Mid October testers?

I'm 6 dpo and have used up all my methods of distraction already!

I'll be testing on the 11th if I can wait that long!

For context, we weren't actively trying but I always knew we'd have a third and there's a (small?) chance it has happened this month. It would be earlier than we planned but if there's anything I've learned it is that there's never a good time and never a bad time to have a baby. Grin This would be my last so Im getting myself really excited.

Does anybody want to join me in this waiting marathon?

I got my BFP this morning! It's been a long 19 months, flipping between grinning like a Cheshire Cat to being in complete disbelief! Fingers cross for anyone else who is still waiting xx

I tested on Friday as planned but got a BFN that would have been 4 days early, AF is due today but no sign yet.

Good evening!

Any updates from you? I started spotting yesterday but it hasn’t turned into much more today. Not going to test again until Tuesday (1 week Late) have a feeling this spotting may turn into af Sad.

I too plan to test this month for # 2 I've been trying to conceive for a year now although most months having been unsuccessful with DTD due to illness in the family (all low level and recoverable thankfully Smile)
So out of the year this is probably the 3rd time it's actually a possibility. I'm due AF on Monday and have cycle that averages 24 days but I have seen it being as little as 21 days and as much as 28. We are visiting friends this weekend so plan to test on Friday morning so I can decide if I'm going to have an alcoholic drink or not. I keep getting pains in my pelvis which are unusual but no other real symptoms. Good luck all!

Yes little. Periods have been regular for about a year now. Still nothing. Gonna do another test tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

Hello naked! Are your periods regular? Could it be that you ovulated later?

Can I join in?
TTC DC 3 first month AF due today but nothing yet. No symptoms of either pg or af. Negative test. Feeling confused Confused.
Tested early both times previously and had positives straight away.
I wasn’t expecting it to happen instantly but I’m usually very regular with my cycles and I get really bad PMT and so far nothing this month!!!

Daener ha, yes!

My last two pregnancies were both surprises and I only found out in week 6 or 7. So all this symptom spotting and waiting is very new to me. It is also quite exciting! Wink if it doesn't go on for too long of course!

Me too! I was as mad last time, that said I got a BFP straight away that time even though I was testing early. Oh well let's wait and see! If not see you in November!

Daener I am pretty sure I'm out this month. I guess you're right and all my symptoms just mean af is on her way.

Oh well. This pregnancy would have come a bit earlier than we planned. But I got myself all worked up and hopeful. I doubt I will learn my lesson though! Grin

But in answer to your question people seem do seem to get negatives testing early then positives later on. I would say wait until Thursday and if no AF test again.

You have my sympathy! I've just foolishly done a FR test and it was a BFN so I think I'm out. AF not due until Sunday but I have really sore boobs which I think is a sign of AF instead of pregnancy now I've done the test.

Hi all fellow testers.

So I poas this morning and got a pfn.

I was really disappointed! Admittedly chances weren't exactly huge but these last few days I have had such vivid dreams (including one where I gave birth, too surreal), sore breasts to the point that they woke me up, and ligament pains in my pelvic area.

I guess it just shows how strong our psychological power of conviction is!

I (think) I was 12 or 13dpo when I did the test. Af is due on Thursday. It was a cheap blue dye test.

Could it have been wrong? Be honest with me! Grin

@BlueeSpottyTiger no just the cheapie opks for now I ran out of the sticks for the clear blue ones. I’m hoping to get my positive in the morning ( or through the night, I always need a wee about 2-3ish so will test then lol) I’ve told the hubby I will be needing him in the morning before Work just to make sure haha, he just said ok darling xxx

I'm not entirely sure what's going on with my tests the last 2 frers i've done have been darker than the first one i did but the one i did today is the same colour as yesterday. I don't think I'm pregnant! surely at 10/11dpo they should be darker. I'm not going to test tomorrow, I'll wait until my bday Tuesday and if its not darker then i know to probably expect af the next day.

Littlebirdblues I’ve been good! I’m going to hold out until Friday. I can’t cope with the disappointment of a bfn - I’d rather just see af. Just a few more days for you to wait! Hopefully you’re keeping busy to distract yourself. Fx!

AF due on Thursday. I haven't tested at all yet and I don't think the chances are high, we're more in the "let's see what happens" category...

Im pretty sure this people be my last baby so I'm quite emotional about it al!

The thing is that my dad is visiting from abroad until Wednesday morning. If it's a bfp I wouldn't want to tell him yet but it would be hard to keep it from him too! That's why I've waited this long! Grin

Hello! Can I join? I'm 7DPO and due AF on 15th October (Next Sunday) so I'll probably be testing 14th onwards.
