TTC #2 (November BFPs)

I def think I ovulated yesterday as I was crampy and boobs were tender. 2 week wait now on 🤞🏼

How frustrating Mynameis. This is one of the reasons I hate long term ttc so much. It’s really easy to time things perfectly over a short period of time (we moved mountains to make sure everything was timed to perfection in the first six months) but we’ve had quite a few cycles recently (including this one) where the timing was less than perfect. It’s so difficult when you factor in illness; work commitments etc. For what it’s worth, I’ve been confused by EWCM more than once so here’s hoping you ovulated last week when you originally thought you had.

I really don’t think this is our month but I’ll take the rise in heart rate as a positive in any event - I’ll take a conception but no implantation over no conception at all any day of the week... It could well be a sign that DH’s new regime is starting to work. He’s only been on it properly since mid-October so it may well be January before it makes a significant difference...

@cariad unfortunately DH has been really poorly and then working away so we haven’t been able to dtd since Wednesday night. So I think we are out this month already.

Fingers crossed that in the nicest possible way you won’t be having any bubbles for DS’s Birthday!

Yeah just had a bit if very light pink discharge and been getting cramping past 2 days too so could be implantation. Going to test again tomorrow. Fingers super crossed.

Mynameis - sorry to hear that this cycle has been so confusing. This happened to me a lot earlier in the year and it drove me to distraction! As long as you keep dtding every other day, you should still be in with a good shot though (easier said than done I know).

Dino - It definitely sounds as though it might have been implantation bleeding, so don’t give up just yet.

Currently 7dpo at this end and I got excited on Friday and yesterday as the heart rate on my Fitbit soared to heights that I haven’t experienced since May when I had a really weird cycle which felt a lot like an early miscarriage. But alas, my heart rate has plummeted again today so I’m fairly sure I’m out yet again. AF is due on Sunday but planning to test on Friday as it’s DS’s Birthday and I quite fancy a glass or two of bubbles after he’s gone to bed!

8dpo & my nipples are sore. I have back ache but tbh I think that’s work related. I don’t feel any different from previous cycles but I do feel calmer than I have been previous months due to work etc. According to Ovia app I’m due to poas in 4 days, I’m going to leave it longer though just to be sure. Anyone else feeling lucky this cycle?

No idea what’s happened this cycle, have been seriously lax with the opks and I don’t know when I ovulated but I think we’ve possibly missed it. I’ve had EWCM for a week now, thought I’d ov’d when I had a nearly positive test on Tuesday night and a really light failed on Weds afternoon. But the EWCM has continued until today #confused

kit can't say I've had that experience but do find Flo predicts ovulation couple days too early for me.

Still not AT 2 days later... still BFN though.

So according to the flo app I’m ovulating today, I’m feeling crampy and my boobs are tender but no CM, anyone had found this too?

So we had a new experience this morning, whilst DTD DS started murmuring in his room so was a race to DTD before DS started shouting out for us this morning...we managed to beat him haha

So don't know what's happened to Af... was super light yesterday then last night and so far today there has been nothing! 🤷very unusual for me. Still getting BFN though

@dino sorry to hear AF showed up. Fingers crossed for next cycle.

Has anyone tried acupuncture? I’ve started but DH thinks I’d be better burning the money! Xx

Cariad I'm glad you are getting some positive results and feeling good about your plan my first DS is an August baby so in biased but it was really just lovely having a baby in the nice weather of late summer/autumn and the early constant night feeds felt more do-able when it wasn't dark all the time!

@dino I think people just don’t think... my sister keeps telling me to relax and enjoy my DD and stop thinking about TTC... she then reminds me it took her 1month/ an accident to conceive her 3 😡 it is hard not to get irritated but I don’t think it’s intended, just thoughtless xx

Thanks all. We've always said we would love another little one so we were on same page but his anxiety flared up again earlier this year and he's only in the last couple of months admitted to himself that its happening and needs support from drs. I wanted to bring up trying for another at the start of this year but didn't as I was selfish really I suppose as didn't want to be potentially pregnant with a loose cannon and end up tipping him over the edge even more. Am hoping now he's been back to the drs and is accepting it that things might improve.

@cariad so pleased you had a fairly positive meeting with the clinic. Sounds like there is still lots of hope for a natural conception. Keeping everything crossed for you!

@dino I’m sure your sister didn’t mean anything by it. I think people who haven’t had a hard TTC journey think that everyone is the same as them. So annoying though!

Cariad2017 glad to hear you had some positive news today and glad you've got a plan to make you feel more in control of this process of TTC! Fingers crossed for you. If it's any consolation, a 3 year gap will soon close in terms of how far apart they feel in age. Xx

AF due tomorrow, done another test and BFN again. OPK arrived today along with conception vitamins. Hoping this might help (although we've been trying every other night so pretty sure we've been hitting ovulation surely!)

Met my sister today for coffee, her #1 is same age as ours and she's due with #2 in a month. She ended up talking about how easy they were both to conceive. Very hard not to say something a bit bitter but of course so happy for her. Hate feeling like this!

It must be frustrating having an OH who isn’t on the same page re: ttc Mini. It must be a relief to finally be trying. I really hope you get your BFP very very soon. Xxx

Thanks for your kind words everyone. I have my second blood test results tomorrow which should show whether it is a healthy start. I'll let you know. V nervous.

@Cariad2014 glad to hear was fairly positive news at your appointment and that you have got a plan. We are also looking like having a 3+ year gap, I wanted to try earlier but DH wasn't in the right place for it (still don't think he's fully there but anxiety is a bugger) and work for both of us was busy, also kind of got wrapped up in enjoying watching DS growing up too.

Re apps I'm using ovia and ff, used them both last time so figured would go with what I know. Have had backache and right lower tummy pain today.
