TTC #2 (November BFPs)

If anyone is ttc2 and expecting their AF/ BFP in November then this thread is for you.

Let’s all give ourselves a fabulous excuse not to drink at Christmas!

My stats are as follows:

Age: 35
DS: 2 (in late November)
Cycle: 13 (lucky for some?!?!) I have short cycles so this is month 11 (yawn!)
AF/ BFP due: 2 November

I would also like to ask; me and my partner have discussed ttc and firstly he said no definitely not, so I left it and then asked again recently and he said he doesn't want one but wants me to be happy. He said he wouldn't be unhappy if we had another but I feel like it wouldn't be the same as the first time round. I am desperate for another baby. I don't know whether going ahead with ttc is a bad idea or just to do it? What do you all think?

Hi Emabrmsca! I have been tracking cycles for a while and notice a few different things happen around ovulation.

It's different for everyone but for me my sex drive goes through the roof (helpful), I get a lot more energy and my CF gets very egg white like too (tmi sorry!). I have a few other smaller changes too but they're the main ones. I think CF is the easiest way for me to predict when it is.

If you get an app to help track what's happening for you that can be really useful. Or of course you can use ovulation kits too!

Only came off my pill yesterday so waiting for withdrawal bleed then actual af.
How do you know when you are ovulating? I don't know how long my cycle is as it's always been all over the place

I should add that I’m likely to end up with two shots at a November BFP as my first AF should be due around the 2nd, and the next one around the 28th, so everyone on this bus will no doubt be sick of me before the end!

Rhi - I do hope Halloween ends up being lucky for you and that you get your BFP before November starts! Halloween is actually my last day in my current job so I’m semi-tempted to test then just to see if I’ve managed to invoke the law of sod!

Welcome Elephant. Do feel free to straddle both buses. I really hope this current cycle is lucky for you.

Lexi - I really hope your AF returns very very soon (or even better, you get upduffed before she’s back)

El - I really hope you get lucky quickly this time round. A 3ish year gap sounds lovely. Xxx

Hi!

Hope it's ok to join. After many months of discussion we have decided to go for baby number 2 and I am VERY excited. Also very nervous that it will take longer than it did with our first.

Age 31
DD was 2 in September
Cycle 1
AF 4th November

Not 100% on my AF as cycles seem to have been fluctuating between 28 and 35 days (I have been tracking since I had my daughter Blush) But I think I am pretty aware of when ovulation is so keeping everything crossed.

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me joining this thread, as I'm TTC #2, but currently in limbo at the moment awaiting af's return after being absent since march due to the depo injection. Sending loads of baby dust!

Just marking my place. I'll probably straddle both threads for a while if that's ok. I'm still bf dd (16 months) which is making my cycle a bit unpredictable!
