BFP!

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me!

Was a fairly faint line but I'm only 10dpo so would expect that. And I've been fooled by evap lines before and this wasn't one of those.

I knew this was my month!

I've been looking at ds (2.2) all day and thinking omg you're not my little baby any more.

Going out with dh tonight to celebrate (my birthday) so we're going to sit there and goo-ily grin at each other.

Ambi · 18/05/2007 17:13

Wow, I don't spy on this thread for a week or too and BFPs are in, Hurrah Plum, Sooooooooo happy for you. Congrats..

Got my fingers crossed for you too Scorpio.

MamaMaiasaura · 18/05/2007 17:05

plummy - get a stash of tests if your like me.. I have been testing weekly

sweetkitty · 18/05/2007 15:48

plummy - for another pink line, the next 3 weeks will fly past I'm sure

sweetkitty · 18/05/2007 15:46

Soph - the furthest my cats get is the back garden to eat grass before being sick, I think it helps gets the furballs up but it's not easy if DD2 spots it before I do (she hasn't eaten any yet) lol at your DS painting robots is very important all yesterday and today DD1 has been on at me to do handprints (fingerpainting) couldn't face it yesterday but we have just finished today (it's our big girls time whilst DD2 is napping)

tigerschick - your story reminds me of a work colleague who told us her MIL had asked if she had been painting the bedroom ceiling recently as there was paint on her sheets (her MIL did her housework for her) another TMI alert but DP and I have been using condoms since DD2 was born and the other night was our first night BDing without, I had forgotten how messy it is, yuck!

plummymummy · 18/05/2007 15:32

Thanks Soph. How is you little boy? Hope he feels better soon. Ds has been ill too. Had to pick him up midday on wednesday as he had fever and possible eye infection. GP px anti-biotic eyedrops but eye not any better and fever returns when nurofen wears off. Think I'll call the surgery to see what to do next.

Soph73 · 18/05/2007 15:26

LOL tigerschick - I swear that women ttc are probably the barmiest bunch of people ever Some of the things I find myself doing are so out of character it´s unbelievable!

Plummy - will wish the next 3 weeks to go quickly for you

Well I´m off now as it´s nearly time to throw all the kids out of here and start the weekend. Have good weekends everyone and lots of bding for everyone

plummymummy · 18/05/2007 15:24

Hi everyone. Scorpio - sorry you're feeling so down I didn't realise that the coil messed up cycles so much. I was really thinking about getting one after my next child. Has it put you off the coil? I hope you get a bpf. If your period is just running late, I hope it comes soon so you can get on with things. Like others though, I am still hopeful for you Tigers and sweetkitty I am fine. How are you? Sorry to hear about you and dh sweetkitty - hope things get better soon. Got a stronger pink line on cheapie this morning. Only 4 weeks pg. Cannot fool myself that I'm not pregnant anymore as I have done dozens of tests and a digital one and they all point to the same thing.Still wary until I go for scan at 7 weeks. The next 3 weeks are going to drag by

tigerschick · 18/05/2007 15:19

washed even!?

tigerschick · 18/05/2007 15:16

LOL Soph - I 'hid' a bfn in a drawer in a kitchen so I could show it to dh (I wahed it first). My mil was there for lunch and asked where the spare tea towels were. I told her then had to almost knock her out of the way before she opened the drawer and saw the test! Also, one of my cats has taken to occasionally, thank goodness not regularly, pooing on the landing!! How gross is that!?! We have a flap and everything!

Soph73 · 18/05/2007 14:57

Hi sweetkitty - our cat doesn´t even go outside and yet she still manages to throw up in the most unusual of places I think she did it because ds has had all the attention over the last couple of days. We´re dog-sitting this weekend for friends so I´m getting dh to clear up after them

DS has had a good day today according to his teacher and has managed to paint his robot, which was his main concern while he was off "what about painting my robot mummy" bless him!

