miu sensitive test (very sensitive) and it was negative-see i told you all!i'm still settling down after my coil, although if my period isn't here by next week i will pop to the doctors to see what he thinks.

I'm not sad or anything, because i knew/know i'm not.now i just want my period to hurry up so we can get trying again!

Can i stay here though to see whats happening please?i feel quite settled here!

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 11:52

Gracie, i think we all go through phases like that sweetie it will be ok in the end

Gracie14 · 13/04/2007 11:30

scorpio - Thanks for asking, I don't know whats wrong with me feeling really low and keep crying for no reason. I've been really horrible to my DP for the last couple of days and he hasn't done anything wrong.

So much for TTC - he won't want to come anywhere near me soon in case he gets his head bitten off

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 11:26

Gracie-re-test in 2 days time.you stil may be pg maybe wait until af week or 2 late to go docs?

hope you are ok?

Gracie14 · 13/04/2007 11:26

Okay - I've just reread my post and realised that you all must think I'm mad.

'I've planned a holiday around ovulating!!!!!!!!'

I must be desperate

Gracie14 · 13/04/2007 11:24

jhyesmum - Sorry I should have said I was due Monday so 4 days late.

It's proberbly ridiculous saying about the doctors it's just I've never been late since coming off the pill in August 2006.

I'm sure about not being pregnant, due to a number of BFN's but we'd planned a holiday around the time I was next meant to ovulate and this is just messing everything up

Sorry for the rant

jhyesmum · 13/04/2007 11:18

Hi Gracie - sorry if you've already said but when are you/were you due??

Gracie14 · 13/04/2007 11:15

Hi all,

Still no AF, I tested this morning when I promised myself I wouldn't and it was a BFN. I haven't got any other signs of being pregnant I don't know why I torture myself so much.

Do you think I should go to the doctors on Monday if still no AF or is that being stupid?

MamaMaiasaura · 13/04/2007 10:12

Hi guys. Feeling less today and more in perspective. Spoke to consultant's secretary today, was calm and not all teary like yesterday. She said that the consultant was likely to cxall me over weekend from home (bless her). tbh i dont suppose a few days is going to make that much difference and gives AF a chance to show up on her own without being coaxed out.

Becklespeckle - no pressure men sometimes dont get the complexities of it do they? All they have to do is make a deposit.. no charting, temping, checking cm (although they prob wouldnt mind that bit! )

Scorpio - Good luck with the handbag .. I never got the handbag/shoe bug. Are u testing tomorrow? (impatiently waiting here.. hope is a hbfp - huge big fat positive )

Plummymummy - I am 31. Sorry for your bad luck last year. Kinda puts my whining in persepective ((hugs)) xx

How d'ya cut your finger tiger?

becklespeckle · 13/04/2007 10:09

Scorpio - ebay advice - I never put a bid on until the last few mins of the auction, then I put in my top price (and let fate decide). If I bid too early I always end up bidding more than I wanted to just because I WANT it!

tigerschick · 13/04/2007 09:30

Oh Blinking cut finger, can't type quickly enough!

tigerschick · 13/04/2007 09:30

sorry about your af pinkslippers Hope May is a better month for you

Also sorry you had a bad time of it last year plummy Hope you don't have to wait much longer to complete your family

Scorpio I would put your bid up to what ever your top price is and let fate decide. But that's me and I don't really understand things like handbags, not being a very girly girl iykwim. (not meaning to say you are, just that I'm not )

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 09:28

I KNEW IT

sorry i am just a bit obsessed about this bag

plummymummy · 13/04/2007 09:26

I'm bidding for this lovely handbag on ebay and I'm determined to get it

plummymummy · 13/04/2007 09:24

Sorry you are feeling so down Awen. It's a long time to be ttc for so I'm not surprised you're feeling so down. I really hope you get a bfp. I know what you mean about feeling your family is incomplete. My son is nearly 3 so I worry about the age gap too, though clearly not enough to not bother trying! How old are you? I am 35 and I had really hoped to conceive my 2nd before 35. Lost two last year

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 09:21

it better not be any of you.....