Hope you and dp manage to get everything sorted out. Me and dh went through a stage when I was expecting ds and it was really wearing and I thought we´d never get it sorted - fortunately we did though

Tigerschick - your life sounds about as exciting as mine. When my MIL was here at Xmas I really thought I was pg and did a test and threw it in the bin in our bathroom, being the kind woman she is she said she´d help me put the rubbish out and as she was about to empty our bin I realised and had to do a superhero leap over the bed to stop her from opening the bin in case she saw it and got her hopes up, dh nearly wet himself laughing

tigerschick · 18/05/2007 14:39

Sorry you're so glum Scorpio. Why are you so certain you're not pg? I thought you had a faint positive or two? Or have I got that wrong? Anyway, I hope you are feeling a little brighter very soon.

I'm off to strip the bed - see what a fun-filled life I lead!! Had a very moment the other evening - TMI alert - when I realised that my mum had made my bed that morning - bless her - and there was 'evidence' of bding on it!! So off to put fresh sheets on before anyone else notices (Not that I'm expecting hoards of people thru my bedroom you understand!)

sweetkitty · 18/05/2007 14:33

Scorpio - sorry to hear you are feeling so down, have you taken a test again today? I always say if AF stays away theres always a chance.

Soph - I have missed you cycle buddy hope DS is feeling better soon, I have 3 cats and at least one is sick every day they drive me mad they go outside eat grass come inside and be sick, WHY????

Plummy - thanks for the kind words fell a bit for venting a bit, how are you feeling today?

anyone else close to testing??

I'm still a bit low about the whole DP thing, he has apologised and said it isn't good enough don't know if he's telling me what he thinks I want to hear though. It's not just about a night out unfortunately theres a lot more to it

CD11 here (already seems like 2 minutes it was only CD1) but don't think there will be much chance of a BFP this month now

scorpio1 · 18/05/2007 13:32

Sorry just feeling a bit under the clouds today with all this. i dont for a second think i am pg. im cd29 today, due yesterday.

i just wonder how many more times am i going to have to go through my cycle?? last month i was 2 weeks late! apparently my coil effects take a bit of time to wear off. . . . i do feel like i have pmt though, achey tummy & so teasy! i didnt notice any ewcm this month either.

Time will tell i suppose.

tigerschick · 18/05/2007 13:31

Scorpio - Any particular reason?

Sweetkitty - Sorry your dh is being difficult ... hope things improve soon.

Minxi - Welcome to the thread sorry to hear about your mc but really good luck for this month.

Plummy - how you doing today?

Everyone else - hope you're all ok

Soph73 · 18/05/2007 13:28

Sorry to hear that, sending big hugs and positive vibes

scorpio1 · 18/05/2007 13:25

crap

Soph73 · 18/05/2007 13:24

Alright scorpio? How you feeling?

scorpio1 · 18/05/2007 13:04

Hello

just popping in to say i'm still here....

Soph73 · 18/05/2007 11:32

Morning all. Haven´t been around for the last couple of days as DS has been off school with sickness and diarrohea and then, just to top it off the b*y cat was sick this morning and I had to clear that up - lovely.

Plummy, Scorpio - how´s it going Am keeping super positive for you.

Minxy - sorry to hear about mc. Welcome to the thread am sending you loads of positive vibes for a speedy recovery, etc

Sweetkitty - sorry to hear about dp, it´s amazing they think they can get away with the stories they tell us and then they wonder why they can´t get their end away!! Anyway, hope you´re feeling better and dp gets his act together

plummymummy · 18/05/2007 08:58

Oh sorry sweetkitty - they can be so insensitive can't they. Plus it's so easy for them to go out straight from work, whereas we have to arrange for them to come home first so that we can go out (which means less time out). I have ds on thurs and fri during the day and he tends to go out on those evenings.

sweetkitty · 17/05/2007 21:07

Evening all welcome to the thread minxi so sorry to hear about your miscarriage

Well I think my ttc is over for this month thanks to my DP I've had a migraine all day and was feeling pretty lousy, he phoned to say when he would be home then phoned again with some cock and bull story about his mate (basically he is being a tosser and wanting to go out) I am totally livid with him, I was at home feeling really horrid with two children under 3 to contend with. The thought of BDing with him now makes me sick so that's that. Sorry to offload this when it was such a lovely positive thread today. I'm off to bed now to try and shake off this headache.
